WRWTFWW Records is extremely excited to announce the first ever vinyl release for Pizza Hotline’s brilliant 2022 full-length Level Select, originally only released on cassette and digital. The liquid drum & bass meets Y2K era video gaming aesthetics monster is now available in a limited edition transparent vinyl double LP with a glorious 45rpm cut, packaged in a heavyweight 350gsm sleeve.

Entirely written and composed by UK producer Pizza Hotline (apart from "GLACIER ZONE", a collaboration between Pizza Hotline and DJ Total 90), the stellar 8-song album was initially released as a limited cassette in January 2022 and quickly gained cult status - making a full-on vinyl release quite the necessity. It’s here now with the the previously unreleased track "POLYGON DREAMSCAPE" (which sounds as magical as its title) and 45rpm cut for louder, bigger, deeper bass rumbling.

Spellbinding, atmospheric, and beautifully melodic, Level Select is a large scope dreamy adventure of liquid DnB filled with ambient escapades, ethereal jungle, high vibe breaks, and a heavy loving dose of late 90s / early 2000s video game influences. Hypnotic late night hype and pensive chill moods mesh with ease in a cinematic soundscape that re-contextualizes and gives a new life to a beloved music genre - LTJ Bukem, Peshay, the Wipeout OST or Soichi Terada's Ape Escape come to mind, and sounds and soundtracks from the Sony Playstation, the Nintendo 64, and the Sega Saturn resonate from the speakers. Armada Music and PDD are proud to welcome a new series to their ever growing roster of releases with “A State Of Trance Volume 1”. Kicking things off is the legendary Armin van Buuren with one of his classics “Communication” originally released in 1999 on Cyber Records this trance anthem was an instant hit, known for its driving bassline and signature piano melody it served as his breakthrough hit and the lead single from his debut studio album 76. It reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart and number 2 on the UK Dance Singles Chart.

On the flip are The Thrillseekers (Steven Helstrip) with “Synaesthesia (En-Motion Extended Remix)”. The Thrillseekers have been at the forefront of the global trance scene for 20 years from releasing his first ever single “Synaesthesia” which is now being brought back to life on fresh vinyl for the first time in over 20 years.

Last but not least is “Lange feat. Skye - Drifting Away (Extended Mix)” originally released in 2002 on VC Recordings. Stuart Langelaan, renowned as Lange, has many achievements under his belt such as 20 UK top 40’s and mixing the return of the legendary Trance Nation series for Ministry of Sound.

Freeway was a California outfit that first formed in 1979 and set about fusing jazz, soul and outreach-driven purpose into a sound that sat outside the norms of the contemporary Christian scene at the time. Their sole album, this self-title gem, was cut in 1981 for New Born Records has since become an underground rarity, often changing hands for upwards of £400. Now, 45 years on, Vinyl Kitchen brings Freeway back to vinyl for the first time ever, complete with new liner notes and rare photos. It's a glorious, life-affirming work of bright jazz sounds, celebratory energy, boogie grooves, funky horns and prog licks. Perfect for listening and dancing alike.

A serious private-press rarity gets its long-overdue reissue here for the first time ever. Formed in California in 1979, Freeway blended soulful grooves, jazz melodies and powerful horns into something that stood apart from the era's contemporary Christian scene. Originals now regularly fetch upwards of £400 on the resale market and this 45th Anniversary Edition marks a reissue that is going to fly off the shelves, complete with newly written liner notes and rare photographs telling the band's story. With dozens of releases scattered over Future Times, Superconscious Records, LAMA, Got Tun, Balaclava Records, or his own 40% Foda/Maneiríssimo, he lands on our lap with a couple of highly effective, UK infused, and slightly nostalgic dance tracks. We’ve allways neutered a profound sense admiration for everything that Guerrinha was releasing under his 40% Foda/Maneiríssimo label, and had the feeling that his vibe was definitely one that we could relate to. Happy, a little wacky, and truly unpretentious dance floor madness! From acknowledging that, to reaching out was just a step. He was super available to work with us, and after the first talks he promptly provided us with a google drive folder with more of 100 unreleased tracks… Yes! You heard it! More than 100 gems of pure creativity ranging from all kinds of genres and across a fucking multiverse of alias and alter egos! So yes, that’s the kind of creative genius we are talking about… Moving from this “garagy” universe, Guerrinha presents us with a set of super fun tracks, which both leans over this infamous side of dance music, as well as it keeps an eye open for the most blatant forms of pop culture. Pure and simple dance floor tracks, to be enjoyed with a smile on your face.

"Is this the sound Sérgio?" or "Is this Sergio's sound?". The question of the questions seems silly, but it was postulated in 2019 to answer Guerrinha a new sound idea: A super appealing garage sound, so that any kind of doubt about the fact that Guerrinha's sets being fun, and that he himself would be able to mix swinging rhythms, would be eliminated. Sérgio is Guerrinha’s pseudonym for this, and since its first release in 2019 with the album “Utensílios” it has strangely become his most played alias, with a few small hits in the small Brazilian scene. After the pandemic drama, he returned in 2022 with the album "Mais Utensílios" and the single "Fantabobi / Riquititas", two releases that again grew the good problem of other djs constantly asking Guerrinha for these tracks. Now he releases the 12'' "Pelo da Churreia" via Discos Extendes, made in 2020 and containing small garage hits from that time. All this information raises the initial questions, since Sérgio is not just a pseudonym, but the curse that grew inside Guerrinha himself, sometimes it's in the appeal that “the bug catches on”.

One of the early breed of US death metal acts, Autopsy formed in 1987 in San Francisco. Drummer/vocalist Chris Reifert had gained initial recognition with Floridian genre pioneers Death & his participation on the classic debut, ‘Scream Bloody Gore’ before this new morbid creation was birthed. Autopsy released 4 albums on Peaceville Records in the early part of their career - beginning with the legendary debut, ‘Severed Survival’, in 1989 - before disbanding in 1995, with members going on to become the stalwarts of sickodelia in Abscess.

Autopsy triumphantly & officially returned from the grave after a 15 year hiatus with the 2010 EP, ‘The Tomb Within’. This was followed by the release of the band’s fifth studio album, ‘Macabre Eternal’ in 2011, as the group celebrated a new era of popularity & creativity. This reverence continues to this day as Autopsy itself nears its 40th anniversary, & still features the longstanding core trio of Chris Reifert, Eric Cutler, & Danny Coralles.

‘Mental Funeral’ was Autopsy’s second studio album, originally released back in 1991, & is rightly hailed as one of the greatest death metal albums of all time with its unhinged & uncompromising collection of odes to brutality & depravity, wrapped up in its highly distinctive raw, organic production.

‘Mental Funeral’ was recorded at Different Fur Studios in late 1990, with engineering work conducted by Ron Rigler. The iconic artwork appeared courtesy of Kev Walker, who had already provided the (at the time) controversial cover for Autopsy’s debut, ‘Severed Survival’.

This special 35th anniversary pressing of ‘Mental Funeral’ is presented on a limited red/green ink spot vinyl, featuring newly remastered audio courtesy of current Autopsy bassist Greg Wilkinson at his Earhammer Studios.

Mit Grumpy Pieces kehrt der Düsseldorfer Musiker Harmonious Thelonious alias Stefan Schwander mit einem Werk zurück, das seine langjährige Klangästhetik präzise destilliert und zugleich spürbar aufreibt. Wieder verbinden sich Pan-Afrikanische und Nahöstliche Rhythmuskonzepte, minimalistische Wiederholungsstrukturen und reduzierter Elektronik-Einsatz zu einem hypnotischen Sound - diesmal jedoch rauer, trockener und offener für Brüche als zuvor. Die acht Stücke wirken wie unter Spannung gesetzt: Melodien schaben über kantige Bassfundamente, scharfe Snare-Schläge durchschneiden das Gefüge, und trotz des klaren Groove-Fokus ist ständig ein nervöses Knistern präsent. Grumpy Pieces reflektiert eine Gegenwart voller politischer und gesellschaftlicher Reibung - ohne explizite Kommentare, aber mit einer Musik, die Reibung selbst zum Gestaltungsmittel macht. Title track Tokyo Midnight opens with a groovy guitar riff and continues into an upbeat rhythmic workout, complete with a funky bassline and ululating keyboards. Yurika’s enchanting voice ties things together in a soft yet hypnotic musical whirlwind.

On the B-side, Nasnusa, a beautiful guitar solo flows into a captivating rhythm inspired by traditional Mizrahi music. Yurika’s delicate vocals evoke a love story: a couple watches the sunset as the gates to a new world begin to open. As Nasnusa fades into the light, her lover recalls her beauty and reflects fondly on the wonderful time they shared together.

Founded by Amir Sadot and Ilan Smilan, Sababa 5 have been playing together for two years and recently built their own recording studio. “We just wanted a place to record our music where the whole band could fit together in the same room… so we built the place ourselves! Mind you, there’s not a lot of space… in fact, we’re a bit crammed in there, but that’s how we like it.” Sababa 5’s musical style has been shaped by all its members and continues to evolve while always remaining deeply groove-centric. Their sound is rooted in surf rock and retro funk, drawing strong inspiration from Arabic folk and funk music of the ’60s and ’70s, as well as artists from that era such as the legendary Aris San.

Yurika is a Japanese performer born and raised in Tokyo. During her teenage years, she discovered belly dancing and quickly fell in love with the art form. She later travelled throughout the Middle East to deepen her studies, learning from choreographers such as Orly Portal and performing alongside renowned artists including Raquy Danziger, Boom Pam, and Ouzo Bazooka.

Black Screen Records once again teams up with composer Chris Christodoulou and Hopoo Games for a vinyl repress of the classic original soundtrack to Risk of Rain 2. At the request of Christodoulou, the new edition of the triple vinyl comes on heavy 180g black wax, the way he enjoys the format the most. The set is housed in a beautiful trifold sleeve with the original artwork illustrated by Italian artist Daniele Giardini. All 20 songs have been carefully remastered by Christian Bethge (Risk of Rain, Deadbolt, Divinity: Original Sin II, A Plague Tale) for the vinyl format. With Risk of Rain 2 the classic multiplayer rogue-like returns with an extra dimension and more challenging action. No run will ever be the same with randomized stages, enemies, bosses, and items. Play solo, or team up with up to four friends to fight your way through hordes of monsters, unlock new loot, and find a way to escape the planet. In his third collaboration with Hopoo Games, Chris Christodoulou returns to the Risk of Rain franchise adding another dimension to the game's music-verse. This two-hour-long genre-bending release spans from foreboding electronica to pounding progressive metal and features all music from the game and then some.

In 1993 the French funk rock collective FFF (short for Fédération Française de Fonck) followed up their debut album with Free For Fever. The band went to the UK to record the album. This time there was significantly more rock and metal influenced compared to its predecessor, but the funk (or rather, the Fonck) is still ever present.

For production they got help from Mark Wallis who worked with Talking Heads, R.E.M. and The Smiths. Especially in France the album was a great success.

After being out of print for over a decade, Free For Fever is finally back on vinyl, as a limited edition of 1000 copies on white vinyl, Included in the package is a 4-page booklet.

In 1996, FFF (short for Fédération Française de Fonck) released their third studio album, the selftitled FFF.

After experimenting with English lyrics, singer and songwriter Marco Polo almost fully returned to writing in French for this album. The band also recorded the album in Paris instead of the UK. The album remains a firm favourite among fans and is highly sought after on vinyl.

FFF is available as a 30th anniversary edition of 1000 copies on blue vinyl and includes a 4-page booklet.

Zum 30-jährigen Jubiläum des Rebellions in Blackpool spielt die Düsseldorfer Punkrockband DEAD DATES. Passend dazu bringt die Band mit ihrem Label ,Sunny Bastards Records" aus Essen eine EP mit rein englischen Texten heraus. Überraschend, da ihre Texte sonst zu 80% auf Deutsch sind. Sänger Opa: ,Unsere Vorfreude aufs Rebellion ist riesengroß, daher wollten wir uns selbst ein kleines Geschenk machen. Es geht also nicht darum unser Terrain zu vergrößern, denn wir werden auf der nächsten LP auch wieder fast nur deutsche Text haben.". Nicht nur an der Musik haben die DEAD DATES intensiv in den Düsseldorfer Wild Wood Studios gearbeitet. Besonders an den Lyrics hat Sänger Opa zusammen mit englischen Freunden länger gesessen: ,Es sollten keine 0815-Texte mit den üblichen Punkparolen werden. Besonders bei Blackpool neigen ja viele Bands, besonders deutsche, dazu, irgendeinen Quatsch mit Lieblingsort, saufen und Prügeleien zu singen oder wie schön angeblich diese Stadt ist. Von diesem Blödsinn und Klischees wollten wir uns fernhalten. Daher habe ich den Blick bei ,Blackpool" auf andere Sachen gelegt." Die DEAD DATES spielen melodischen Punkrock. Ehrlich, authen..sch, energiegeladen. Seit ihrer Gründung 2022 haben sich die DEAD DATES mit ihrer Energie, ihrem Humor und ihrer Leidenschaft auf der Bühne einen echten Namen als absolute Liveband erworben. Zum 30-jährigen Jubiläum des Rebellions in Blackpool spielt die Düsseldorfer Punkrockband DEAD DATES. Passend dazu bringt die Band mit ihrem Label ,Sunny Bastards Records" aus Essen eine EP mit rein englischen Texten heraus. Überraschend, da ihre Texte sonst zu 80% auf Deutsch sind. Sänger Opa: ,Unsere Vorfreude aufs Rebellion ist riesengroß, daher wollten wir uns selbst ein kleines Geschenk machen. Es geht also nicht darum unser Terrain zu vergrößern, denn wir werden auf der nächsten LP auch wieder fast nur deutsche Text haben.". Nicht nur an der Musik haben die DEAD DATES intensiv in den Düsseldorfer Wild Wood Studios gearbeitet. Peter Brown's P&P label is possibly the most collectible of all the Disco-era independent labels. The distribution was always patchy, the records would often appear out of nowhere and then disappear equally fast. Many of the artists were one-off productions or working under hastily conceived pseudonyms.

In short, P&P has all the ingredients of the perfect label for diggers everywhere with records still being discovered some 40 years later. Little is known about Marta Acuna but plenty is known about the production team of Patrick Adams and Lonnie Johnson who were just way ahead of everyone else on this spacey Disco jam from 1977. It's been consistently popular on the cooler dance-floors for the last 20 years but suddenly the 7" has sprung into demand. A mint copy isn't far off £100 these days, so it seemed a good time to finally make the 7" available again.

In Arc, Yorkshire-born artist Kirk Barley explores alternative tunings and off-grid sequencing to shape fluid rhythmic and melodic systems that unfold into rich harmonic forms. Kirk’s fourth album under his own name and debut for Marionette continues his exploration of just intonation through a sparse but finely detailed palette of organic atmospheres, metallic shimmer and off-kilter rhythms. Across the record, glassy pads, gamelan metallophones, clarinet and guitar dissolve into fluid, dreamlike forms, suggesting vast coastal landscapes, charged air and the stillness that follows turbulence.

Drawing on the feel of sample-based hip-hop, the minimalism of Terry Riley and Jon Hassell, as well as dub techno and post-rock, Kirk brings together a range of influences in a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. After first hearing Terry Riley’s Shri Camel as a teenager, he became captivated by just intonation and microtuning, inspirations that have shaped his work ever since, from his earliest Bambooman releases to the present solo works and as on half of Church Andrews & Matt Davies. Arc is his first record to be fully rooted in alternative tunings from start to finish. Longtime friend and collaborator Matt Davies appears on Ion, Sundry, Ecstatic and Fret (Haar), where his finely detailed, ASMR-like muted percussion deepens the dialogue between tactile acoustic sound and Kirk’s luminous electronic palette.

Released in 2011, Komba is Buraka Som Sistema"s second studio album - their fusion of Angolan kuduro and bass music reaching further across the globe, absorbing new rhythms along the way.
