30D Records celebrates a decade of modern sonic exploration. Since its inception at the end of 2014, and initially taking inspiration from 40's & 50's science fiction culture, the label has been offering to listeners a vast array of genres, being experimental, creative and forward-thinking dance music its main mission.

For its 10th anniversary, the cutting-edge electronic music label very proudly announces five distinctive releases, each one across their respective sub-labels.

30drop, in constant evolution towards experimentation, leaves aside once again the obvious 4x4 pattern to dive into melancholic, dense and gritty musical landscapes. These four tracks, each one carefully crafted to convey a specific feeling at a specific moment, were created through layers and harmonics that work as a whole thing.

'Insight Into Mind And Space' is the latest full length project from techno producer and label owner 30drop. It's a 10 track collection compiled out tracks previously released on Jeff Mills' Axis imprint in digital formats. The original albums 'Soroban' and 'Photosynthetic Zone Manifesto' have been released in the years 2020 and 2021 and will now be available on vinyl in a limited edition for the first time. The compiled album includes pieces that, like the mind, evolve as a consequence of each other in an orderly way. Starting with the early origins represented by the track 'Dunkelblau' with which the album begins, going through 'Accepting The Future', which represent the complexity reached by the human brain. 'Insight Into Mind And Space' portrays those hypothetical and alternative molecular combinations in the form of songs. Exposed to different chemical elements, gravitational and environmental conditions, dormant genes and signaling pathways are activated and uncannily combined. And just like the molecular events, sounds are combined in different ways, whether simple or complex, to create songs that provide an artistic vision to that scientific concept that opens a hypothesis to other types of intelligence that are far from human and that could exist in the vast out there. About 30drop. In his formative years, the artist responsible for 30drop discovered new synthetic and electronic sounds that would later influence his work. From the year 1996, his activity as a DJ powered his link with music, focused on Detroit Techno and Techno sounds that held the transgressive references of Birmingham, UK. These impressions saw 30drop magnetize toward an industrial, experimental, noise-based sound, particularly in the mid-2000s. After a creative pause, 2014 brought his new project, '30drop', at this time his label 30D Records of which he is the Manager and joint A&R with Angel Molina, was also born. The conceptual part of this project has been done in collaboration and with the supervision of Meritxell Rosell, PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology.

'Obsession' is 30drop's tribute to Genesis P-Orridge's figure and artistic legacy, a way of understanding art which unfortunately is in disuse. Speedy J contributes his vision with a remix, creating an exceptional wall of sound piece. Released in very limited & numbered dubplate edition.

Our new slice of wax comes this time from outer space made somewhere between unknown galaxies and black holes. The spaceship’s pilot is 30drop, a mysterious alias that has been running its platform 30D for a long while now and is not often seen outside its realm. So it’s an honor for us to have 30drop onboard.

For this special occasion 30drop provides six cuts of futuristic techno but with a ravey approach in a time backspin that brings us back to the 90’s via Sci-Fi, reminding in some way of the early UR records, when Mad Mike and Jeff Mills worked together on the soundtrack of the future.

This is our first mini LP with 3 cuts per side. The first cut is Brain reset, the short drone intro soon leads to a relentless groove made of repetitive sequences over a fast groove. Intense and obsessive.

Mental Understanding brings more minimalistic ingredients, absence of hi hats, just kick drum and synth lines.

Brain effervescence showcases the infamous 90’s hoover sound bringing the rave element and 303 acid lines all merged in a lawless and dense mixture.

B side opens with Self awareness, starting with ethereal atmospheres, spiced with resonant bleeps and micro drones in a beat-less exercise.

Klapaucjusz brings back the 90’s feeling again with analogue arpeggios and melodies, again over a clean groove in a Detroit oriented number.

Closing the release, Knowledge, a space odyssey of strings, abstract synth lines and flotation.

A work that showcases the skills of this well-seasoned producer that stands apart from any trends, futuristic, atemporal and scientifically crafted.

End Of Dayz 009 is by the mysterious 30drop. His works are described by himself as Detroit techno inspired music mixed with repetitive european techno.
In this release "On The Next Day EP" we find on A side the terror history called "They Saw It Again" and the Jeroen Search remix that is a very danceable rhythmic techno with some cosmic stuff. The B side is for "Raw" where we can listen to some space bells. Here is the remix by an old friend of this label, P.E.A.R.L., bringing the track into a darker place.

The project named after his own label brand presents four cuts ranging from cosmic quantum nervous compulsion to introspection. Harmonious combination of complex percussive rhythms gives way to the already identifiable sonic universe of 30drop that turns into an effective formula at any club aimed at the forefront of the electronic dance music. Sacred geometry and style, concept and form, all to the service of the fundamental search. The roots are deep and horizon is vast. >Superconductivity EP< extends the scope of 30drop positioning on the edge of the sideral dance floor.

30drop deepens in the mystique of Sacred Geometry with its second release, Vortex Resonance EP. Based on the theoretical and intentional, but not formal, Techno foundational precepts, a deliberately contemporary stylistic overdevelopment is build. This time, we find four cuts that highlight the rhythm in view if the Space dance floor. Beating pulses are interwoven with cosmic atmospheres to travel beyond our planetary borders.

Vacuum Geometry EP is the first release of the 30drop project. Four tracks have been edited, to further on be understood as a conclusion of the experiment and evolution of Detroit Techno on one hand, and as a dark and industrial european Techno on the other hand. With this, a new a mix of styles is born, acquiring a particular and differential sound expressed by hypnotic, synthetic and cosmic textures, and by oppressive and evocative
pads.

Spanish producer Univac returns to 30D Records with his second outing on the leading Spanish techno imprint. This time he appears on the ExoPlanets sub, the more futuristic branch of the label. Univac follows this vision and delivers four excellent cuts of forward thinking electro on his MagnetFunk EP. It's an exciting pack reaching high energy levels from dark and dooming vocal chopped new-wave to razor sharp elektroid jams. An excellent collection of spacious and punchy electro goodness.

ORYX 9 has built a synthetic complex universe, in a 70s Druillet pscychedelic Sci-Fi similar vein, mixing up a handicraft and exhaustive sound treatment through ancient machinery, and proper mind-bending literature. Abstraction trail', a conceptual whole sheaf, is the result itself and the fourth 30drop ExoPlanets reference. The evocative Subatomic Uprising in Cassiopea''s retrofuturism meets the lisergic onirism of Ethereal Aquadome'. Bassdrum goes harder on the delayed hipnotism of Magma-45 Decaying Path', a planetary decadence tale. And finally, Ultraviolet (Light of Tsih)', a cosmic endless melody from a dead constellation, winds up the EP. And continuing our 30drop Records Mix Tapes series, ORYX 9 presents this current second chapter with an exclusive DJ set, recorded live at the Simmetry Box in April 2016, that introduces its artistic proposal as a sound manifesto.

Population One, the legendary project of the Detroit Techno legend, Terrence Dixon, arrives at 30drop to present his new work and unveils the 30drop guest artists release series under the name of: 30drop ExoPlanets. >Time Will Tell 3.26.2013at11.40pm 11.18.20135.26.2012at5.59pm 12.1.2008at5.48pm< are the four tracks of the EP. Deliciously transgressor, imaginative and ambitious, the work gets into an unexplored territory to the delight of the most avant-garde dance floor.
