The Dragonforce EP could be the best work yet to emerge from the studios of Laurence Reading aka Halogenix. Flipping from the Japanese comic book influence of the title track to the beautiful future soul of Independent is something not many other producers are capable of. Tekina brings even more ingenuity with a delicate light/dark fusion whilst Reminisce is awash with warmth and ethereal feels. An essential EP.

The exquisite summertime bounce of "Out Of Line" featuring SOLAH on vocals and the future liquid of "Would You" give the perfect balance to the frenetic paranoia of title track "Gaslight" and "Line B". One of his best releases to date.

Kicking things off, title track "Guilty" asserts itself with cinematic synths that make way for high-energy breaks and North London artist Catching Cairo's soulful vocals. Next up, "Kanjiru" is a heavier affair that channels classic darkside D&B energy with contemporary precision.
