In a career spanning 50 years, Leo Sayer has sold more than 80 MILLION records worldwide.
• 'Silverbird' is Leo’s incredible debut album, originally released late in 1973, reaching #2 in UK Albums Chart and includes
the debut single ‘Why Is Everybody Going Home’ and the hit ‘The Show Must Go On’ (#2).
• Co-produced by Adam Faith and David Courtney, ‘Silverbird’ was recorded at several locations including Virgin Records’
Manor Studios, The Who’s lead singer Roger Daltrey’s Barn Studio and Apple studios.
• Following another successful UK tour in Autumn 2022, Leo Sayer has recently been on tour in the USA for the first time in
decades; a country that took him to their hearts with two #1 Singles and a GRAMMY Award and although he now has
Australian citizenship, Leo remains one of the UK's great singer/songwriters and performers of all time.
• This 50th Anniversary celebratory half-speed master version has been newly mastered by Phil Kinrade, and expertly cut
using transfers of the original audio tapes using precision half-speed mastering by Barry Grint at AIR Mastering, London
and is pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl, with a 4-page insert containing the lyrics.

Four full-cast radio episodes based on the hit series, adapted by David Renwick from his TV scripts.
Having been made redundant from his job by an electronic box, crabby Victor Meldrew is faced with the
prospect of finding his feet in an increasingly frustrating world. In these four episodes – Alive and Buried,
Timeless Time, In Luton Airport No-one Can Hear You Scream and The Beast in the Cage – things hilariously
go from bad to worse for Victor and his long-suffering wife, Margaret.
Written by David Renwick, and starring Richard Wilson as Victor and Annette Crosbie as Margaret, these
highly entertaining BBC Radio 2 adaptations also feature a supporting cast including Doreen Mantle, Owen
Brenman, Sally Grace, Jeffrey Holland, Jon Glover and Michael Fenton-Stevens.
Presented in full-colour inner bags, depicting the everyday trappings of Victor’s life, two burgundy 140g
vinyl LPs are housed in an illustrated wide-spine outer sleeve -complete with coffee-spilled rear. You simply
won’t believe it!

Formed in Reading in 1998, The Cooper Temple Clause were an alternative rock band
consisting of Ben Gautrey (vocals), Tom Bellamy (guitar, keyboards), Didz Hammond
(bass), Daniel Fisher (guitar), Kieran Mahon (keyboards), and Jon Harper (drums).
• The band signed with RCA and burst onto the scene with their debut ‘See This Through
And Leave’ in 2002. Featuring the singles ‘Let’s Kill Music’, ‘Film-Maker / Been Training
Dogs’ and ‘Who Needs Enemies?’, the album earned the band a cult following and critical
acclaim including the Kerrang! ‘Best British Newcomer’ award.
• Previously only available on vinyl as a 7” boxset, Demon Records presents the complete
album on 12” vinyl for the very first time. Newly remastered by Phil Kinrade and cut by
Barry Grint at AIR Mastering.
• Pressed on two 140g vinyl with printed inner sleeves

Erstmalig erscheint die späte Compilation mit 10 ausgesuchten Tracks (Lost Demos) aus der Ära beim Label Statik als LP. Inkl. 'Counting The Days', 'Whirlpool' und 'Love Is Not A Ghost' erscheint die LP mit brandneuem Artwork, das von Fotograf und Filmemacher Nigel Grierson etworfen wurde. Die zehn Songs erschienen bislang lediglich als CD in einem Boxset aus dem Jahr 2015, und wurden für diese LP von Phil Kinrade in den AIR Studios neu gemastert.

Doris Duke's version of Marlena Shaw's seminal, powerful “Woman Of The Ghetto” originally appeared on her third album 'Woman' in 1975. It's a searing version, Duke's full-bodied and fierce voice adding even more urgency to the searing social commentary embedded in the lyrics.

On the flip is another SAM Records classic. “Free” by Rhyze is a disco-monster. A sure-fire staple for some of the biggest DJs and diggers out there.

Remastered reissue of another stone cold New York club classic from the legendary
SAM Records label - home to so many fabulous disco/boogie recordings from the
1980s.
• Pure early 80s electronic disco joy for the packed, sweaty dance-floors. A true boogie
classic, a huge club hit that got spun from The Garage to the streets of London.
• Not much is known about Komiko, an undercover studio outfit that featured guest
vocals Carol Williams, Tracey Weber and Vicky D. This single is their sole release.
• Remastered by Phil Kinrade and presented in a 7” Discobag sleeve.

Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes; one of the most successful worldwide cross-over hit-making soul groups of the early to mid-1970s.

This single presents two of the best cuts from the legendary album “The Blue Album”. On the A side we have Billboard R&B Chart Hit – “Prayin” – hugely popular within the UK dance music scene. On the flip we have the wonderful “Baby I’m Back” – written and produced by none other than disco hall of famers McFadden and Whitehead.

Remastered by Phil Kinrade and presented in a 7” discobag sleeve mirroring the original artwork. Part of the Demon Records Singles Club.

This latest instalment of ARTHUR BAKER Presents DANCE MASTERS finds the production/ song-writing/ remixing maestro taking the spotlight for a long overdue snapshot of his own classic 12” mixes during a crucial evolution of dance music, club
and pop culture.

“I’ve always felt like I was on a mission to make music from the time I heard Motown, Philly and Sly and the Family Stone. My mission started as a hobby and still feels like one now. You’ve got to keep on pushing and hustling. It can be a drag sometimes but
if you really love what you’re doing, it’s worth the work. I still really love what I do.”

Arthur Baker helped codify the remixer as artist. His genre-fluid approach to projects
has resulted in a joyous myriad of classics that spans many decades. This ’80’s focused DANCE MASTERS collection offers a welcome glimpse at Baker’s illustrious career and many long out-of-print 12” versions and previously unavailable mixes.

This 35-track, six LP expanded edition includes a wide array of selections from the likes of Robbie Nevil’s “C’est La Vie,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Big Love,” Neneh Cherry’s “Buffalo Stance”, Jeffrey Osborne “Soweto”, Freeez “I.O.U”, Rockers Revenge “Walking On Sunshine” and of course the juggernaut “Planet Rock” with Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force.

Complete with in-depth liner notes by Bill Coleman, track by track notes written by Arthur Baker himself, previously unseen session photos from Arthur’s personal archives and a signed insert.

'Yesterday Today 1999 - 2003' ist die Fortsetzung in der Reihe von Re-Releases der Studioalben dieser Brit Pop-Institution als umfangreiche LP-Boxsets. Hier nun enthalten: 'One From The Modern', das vierte Album der Band. Ein nachdenklicherer, gefühlvollerer und pastoraler Sound sowie eine politischere Botschaft, wenn auch mit einer psychedelischen Note, die an die Byrds, Small Faces oder späteren Beatles erinnert. Das fünfte Album 'Mechanical Wonder' (erstmalig seit 2001 wieder als LP erhältlich) kommt inkl. Tracks wie 'Up On The Downside', 'If I Gave You My Hear' und 'Mechanical Wonder', und ist eine Fortsetzung des beliebten Ocean Color Scene-Sounds. Den Abschluss bildet 'North Atlantic Drift', das zum ersten Mal seit seiner Erstveröffentlichung auch auf Vinyl erscheint. Alle drei enthaltenen Alben wurden in voller Abstimmung mit der Band von Phil Kinrade bei Alchemy Mastering gemastert. Sie erscheinen nun in den jeweiligen Farben Grün, Gelb und Rot in dieser formschönen und optisch ansprechenden Box.

Die dritte und letzte umfangreiche Box mit Audio-Abenteuern bei denen Tom Baker den Doktor gibt. Die zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl in limitierter Auflage veröffentlichte 10LP-Box enthält jeweils ein exklusives Porträt des vierten Doktors, welches von Tom Baker handsigniert ist. Limitiert auf nur 1.200 Exemplare weltweit und präsentiert auf 10 (!) abwechselnd schwarzen und grünen Vinyl-LPs. Das Audio-Abenteuer kommt mit Susan Jameson als Mrs Wibbsey und Richard Franklin als Mike Yates. Zu den Nebendarstellern gehören David Troughton, Michael Jayston, Simon Shepherd, Terrence Hardiman, Joanna David, Sophie Ward, Andrew Sachs und Nerys Hughes. Alle im Original-Sound begleitet vom bekannten Doctor Who-Thema aus dem BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
Die Box kommt mit 10 wunderschön individuell illustrierte LP-Hüllen mit Besetzung und Credits für jede der fünf Geschichten. Ein 16-seitiges, vollfarbiges Booklet enthält Liner Notes und Illustrationen des Doktors, die im Laufe dieser fünf Abenteuer entstanden sind.

Begleitend zu den 1973er T.Rex-Releases wird Demon Records die Singles aus 1973 als limitierte 7"-Picture mit hohem Sammlerwert herausgeben. Der Song '20th Century Boy', ursprünglich März 1973 veröffentlicht, erreichte in den UK # 3, kehrte aber im August 1991 in die britischen Top 20 zurück und erreichte nochmal # 13, nachdem er in einer TV-Werbung für Levi's mit Brad Pitt verwendet wurde.
