VNL Premounted

Expertly paired and premounted on our popular black SH-4 Headshell, the VNL Single cartridge is compatible with any standard DJ turntable and tonearm.
The quality of the SH-4 headshell is sturdy and rigid, with high quality tonearm terminal connections. One of the standout features of the VNL Premounted cartridge is its versatility. The universal mount fitting allows it to be used with a wide range of S-shaped tonearms, making it a great option for DJs who use multiple setups. The ergonomic design of the headshell includes a long finger lift that is easy to pick up and use, making it ideal for busy DJ sessions. And with its plug and play design, the VNL Premounted cartridge is ready to go right out of the box!

3 different feels to fine-tune your performance

To match the multiple applications of modern DJs, the VNL is interchangeable with 3 different styli with suspension types of varying feel and rigidity:
- Stylus VNL I compliance, dynamic lateral 16 μm/m N - Flexible
- Stylus VNL II compliance, dynamic lateral 15 μm/m N - Rigid
- Stylus VNL III compliance, dynamic lateral 14 μm/m N - Firm

DJs can easily identify which stylus type best suits their individual DJ style and enables their absolute best performance capability.

Die Wasserwaagen-Libelle aus transparentem Kunststoff ermöglicht eine perfekte Ausrichtung des Headshells, kann aber auch genutzt werden, um Plattenspieler & Co. auszubalancieren.

Ortofon cartridge alignment protractor

An alignment protractor is used to find the correct distance from stylus tip to tonearm pivot.

When aligning a cartridge for tangency using the alignment protractor, it is essential to remember that you are attempting to align the cantilever (and, hence, the stylus), not the cartridge body. There is no guarantee that the cantilever is perfectly aligned within the cartridge body, so simply aligning the cartridge body will not necessarily produce the desired result.

Furthermore, many cartridge bodies have non-parallel sides, making tangential alignment of the cartridge body with the lines of tangency on the gauge virtually impossible.

An alignment protractor is a plastic template onto which are printed the null point(s) and lines of tangency against which the cartridge should be aligned. The template is placed over the turntable's spindle (made possible via a spindle-sized hole drilled in the template) and placed against the platter.

Cartridge must be adjusted until the cantilever is parallel to the set of parallel lines. And this should be achieved for both the indicated points. When the cartridge's longitudinal axis is parallel with the horisontal lines, tracking error will be at a minimum.

Ortofon fibre brush for cleaning the stylus
Use Ortofon Stylus fiber brush a few times along the cantilever in the direction of the stylus tip, whenever you play a new record or change sides.

Use the brush in the forward direction from the rear of the cartridge towards the stylus tip and never from stylus tip to the rear of the cartridge and never from side to side. Following this treatment there will normally be no need for further stylus cleaning.

DS-3 is a new lightweight compact digital stylus pressure gauge model. The DS-3 is a miniature ultra precision non-magnetic instrument that tunes your tonearm to the highest possible degree. The DS-3 scale is factory pre-calibrated for high accuracy measurements with the tolerance of +/-0.01 g.

How to use the DS-3

• Turn on the device by pressing ON button. The display will show 0000.
• Press the UNIT button to select the measurement unit. The default setting is gram/g.
• Place the stylus on the measurement plate on the right side of the device. Display will start blinking. It will stop blinking when the measurement is completed. The value displayed on the screen is the stylus pressure.
• The display screen will automatically dim to saving mode after 5 seconds of inactivity and turn off after 60 seconds of inactivity.
• When a battery runs out, a LO indicator will flash on the screen. Then replace both batteries.
• PCS button balances count by calculating the average weight of one piece-weight called a unit weight, then applying it to the total weight of what you are trying to count. Firstly, weigh one PC, then weigh the bundle, then push the PCS button and on the display you’ll get a number of PCS.

Die Ersatznadel für das Concorde MKII Elite verfügt über ein speziell geformtes Gehäuse mit echter Goldbeschichtung. Umgeben von diesem Gold ist ein elliptisch nackter Diamant, der auf einem steifen Aluminium-Nadelträger montiert ist. Ein solcher elliptisch nackter Diamant wird normalerweise in HiFi-Tonabnehmern verwendet und liefert einen so kraftvollen und detaillierten Klang, dass seine Performance an ein Live-Konzert erinnert.

Dieser Diamant weist durch seine Bauweise als kompletter, nackter Diamantstift eine geringere bewegte Masse auf und sorgt damit für eine verbesserte und detailreiche Klangqualität.
