Ohio's O'Jays were a hugely popular part of Philadelphia's PIR stable throughout the 1970's and 80's.
They cut numerous sides for the label aided by the incredible production and arrangements of the infamous Gamble and Huff hit machine.

This special 4 track EP includes some of the absolute evergreen, stellar and downright soulful tracks they are most known for. It's all here. This is a fully legit reissue, made in conjunction with Above Board distribution and Sony music, sourced from their vaults using original source material and remastered and repressed to the highest standard for 2018 and featuring all original PIR label artwork.

Expansion Records and PIR have got together for a series of souvenir 7” single releases to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the iconic green label. There will be 500 pressed of each. Profile is huge around the PIR around the anniversary with PIR’s Kenny Gamble interviewed on Radio 2, Jazz FM, Smooth FM and in The Telegraph, Mojo, Blues & Soul and Manifesto. There’s also a “Philly 40” film being uploaded to social networks featuring interviews with Kenny Gamble and Tom Moulton around a series of commemorative releases. The 7” series focuses on the label’s most currently in vogue dance floor records and includes one previously unissued recording by The Jones Girls taken from the company’s Philadelphia vaults. Special PIR 40 logo and design will utilised for the label and 7” range sleeve for this collectors series. More to follow.

Returning to Metalheadz for the first time since 2010 we're delighted to have Seba grace the label with his 'Node 46' EP. The magical combo of Seba & Robert Manos head up the release with the Swedish producer also providing us with the dark and relentless title track on the other side. Two further digital bonus tracks complete an EP typical of Seba's incredibly unique style, one that he's so consistently built his reputation around.
