The third release in the Remastered series brings together material from across the S.B. Project catalogue. It features three tracks from The Primitive Streak, three tracks from Cultural Co-Operation, all presented with continuous locked-groove endings, alongside six lock grooves taken from The Primitive Streak Redefined. Recorded under Steve Bicknell’s S.B. Project pseudonym and originally released on Clubtracks between 1998 and 2002, these productions define a distinctive grey area between House and Techno—functional, stripped-back, and built for DJ use. After the success of the first two chapters, label owner Sciahri returns with the third installment of Pareidolia, further expanding the series' distinct sonic narrative.

The EP opens with No More Time, a perfect balance of power and finesse, where hypnotic vocal loops elevate the tension. It then transitions into Near the Bar, a groove-driven gem with refined textures that make it simply irresistible.

On the flip side, Two Letters follows up on the iconic One Letter, bringing back its unmistakable, heavy-hitting bassline and perfectly placed vocals that make it truly unique.

Closing the EP is Hit and Run, a deeply hypnotic yet driving cut, blending mental intensity and epic energy into a captivating sonic experience.

Smoove gets his hands on the Multitrack layers of an all time classic Blaxploitation tune and brings out the drum break to great effect while fusing epic orchestral breakdowns.

On the flip side Smoove reworks one of his favourite tunes by stripping it back to a vamp section and replacing the original drum machine with some alternative outtake drums!

Multitrack Reworks Volume 7 - This series sees The Temptations ‘Papa Was A Rolling Stone’ under Smoove's editing knife with extra crisp drums, deep vocal harmonies and glories orchestra breakdowns.

On the flip side is Rufus Thomas ‘Do the Funky Penguin’ with exposed drums and extended guitar riffs galore!As an extra bonus Smoove also drops his extended version of The Magic Disco Machine ‘Scratchin’ peeling back the layers to reveal a seriously funky bass line and pounding drums! Craig Charles has been fully supporting this release with regular plays on @BBC6 Music hailing it as “Smoove’s best Multitrack Rework yet!”

Steve Bicknell's releases on Lost recordings were produced for, and to reflect, theLost dance-floor, the legendary event series in London, which ran from 1991 to 2014.

'When Things Of The Spirit Come First' was originally released in 1997 on Lost recordings, a subsidiary of Cosmic Records. Lost recordings emerged in 1996 with two seminal releases from Steve Bicknell that year: Lost recordings 1 'Why? And For Whom? And Lost recordings 2 'How Can We Know?.
Steve Bicknell's productions continuously open the door to a whole new side of techno which is still to this day often emulated, cementing Steve Bicknell's landmark status.

Swin delights and surprises with this excellent EP featuring the anthemic “Stay At Home”. You could be forgiven for thinking that this record was produced by the leathery hands of a mature industry professional long-settled in the Ibizan sun, rather than by a friendly northern lad in Newcastle who vaguely remembers seeing sunshine when he was 6. Quality and range beyond his years - Swin is surely one to watch!
