Hot on the heels of 12bit Jungle Out There's 'Right Mind' EP, Foundations Records brings you the hotly anticipated follow-up from rising star Arkyn on 'The Spirit EP' Drawing influence from classic '93 era jungle techno on the likes of Basement Records, it's perhaps his most accomplished work to date in his first foray into all hardware production. Arkyn is a UK based DJ and Producer. His production is influenced from a wide range of music he grew up listening to including Reggae, Dub, Soul, Techno and Funk to name a few. After discovering rave music through the underground party scene in Northampton, he began to cut his teeth DJing and has since gone on to play at some of the most established Jungle/Hardcore events in the country including Distant Planet, The Rave Story and Calling The Hardcore among others. He also recently debuted at Fabric for Motive Hunter Audio's takeover. Arkyn has released on FFF's 3am Eternal, Billy Daniel Bunter's Music Mondays and Motive Hunter Audio to name a few. He also runs his own label TufStuf Records. FOUNDATIONS002 - Arkyn - The Spirit EP Four tracks of Hardcore Jungle Techno and 4x4 made with Akai S3000 XL sampler, Roland 909, Roland JV 1080, Korg 01/W FD and Roland D50.

After a brief hiatus from regular releasing (yet closely following the hit 36-tracker VA compilation), Motive Hunter Audio steps back into Jungles spotlight with The Pressure - EP from ARKYN, available on an ultra-sleek marble grey double-sided 12 vinyl, as well as all digital streaming platforms + Bandcamp.

The release thoroughly embodies a modern rendition of Hardcore Jungle Technos unmissable resurgence, yet matched with an evident ode to the genres roots. Piano-stabs-galore and 4x4 kicks guide you through two sides of controlled mayhem, the epitome of a club-ready release. ARKYN calls up SYNTAX & DJ B for collaborations, both effortlessly adding their touch sonically and also with the bonus of a closing track as his alter-alias DJ TUF - channelling his influence from the Dutch early rave scene.

Having already had support from artists at the top of their game, internationally and on the airwaves - there is no way of shying from the fact that these have been some of the most sought-after dubs in Modern Jungle.

DJ Sofa has been making waves with tunes on labels as Future Retro, Myor Massiv and Straight Up Breakbeat.

The A-side track "Dilemma" brings us excellent break editing in combination with melancholic strings and piano, whistling birds, digi dancehall basslines and a massiv reese. Smooooth and lovely vibes!

B-side is by TufStuf head honcho Arkyn. "Together" brings melancholic vibes with R&B vocal snippets combined with uplifting breaks builds up to a goosebumps inducing breakdown in true Arkyn fashion.

Foundations Records has landed! A brand new label from the Foundations Series camp. Last year saw their launching F-BOMBS Records, a UK Garage and Bass focused label with a mighty debut from Swankout on the Speed Garage EP. Foundations Records will be a home to Hardcore, Jungle and all things Rave inspired.

Vintage hardware junkie, 12bit Jungle Out There (aka Kris Buckle), dusts off the Amiga and the Akai to craft authentic 90s Jungle beats. The Aussie-based Brit boasts a rich musical history that began as the guitarist for Sunscreem, sharing stages with The Prodigy, and continued with a stint alongside Soulwax favorites, Soapstarter. As a session guitarist and musical director for singer-songwriter Liam Bailey, Kris honed his craft on international stages, gaining valuable experience and deepening his musical versatility while touring with drum & bass giants Chase & Status. Recently, he's been sharing his expertise in retro Jungle production through YouTube tutorials and actively contributing to Perth's Jungle/DnB community with the high-energy SUB/Stance events.

TufStuf Records is a Jungle, Hardcore & Jungle Techno vinyl and digital record label from London UK. Run by head honcho Arkyn. The sounds of the label are heavily influenced by the authentic 1992 - 1994 rave vibes. But have a modern and cutting edge take on the original energy of the early 90's. Expect raw and hard hitting drum breaks, low pressing sub bass and ravey and emotive synths.

With already some very experienced, talented and create producers signed to the label there is many exciting things to come. The second EP focuses hard and heavy amen Jungle with deep soundscapes, melodic vibes and emotive vocals with plenty of heavy basslines as well.
