Rival Schools's Found is a collection of rarities, demos and alternate takes of songs collected in the years following the release of their 2001 debut United By Fate. Initially released over ten years ago, the band has teamed up with Run For Cover Records for a limited reissue to release alongside the reissue of their 2011 album Pedals. Found features eleven songs that show the range of sounds the band tinkered with in the ten years between these albums - it's a must have for any fan of the band, available again on limited colour vinyl.

The 28th split of the series exudes a sweet perfume of raw energy and sweaty bodies banging in a feverished cellar. On the A-side, Switzerland-based duo Bound by Endogamy, coming from the punk scene, delivers three industrial-synth-rave-hardcore bombs that will definitely destroy your brain. On the B-side, italian producer Antonio Barbetta aka Raw Ambassador delivers two strong dark electroid cuts designed to heat up dancefloors around the globe. This is Acid Body Music, punks !

Top-rated West Coast garage sounds from the vaults of maverick genius Gary S Paxton. Acknowledged classics, tantalising obscurities and several previously unheard gems, all from the original master tapes, including tracks by Limey & The Yanks, The Avengers, The Whatt Four, The Buddhas_ among many others. Vintage garage rock is only one of the many tributaries of popular music that the maverick Gary S Paxton recorded and produced in his 1960s heyday, and compared to other genres, the off-kilter genius behind 'Alley Oop' and 'Monster Mash' was hardly prolific with it. But for a producer-engineer of his repute, it was inevitable that Paxton would cross paths with the sudden surge of teenaged rock groups that emerged in the wake of the British Invasion. We've gathered the best of them on "Lost Innocence", and for any aficionado of the genre, a treat is in store. As well as a brace of acknowledged Californian punk classics present and correct for the first time direct from master tape, this rockin' little disc also shares further booty from the Garpax vaults, including some obscurities well worthy of re-appraisal, along with completely unreleased nuggets of note. Counting among the well-known are the Avengers, Bakersfield's top dogs in the punk bracket thanks to snot-nosed missives such as 'I Told You So' and the controversial 'Be A Cave Man'. Ken & the Forth Dimension and Limey & the Yanks serve up the highly regarded items 'See If I Care' and 'Guaranteed Love' respectively, with a trio of ear-opening unissued tracks from the latter as a bonus. Riverside's Whatt Four weigh in with the popular ear-burners 'Our Love Should Last Forever' and 'You're Wishin' I Was Someone Else'. And the Buddhas' title cut is still the most eloquent ode to carnal knowledge in the entire 60s punk pantheon. Compiled by genre expert Alec Palao and originally released by Big Beat/ACE on CD only a few years back, it is now available on vinyl for the first time.

On my right, cult acid producer Roy of the Ravers, with some melancholic braindance and raw techno coming from his tormented acid jams. On my left, 707-addict Jerry LaFlim, with two disturbed tunes mixing funky electronica, dark breakbeat and groovy electro. From Melchester to Brighton, four heavy tracks for the 303 trainspotters !

For that new release, we will take you on a trip from the South to the North of Europe.

On the A-Side, Sardinia-based producer ProOne79, known for bomb tracks he released on labels such as Circus Recordings and Kneaded Pains, delivers two catchy acid tunes, influenced by the Chicago and Detroit classic sounds.

On the B-side, Glasgow-based producer Fear-E, head of the label Posh End Music and responsible of some killer EPs on Dark Entries, Zone or Super Rythm Trax, gives us three techno cuts for the floor, with a totally disturbed 303 synth.

Five sick tracks for you, acid junkies !

'Tema di Susie' is one of the main themes from the soundtrack composed by Alessandro Alessandroni for the 1976 Italian noir Sangue di sbirro, known in English as Blood and Bullets, as well as Knell, Bloody Avenger (the Susie in the original title refers to the female love interest of the film's hero, who is on a mission to seek revenge for the gangland murder of his policeman father).

At once sweet and sentimental, haunting and melancholic, 'Tema di Susie' stands out from the other tracks in the film, which are more action oriented. Like the rest of the score, however, it exemplifies the way in which, during the '70s, Italian film composers created their own version of the sound of American blaxploitation cinema, with its groovy blend of funk, jazz, and soul. It is no coincidence that the film's director, B-movie specialist Alfonso Brescia, specifically requested music in the style of Shaft, the iconic film that defined that sound in 1971.

Though seemingly simple, 'Tema di Susie' is a perfect example of Alessandroni's style – in particular his unique ability to effortlessly blend groove and melody, funk and feeling, into one musical piece. So, we invited different artists with different backgrounds, influences and approaches to bring their individual take on this elegant and now timeless tune.

Neapolitan duo Fratelli Malibu have taken Alessandroni's melodic theme and woven it into a mesmerizing tapestry of rhythmic beats, world percussion and ethereal atmospheres. Drawing inspiration from funk/Afrobeat, synth-pop and Italo-disco, they've conjured a psychedelic-tinged, afro-cosmic groove that's bound to transport you to another dimension.

As the music unfolds, you'll feel like you've stepped into a vibrant, fantasy world. The breaks, outro, and intro are woven with a psychedelic thread that leaves you yearning to return once the final note fades away. And that's not all – they've injected an irresistible pop sensibility into the track with the use of drum machines and synths. The result? A rework that not only amplifies the dreaminess of the original but also seamlessly marries the past with the future.

We love the track so much that we decided to double the fun with a vocal retouch version, courtesy of the Italian funk/soul collective Banda Maje. Their vocalists, Chiara Della Monica and Cristina Cafiero, elegantly infuse cinematic and Balearic vibes into the mix, paying a wonderful homage to Fratelli Malibu's exquisite arrangement.

The Avengers remains one of the great institutions of British television, a landmark series and the epitome of the swinging 60s.

For the 25th release of the series, we welcome two Tripalium Corp regulars, two brigeheads of the french techno scene, two producers who have both released several EPs on the label (but never on our Acid Avengers series) : 14anger and Cuften. From melancolic rave to 90s industrial hardcore, here is a 4-tracks-EP with dissonant acid lines and powerful basses that are gonna kick your ass!

In the late '70s, The Avengers established themselves as one of the US's preeminent punk bands. Fusing incisive guitar hooks, explosive rhythms and adolescent venom, the group forged some of the most in-your-face songs of the era. Their live shows were legendary, playing up and down the West Coast and even blowing Sex Pistols off the stage at the latter's final performance.

As Byron Coley writes in the liner notes, "Of the best bands of San Francisco's first wave in 1977, The Avengers were by far the coolest and youngest sounding. They roared without irony, as though this were indeed Year Zero (and, for a moment, it was) with history being overwritten by the new. The honesty of their belief was carried by their sound. And it was convincing!"

Originally released in 1983, four years after the band's dissolution, The Avengers' self-titled LP is often referred to as "The Pink Album" for its magenta-hued cover design. Frontwoman Penelope Houston's iconic voice and razor-sharp lyrics resonate on anthems "We Are The One" and "The American In Me," while penetrating ballads like "Corpus Christi" reveal a truly out-of-body euphony.

The Pink Album remains The Avengers' definitive statement - collecting their classic Dangerhouse EP, sessions recorded with the Pistols' Steve Jones and a half-dozen revelatory demos. While much has been written about The Avengers in the past three decades, rock critic Greil Marcus puts it succinctly, "The word I always come back to is mystical, and that remains almost theirs alone."

Die Neuauflage enthält neben dem regulären Album, die Titel der damaligen EP "Extended Power" und etliche unveröffentlichte Bonus-Titel, die aus der Aufnahme-Session des Albums stammen. Ein absolutes Muss für alle RAGE-Heads!

Robb Weir ist nie ein Mann, der das, was er hat, als selbstverständlich ansieht. Nachdem er die TYGERS OF PAN TANG seit ihrem ersten Album durch eine Reihe von Besetzungswechseln geführt hat, weiß er, dass die aktuellen Tygers wahrscheinlich die stärksten sind, seit sie an der Spitze der NWOBHM standen. Weir, der stets optimistisch war, gründete eine neue Version der Band, um sowohl das alte Material zu spielen als auch Songs zu schreiben, die diese "neuen" Tygers repräsentieren sollten. Das Rückgrat der Band - Craig Ellis am Schlagzeug und Jack Meille am Gesang - sind nun schon wesentlich länger zusammen als die ersten Tygers und wurden kürzlich durch Francesco Marras an der Gitarre und Huw Holding am Bass ergänzt.

Francesco kam über Solo- und Session-Arbeiten, die ihn zu einem gefragten Gitarristen gemacht haben, und Huw hat bereits mit
NWOBHM-Bands wie Blitzkrieg, Avenger und Holosade gearbeitet. Jetzt ist die Band bereit für die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums "Bloodlines".

Das Album wurde komplett von den Musikern der aktuellen Besetzung aufgenommen und ist eine Tour de Force dessen, was die NWOBHM zu einer solch starken Kraft in der Musik machte. Die Songs, die alle aus eigener Feder stammen, zeigen erfolgreich, wie gut der Kern von Weir, Meille und Ellis mit den neuen Jungs harmoniert hat. Der neue dänische Produzent Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Moonspell, Sick Of It All) hat dem traditionellen Tygers-Sound eine zeitgemäße Note verliehen und sich sofort mit der Band angefreundet, da er genau erkannt hat, wonach sie gesucht hat.
Der melodische Gesang und die vorbildlichen Gitarrensoli sorgen dafür, dass die Songs mit den besten Songs aus ihrem Backkatalog mithalten können.
