Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary returns to the Outlander universe for another score, this time for the spin-off Blood of my Blood.

This next chapter in the time traveller’s saga premiered in August 2025 and serves as a prequel to the critically acclaimed Outlander series.

Outlander: Blood of my Blood is available as a limited edition on translucent red coloured vinyl and includes an insert.

Upon release in 1971, Africa’s Blood was the first record Lee “Scratch” Perry released under his own name, although his band
The Upsetters do appear on most of the tracks. If any album serves as a good peak into what was happening in Jamaican music

in the early 70s, Africa’s Blood is the way to go.

A limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies of this reissue will be pressed on purple coloured vinyl,
which makes the record look as vibrant as it sounds.

I Want Blood is the new solo album from Alice In Chains guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell. Co-produced by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens of the Stone Age), the album has an energy that rivals any of Cantrell’s previous work – powerful, nuanced, and electric. It features Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES), Robert Trujillo (METALLICA), Gil Sharone (TEAM SLEEP, STOLEN BABIES), Mike Bordin (FAITH NO MORE) and backing vocals from Lola Colette and Greg Puciato (BETTER LOVERS, ex-THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN). Ken Boothe released his album Blood Brothers in 1976 but was picked up by Trojan Records two years later to be distributed internationally. The album features some of his more laid-back and mellow style, as can be heard on “Walk Away From Love”, “Mamy Blue” and “Love Don’t Love Nobody”. Blood Brothers also features several cover versions of Bob Marley Classics, including “No Woman No Cry” and “I Shot The Sheriff”.

Das neue Album der französischen Reggae-Legende Big Red, eine Hälfte des Duos Raggasonic, ist ein Trip in die Welt der Soundsysteme und des modernen Dub, ein gekonntes Navigieren zwischen Roots-Reggae und heutiger Bassmusik. Begleitet wird er von der jungen Generation französischer Dub/Reggae-Produzenten wie OnDubGround (ODG), Little Lion Sound, Radikal Vibration, Bisou Dub, Irie Ites und DJ Absurd, die den Tracks ihre eigene Note verleihen. Mit seinem unnachahmlichen Flow befasst sich Big Red mit sozial engagierten Themen wie institutionellen Rassismus, Polizeigewalt und die Exzesse unserer Gesellschaft.

One look at the axe-wielding marauder (drawn by famed heavy metal illustrator Edward Repka) on the front of this album and you know it’s not for the faint of heart. Canadian metal band 3 Inches of Blood’s musical attack (an appropriate term indeed) featured a unique, dual lead vocal line-up of Cam Pipes on “clean” vocals and Jamie Hooper on “screaming” vocals, with bludgeoning guitars (okay, axes) provided by Sunny Dhak and Bobby Froese (Dhak, Froese, and drummer Matt Wood left after this album to form Pride Tiger). Though this record came out in 2004 on the Roadrunner label, it wears its ‘80s metal allegiances on its sleeve, harkening back to the vein-popping intensity of vintage Judas Priest and Accept. Remastered on its 20th anniversary for an orange and black “ashen dawn” vinyl pressing, with a full-color inner sleeve sporting lyrics. Storm the castle!

How could Canadian heavy metal band 3 Inches of Blood dial up the intensity even more after their 2004 masterpiece Advance and Vanquish? Well, by bringing in Slipknot drummer Jordy Jordison to produce their next record, and adding a new instrumental line-up of former Allfather lead guitarist Justin Hagberg and former Walls of Jericho drummer Alexei Rodriguez to the band’s unique dual vocalist assault of Cam Pipes on “clean” vocals and Jamie Hooper on “scream” vocals. The result was 2007’s Fire Up the Blades, which, as Hooper put it, was “a faster, more intense version of us.” Which means that albums don’t get any faster and more intense than this one; that the epic lyrics are good enough to have been penned by George R.R. Martin of Game of Thrones fame is just a bonus. Speaking of bonus, for the vinyl debut of Fire Up the Blades (and after consulting the band) we’ve upped the stakes with a 2-LP release featuring an entire side of extra tracks that were released right around the time the album was, including their cover of the Lucifer’s Friend song “In the Time of Job When Mammon Was a Yippie.” All pressed in “Crimson Fire” vinyl housed inside a gatefold jacket with lyrics…limited to 1250 ferocious copies!

Die Veteranen der NWOBHM, die Tygers, feiern derzeit ihr achtjähriges Bestehen bei Mighty Music. In dieser Zeit haben sie drei gut aufgenommene neue Alben veröffentlicht, von denen das letzte, "Bloodlines", im Jahr 2023 von der Kritik durchweg positiv aufgenommen wurde. Die Band, mit Gitarrist Robb Weir an der Spitze, zusammen mit den langjährigen Mitgliedern Jack Meille (Gesang) und Craig Ellis (Schlagzeug), hat für "Bloodlines" zwei neue Mitglieder aufgenommen: Gitarrist Francesco Marras und Bassist Huw Holding. "Live Blood" enthält Material aus der gesamten Bandkarriere, darunter Songs aus den ersten vier Alben bei MCA Records sowie aus den letzten vier Alben mit neuem Material. Jack Meille kommentiert: "Nach all der Zeit mit den Tygers ein Live-Album aufzunehmen? Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich das erleben würde, aber mit den Tygers Of Pan Tang habe ich gelernt, dass das "Unmögliche" möglich ist. Die Aufnahmen wurden im Sommer 2023 im The Patriot in Wales (UK) gemacht und werden als Einzel-CD und als Doppel-Vinyl mit zusätzlichen Tracks erscheinen. Vor dem Album werden zwei Singles veröffentlicht: der Live-Favorit "Gangland" von ihrem legendären "Spellbound"-Album und das versteckte Juwel "Keeping Me Alive" von "Ambush".

"2022 marks a year of celebration for Roxy Music. Throughout the year, each of their eight studio albums, all heralded as modern classics, will be reissued as special anniversary editions with a new half-speed cut, revised artwork and a deluxe gloss laminated finish. In addition, Roxy Music will tour for the first time in more than a decade to mark the 50th year since their groundbreaking debut album.

In May 1980 Flesh and Blood gave Roxy Music their second No’1 UK Album and peaked at No’35 in the US Billboard chart. The album was preceded by the single “Over You”, a No. 5 UK hit that also provided the band with a rare US chart entry at No’ 80. Two more hit singles followed: “Oh Yeah” (UK No’5) and “Same Old Scene” (UK No’12). Flesh and Blood also included two cover versions: The Byrds’ “Eight Miles High” and Wilson Pickett’s “In the Midnight Hour”. The albums artwork was envisaged and designed by iconic British artist Peter Saville. Each Roxy Music album has been Re-Issued with a fresh Half-Speed cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. London. To reflect the audio, all eight of the Roxy Music studio albums have had their artwork revised and with a gloss laminated finish so that each album is not just a record it’s a piece of art."

Wiseblood is one of the most well-known Corrosion of Conformity albums and was released in 1996 as the fifth studio album by the American heavy metal band. The album charted on the Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and peaked at #104. The history of Corrosion of Conformity in modern heavy music is highly significant, not least due to guitarist Pepper Keenan’s formation of all-star project Down, along with Pantera’s Philip Anselmo and members of Crowbar.

Wiseblood includes the tracks “Drowning in a Daydream”, which was nominated for Best Metal Performance at the 40th Grammy Awards, and “Man Or Ash”, on which Metallica’s James Hetfield provides backing vocals.

Wiseblood is available on black vinyl.

For this one, Jack and Meg decamped to Memphis to record at the legendary Easley-McCain Studio and walked away with a bonafide classic. Unique for a White Stripes album, as it contains no covers, no guest musicians, no blues and no guitar solos, this album would be most of the world's introduction to the band.

While the video for "Fell In Love With A Girl" could've single-handedly raised the price of LEGO stock the other jams on here are momentous, from the fuzz distorted clarion call of album opener "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" to the finger-pointing accusations of "I Think I Smell A Rat" this album has everything you could ever want from the Detroit duo.

Cut directly from the original 1/4" master tapes, pressed on HEAVY 180-gram vinyl and lovingly ensconced in a beauteous Stoughton tip-on jacket...this album has never looked better, and perhaps, has looked markedly worse.
