Nikaido Kazumi’s acclaimed and enduring masterpiece "Nijimi", originally released in 2011, returns on vinyl. The album eventually led to her performing
the theme song “Inochi no Kioku” for Studio Ghibli’s The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. Filled with songs capturing her heartfelt emotions and charm—such
as “Onna wa Tsurai yo” and “Totsutotsu I Love You”—this is a truly precious record.

Apollo Records proudly present the vinyl reissue of ‘Morning Light’, the acclaimed 1997 album from Mark Van Hoen’s Locust project; a work that blurred the boundaries between ambient electronics, trip-hop, and dream-pop with an emotional precision few have matched since.

Originally issued during the label’s pioneering late-’90s era, ‘Morning Light’ marked a bold evolution for Van Hoen, best known at the time for his dark, abstract ambient work under Locust and as a member of Seefeel. Seeking to create something more human and melodic, Van Hoen assembled a rotating cast of collaborators, including Zoe Niblett, Craig Bethell, Neil Halstead (Slowdive/Mojave 3), and Wendy Roberts, blending fractured dance rhythms, live instrumentation, and intimate vocal performances into something both deeply personal and effortlessly cinematic.

From the haunting reimagining of The Carpenters’ ‘No-One In The World’ to the slow blooming emotional arcs of ‘All Your Own Way,’ ‘Folie’, and ‘The Girl With The Fairytale Dream’, the album’s 13 tracks form a widescreen narrative of melancholy and beauty. Reviewers at the time hailed it as “a subtle delight” and “sheer God-given genius”, comparing its mood and texture to Massive Attack, This Mortal Coil, and Portishead, yet noting its entirely singular voice.

This reissue restores Morning Light to vinyl for the first time in over two decades. A crucial artefact from the fertile intersection of experimental electronica and ethereal pop, ‘Morning Light’ stands today as one of the label’s most quietly influential releases.

Wie schon beim Original, an dem unter anderem Radiohead, Oasis, Portishead, The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack und Blur beteiligt waren, bringt auch HELP(2) Menschen zusammen, um die lebenswichtige Arbeit von War Child zu unterstützen: schnelle Nothilfe, Bildungsangebote, spezialisierte psychosoziale Betreuung sowie Schutz für Kinder, die weltweit von Krieg und Konflikten betroffen sind. Das Album macht auf den dramatischen Umstand aufmerksam, dass heute jedes fünfte Kind auf der Welt in einem Kriegsgebiet lebt. Entstanden ist das neue Album während einer außergewöhnlichen Aufnahmewoche im November 2025 in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Abbey Road Studios. Als Executive Producer fungierte der vielfach ausgezeichnete Produzent James Ford. Hailing from Chicago his love affair with muzik started in the late 70’s early 80’s, listening to muzik on the radio combined with his mom and dad playing their records every weekend. In the early 80’s on the South side of Chicago, he started hearing something a bit different, what they called ‘house muzik’. A combination of Disco, Jazz, Soul Funk, New Wave and Italo Disco. Here Rahaan digs deep into his impressive record collection that he has collected, built up and crafted over his many years of travelling, networking and DJin to showcase 22 of his finest and rarest cuts. Many of the tracks on the album would cost hundreds and that’s if you were even able to find the originals! As always with ZR compilations a lot of time and effort has been spent on creating these masters from the original vinyl, cleaning them up, removing all the clicks and pops resulting in the cleanest sounding copy possible.

After a decade away from new music, Jill Scott returns with To Whom This May Concern, a soul-stirring body of work rich with texture, rhythm, and emotional truth. Der Film Marty Supreme ist eine Abenteuerkomödie von Josh Safdie aus dem Jahr 2025 und ist lose vom Leben Marty Reismans inspiriert, die in den 1950er-Jahren spielende Geschichte ist jedoch fiktiv. Die Hauptrolle des titelgebenden Tischtennisspielers übernahm Timothée Chalamet. Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A'zion, Kevin O'Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara und Fran Drescher ergänzten das Schauspielensemble. Marty Supreme ist der erste Film von Josh Safdie nach Beendigung der kreativen Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Bruder Benny. Das Werk wurde Anfang Oktober 2025 im Rahmen des New York Film Festivals uraufgeführt. Der US-Kinostart war an Weihnachten 2025. Ende Februar 2026 soll der Film in die deutschen Kinos kommen. Die Filmmusik von Daniel Lopatin wurde im Jahr 2025 für einen Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) nominiert. Im Rahmen der Critics' Choice Movie Awards 2026 wurde Marty Supreme in die Shortlists für die Kategorien Casting & Ensemble", Szenenbild", Kamera", Kostüme", Filmschnitt" und Filmmusik" aufgenommen. This new volume in the “City Music Tokyo” series, curated by Kunimond Takiguchi (Ryusenkei), focuses on Jazz Funk. From among crossover, Japanese jazz,
and soundtrack works released by Nippon Columbia, Takiguchi has carefully selected urban and sophisticated tracks that resonate with his musical sensibility.

Each piece carries a faint scent of the Showa era, evoking words like “night,” “drive,” “dandyism,” “car chase,” “city,” “hard-boiled,” and “man and woman.”

Released in February 2002 on PlayStation 2, Xenosaga Episode I marked the beginning of an unforgettable video game saga created by Tetsuya Takahashi, accompanied by a majestic soundtrack composed by Yasunori Mitsuda.

The latter is still considered an essential milestone in video game music. We wanted to pay tribute to these cult classics with Across the Kosmos ~ Xenosaga Piano Collection and Jazz in Kosmos, two albums of officially licensed arrangements featuring the best tracks from the game.



This album was created in collaboration with some of the most talented figures in Japanese video game music. It includes 17 piano tracks arranged by Mariam Abounnasr, Akio Noguchi, Hiroyuki Nakayama, and Benyamin Nuss, carefully recorded on a Steinway D Grand Piano.
