The complete album + 5 bonus tracks - limited edition pressing on 180g vinyl American piano player and composer Martin Denny developed a new musical genre in the mid-'50s by combining lounge jazz, Hawaiian music, Latin rhythms, bird calls, and ethnic instruments from around the world (such as koto, gamelans, Burmese temple bells) into a sound that became known as Exotica. Best known as the "Father of Exotica," Martin Denny was responsible for the genre's biggest hit of all time with his 1956 single version of Les Baxter's 'Quiet Village', the title of the album presented here, and with the single included as a bonus track.

Anathema formed in Liverpool in 1990, initially under the name of Pagan Angel & grew from a heavy doom/death metal style act into a more progressive & melodic group, blending rock elements with strong atmospherics inspired by classic acts such as Pink Floyd & Radiohead. The band signed with Peaceville Records after recording the 'All Faith Is Lost' demo in 1991, & is known for being part of the hallowed Peaceville doom metal trinity in the early 1990's (alongside fellow UK bands Paradise Lost & My Dying Bride), with some highly influential releases in the early part of their long, esteemed career. 'Pentecost III' was released in early 1995 & was recorded at the infamous Academy Studios in Yorkshire UK (My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost). 'Pentecost III' featured classic heavy & often hypnotic doom metal, as well as a reworking/rerecording of the 'Memento Mori' track from the 'Iliad of Woes' demo.

During the 1950s, Tito Puente was at the height of his popularity and helped to bring Afro-Cuban and Caribbean sounds, like mambo, son, and chacha-cha, to mainstream audiences. Dance Mania, probably his most celebrated album, features the great Ray Barretto on congas. It was added to the National Recording Registry in 2002 and is listed among the "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die". Includes the bonus tracks 'Oye Como Va', 'Mambo Gil' and 'Cha-Cha-Gua'.

Individually, each one is known as a first-call player capable of handling any type of musical situation, and their personal credits are simply too long to list. They've collaborated on a wide range of projects and session work, including recent live, recording, and touring work with jazz-funk globetrotters Incognito and the American guitarist Robben Ford. Every now and again, their packed schedules permit them to take time out to make their own music, drawing on their shared love of the Latin jazz tradition, and whenever this happens, they're collectively known as TRYPL. Recently, they've found themselves with some rarely shared downtime and the opportunity to commandeer the capacious Big Jelly Studios.

The next step was to assemble the tunes and contact their favorite singers and players, including pianists Alex Wilson and Ross Stanley, guitarist Giorgio Serci, bassists Javier Fioramonti and Davide Mantovani, and Roberto Pla, Edwin Sanz and Davide Giovannini on percussion, with newcomer Sophie Stevenson on voice and vibraphone. Family and friends dropped round to provide an informal in-studio audience. Drawing inspiration from their shared love of the classic salsa sound pioneered by Fania Records in 1970s New York, given a twist by their own individual musical personalities, they've created Phantasticus - an album of joyously uplifting music that distils all the conviviality and good humor with which it was created into a heady yet feel-good brew. It's the perfect antidote to our nervous, fragmented times.

No one can say Jim Keller hasn't been busy - Since his last European shows in 2023, he's recorded and released two albums, 2024's Daylight and 2025's End of the World - He's toured the United States - And while he intends to get back to Europe this year, he's first giving his fans a treat: Vinylly!, a collection of his greatest hits that will only be available in Europe, for Record Store Day 2026 The record includes a dozen songs spanning the six albums of his late- career renaissance, four decades after he and his band, Tommy Tutone, topped the charts with "867-5309/Jenny." Born and raised in New Jersey, Keller found fame after moving to San Francisco, where he launched Tommy Tutone in the late 1970s.

Despite their meteoric rise, the band was short- lived, and Keller soon found himself in the proverbial wilderness, struggling to make ends meet until he talked his way into a job with famed composer Philip Glass. For the next 25 years, Keller would go on to run Glass's publishing company, eventually managing his career outright in addition to working with luminaries like Tom Waits, Ravi Shankar, and Rufus Wainwright.

Written, rehearsed and recorded in Los Angeles during the collapse of the global order and the devaluation of American democracy, Songs You'll Never Hear portrays a self-destructive world in 8-lavishly produced songs Richly orchestrated arrangements contrast with the hauntingly desperate subject matter. While the world comes apart at the seams, Vanderwolf 's songwriting, production and vocals have never been so defiantly together.

After his EP Mission, released in 2021 and awarded “Revelation of the Year” at the Victoires du Reggae, Jahnaton returns with an ambitious second album titled I’ll Go (J’irai), in collaboration with Evidence Music. When The Lights Gone is the new Album from Nostalgia 77. A set of simple songs in primary colours it explores Lamdin’s familiar themes of memory, time, truth and identity. After a hiatus of several years from releasing personal work Producer Benedic Lamdin has two albums set for release this year of which ‘When The Lights Gone’ is the first. When The Lights Gone renews Lamdin’s partnership with Berlin based singer Yosa. Her tracks with Nostalgia 77 are some of their most popular with 30 plus million streams. “It was great to reconnect with Yosa after years not working together. She was about to start a family in Berlin and it seemed like the perfect time to try and pick up - to catch something before that new phase began. “Becoming immersed in family life is such an all encompassing experience It’s sometimes dreamlike in its own way. I think this record has something of that - it is naive and childlike in certain ways itself.” This album is a private press release on Lamdin's new label but publishing a press support is provided by Tru Thoughts.

Glamgoth? Dark Electro? Industrial Cyberfunk? DEAD LIGHTS was founded in 2020, at the start of the Covid19 pandemic, forcing the international musician / producers duo (UK and NL) to work on all their output from a distance. Disguised as dark, sleazy electropop, Saul and Richard create their own personal blend of monumental synth bass lines and gritty sounds, elaborate vocal arrangements and brutal, dance-orientated beats. This reissue marks the creation of Silver Apples Foundation, which is both a non profit organisation and new imprint whose mission is to honour the legacy wishes of Simeon Coxe to preserve the memory of Silver Apples by promoting electronic music and the setting up of an electronic music scholarship fund. This release will be followed later in the year with the long awaited Silver Apples biography, ‘Electronic Evocations', by music journalist and writer Kris Needs. This version of Oscillations was the last ever recording by Simeon at his ChickenCoop studio in Fairhope Alabama in 2019 and captures how he liked to play it live. Backed with the late Andrew Weatherall's remix of The Edge of Wonder, taken from Silver Apples last ever album Clinging to a Dream. The sleeve art features an Oscillator drawn by Simeon in 2014, while the back cover uses the original Silver Apples logo. But to make this release extra special it comes with a Silver Apples slipmat, featuring the iconic Apples logo
