Jeweils enthalten sind sieben unveröffentlichte Songs gemischt von Paul Humphreys. Darunter zwei Demos,
ein Alternative Mix und vier Songs, die bisher noch nie auf einem physischen Album oder digital erschienen
sind. Dazu kommt ein Booklet mit seltenen Fotos und Anmerkungen zum Album aus einem Gespräch
zwischen dem Journalisten und Autor Jason Draper und Andy McCluskey.

Perhaps it was a cold winter day or a warm summer night in Finland - but it was around 2010. Someone came up with an idea to combine bluegrass, Finnish folk and rock/metal music. The outcome was and has since been Steve 'n' Seagulls. The kind of band you've never heard before but you do want to hear again. Hailing from Finland in Northern Europe - this flock of musical energy keeps on going and flying faster than ever. In 2025, the sun will lay its rays on the long-awaited fifth Steve 'n' Seagulls album - The Dark Side of the Moo! Recorded and produced with the same crew as the previous one, Steve 'n' Seagulls have again found and torn down the limits of progressive bluegrass and newgrass. The album combines elements from genres that are hard to imagine together. Yet they meet and shake hands like old friends. Steve 'n' Seagulls' originals and some re-arranged classics form yet another interesting musical soup ready to be served on their The Dark Side of the Moo -tour around Europe in 2025.

Although it had a very troubled birth, all detailed in the liner notes included with those different versions here, CRADLE OF FILTH almost-album-length 1996 EP V Empire, Or Dark Faerytales In Phallustein proved to be a superb triumph over adversity.

Despite all their legal problems, line-up changes and insane pressure after the gigantic success of their debut album, the Brits nevertheless managed to write and record a slab of new even grander songs, next to a new version of the already classic ‘The Forest Whispers My Name’, some would argue even bettering their debut in the process.

Another undeniable 90s symphonic black metal masterpiece, available again for the first time officially since 2017!

Nach einem Album, das weithin als eine der besten Veröffentlichungen von 2024 gilt, präsentieren CRYPT SERMON aus Philadelphia Saturnian Appendices. Die EP ist eine Sammlung von B-Seiten aus den The Stygian Rose-Album-Sessions und bietet einen tieferen Einblick in die Psyche hinter der Geschichte und erweitert den Bogen des Vorgängers um eine dunklere, introspektivere Linse.

"Vom Konzept her beleuchten die neuen Tracks "Only Ash and Dust" und "A Fool to a Believe" die verschatteten Gedanken des Erzählers aus "The Stygian Rose" und erweitern die Spannungen, die entstehen, wenn man sich mit den Konflikten zwischen Orthodoxie und Okkultismus auseinandersetzt", erklärt Sänger Brooks Wilson.

Klanglich ist "Saturnian Appendices" fest in dem für die Band typischen doomigen, dunklen Heavy Metal-Sound verwurzelt. Grandiose Melodien umhüllen eine zermalmende Salve monolithischer Riffs und sorgen für eine beeindruckende und epische Performance. Mit drei brandneuen Original-Tracks und einer transzendentalen Überarbeitung von Mayhems "De Mysteriis Doom Sathanas" (erstmals als Teil der Flexi-Disc-Reihe des Decibel Magazine zu hören) bietet Saturnian Appendices den Fans ein fesselndes Erlebnis voller Erhabenheit und philosophischer Unruhe.

Rotterdam-based Robin Kester"s music thrives in moments of quiet unease. Following her 2020 mini-album "This Is Not A Democracy", Kester was lauded for her stirring blend of chamber pop and psychedelia for her debut album "Honeycomb Shades" (2023) which was named Dutch album of the year by newspapers NRC and de Volkskrant. Now, Kester returns with second album "Dark Sky Reserve" via Memphis Industries; a soundtrack to all the thoughts that bubble to the surface once the silence sinks in. "Dark Sky Reserve" is Kester"s most artistically focused record to date, combining a rich, layered humanity in the music with minimalist lyricism. With the help of producer Ali Chant and a variety of other collaborators including Adrian Utley (Portishead) and Rozi Plain, Kester balances scenes of idyllic bliss from the "magical and strange" "Talybont-on-Usk" with existential questions on "Departure".
