First coming to prominence purely as a drum & bass artist, with the likes of Metalheadz, Digital's Function and Klute's Commercial Suicide labels all over his material, veteran Slough producer Amit has, in more recent years, spread his stylistic base via his Amar label to take in deep dubstep and a touch of acid as well as ruffneck junglist behaviour. This 12", his first for more than five years, is heavyweight dub business, with echo chambers set to maximum dubbage and shuddering sub causing potential structural damage to all but the sturdiest buildings in a five mile radius. 'Dem Rude', with its gunshots and sonic soup, takes the A-side, while the flip tune 'Hush Up' marries more aural abstractions with another stepping rhythm, the hi hats fizzing and sizzling like they're encased in a deep fat fryer. Great to have this vastly underrated underground trooper back in the ranks - and well worth the wait.

The fifth installment in Roots Run Deep comes from the album, No Happiness Without Sadness. “Run Dem Mouth” was originally released in 2023 on Ruff Neck Records / Ruff Neck HiFi.

The vinyl release includes the version on the B side.

On the B side we find a fierce original jungle version with those Amen drums hitting bang on.

On the B-side, there will be a binaural 16.7-tone music composition from the year 2047. Furthermore, all recordings must be mastered by Mike Grinser. Last but not least, only high-quality chrome tape may be used for production. In August 2027, the music magazine Melody Maker, which will be published again from 2026, will write: " ' Vor dem Punkt ist nach dem Punkt' is a surprisingly singular work with a creative force of near-unprecedented degree. The tune entitled 'Smite Dem' is a fully self-produced release that we had made entirely in a remote collaboration style between both our own studios (Selah Dub Studio & Blak Nile Studio) where we had both decided on doing 2 different grooves on the project after initially working tirelessly on the original one drop groove version (which you can hear mixed on the first 2 mixes of the record). This is what set the way for inspirations with the dubs to let loose after one morning waking up and messaging Mali together a serious warrior style steppas pattern for the project. He did that without fail as that being his forte. At this stage it then led us to both be very ecstatic with the outcome of the creation at hand.

Land vor unserer Zeit. Keine Nostalgie Show, sondern Pflege eines hochwertigen Kulturerbes. Ein opulentes klangliches Erlebnis mit zwei Sängern,
zwei Klavieren, Saxophon, Gitarre. Lieder von Lift, Karat, Biege, Bartzsch, Bicking und Lakomy. Sänger und Pianist Manuel Schmid sorgt auch mit
eigenen Alben in der deutschsprachigen Musikszene für Aufsehen und hat 2024 mit der EP „Die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra“ die Stern-Combo Meißen
wieder in aller Munde gebracht. Saxophonist Marek Arnold ist in der internationalen Progressive-Rock Szene längst eine feste Größe und hat
gemeinsame Alben mit Steve Hackett (GENESIS), Jon Anderson (YES) oder Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER) veröffentlicht. Das vorliegende
Konzertmitschnitt wurde von ihm bearbeitet und gemixt. Sänger Dirk Zöllner und der Pianist André Gensicke arbeiten seit November 1987 zusammen
und gründeten im Juni 1988 ihre Bigband „Die Zöllner“. Sechzehn Alben erschienen in den vergangenen 35 Jahren. Zöllner veröffentlichte außerdem
vier Bücher und engagiert sich als Kolumnist der „Freien Presse“ für einen friedvollen gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt. Das Raue und das Weiche,
das Improvisierte und das Klare – schon mehrfach kam es zur Symbiose der sehr unterschiedlichen Stimmen von Dirk Zöllner und Manuel Schmid. In
Zeiten von Corona veröffentlichten die beiden ein Wohnzimmerkonzert mit besagtem Liedgut. 2024 wurde die Symbiose nun live erlebbar und als
Mitschnittfestgehalten.

TOD DEM DIKTATOR ist das flammende zweite Album des Berliner Trios, hervorgegangen aus der Asche der Punkband Grow Grow, das mit seiner explosiven Mischung aus Anti-Corporate-Punk, dystopischem Indie, (Post-)Hardcore und Post-Punk vollends überzeugt. Die drei Protagonisten kreieren darauf einen Sound der aus seinen wohl überlegten Worten und fein beobachteten Gegebenheiten einen Orkan aus emotional aufgeladener Empörung freisetzt. Herausgeschriene Wut, angeheizt vom Verlangen nach einem systematischen Wandel, unterlegt von ruppigen, noisigen Passagen, die durch die melodiöse und besonnene Liedführung kolossal an Relevanz gewinnen. All das erinnert nicht zuletzt an Bands wie Turbostaat, Oma Hans, Hot Snakes, Meat Wave und Pissed Jeans, ist aber so viel mehr.

Sedlmeirs digitaler EP-Zweiteiler aus 2024 kommt nun endlich als Vinyl-Platte. "Befehl aus dem Weltraum I & II" enthält darüber hinaus zweieinhalb 2025er Bonustracks. Emotional wie nie präsentiert Sedlmeir hier wieder stahlharte Chansons und zarteste Punkrock-Unterhaltung. E-Gitarre, E-Drums und E-Rock"n"Roll bilden das knisternde Fundament für Sedlmeirs Beobachtungen, oft herzerwärmend zynisch, immer präsent und echt.
