Castle Rat ist die NY Fantasy-Heavy-Metal-Band, die von der Rat Queen angeführt wird, welche die Mission verfolgt, ihr Refugium gegen diejenigen zu verteidigen, die es zerstören wollen. Ihr zur Seite stehen The Count, The Plague Doctor und The All-Seeing Druid. Gemeinsam stellen sie sich mit Heavy Magie dem unerbittlichen Zorn ihrer Erzfeindin - dem Tod in Form von The Rat Reaperess. Das zweite Album The Bestiary ist ein riffgeladenes Kompendium mystischer Kreaturen und vorwarnender Erzählungen aus einer vergessenen Welt. Es erzählt 13 allegorische Geschichten von mythischen Bestien und dem Zauberer, der sie beschwört, und verwebt kraftvolle Heavy-Hymnen und dunkle Verzückungen zu einer betörenden und unvergesslichen Heavy-Metal-Odyssee. Als ob Grace Slick mit Black Sabbath um ca. 1200 A.D. auf einem KISS-Konzert rumachen würde. Last Retch is a death metal band hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Your favourite parts of OSDM - The earworms of Carcass, the driving melodic force of Bolt Thrower, and the sheer brutality of Cannibal Corpse - blended with ease and delivered with memorable ferocity. The band made their initial mark in early 2021 with a well-received demo that showcased their raw and unfiltered sound. In September 2022, Last Retch released their debut full-length album, Sadism and Severed Heads. The album comprises nine tracks, including titles like "Neurosis," "Doomrider," and the title track "Sadism and Severed Heads." The cover art was crafted by the renowned painter Paolo Girardi, adding a visual intensity that complements the band's sound. Continuing their momentum, Last Retch released the Ergotism EP on April 26, 2024. This EP features tracks such as "Scalped En Masse," "Heaving Pieces," "Doomrider II," and the title track "Ergotism." The release solidified their status as a rising force in the death metal scene. In Steel City, Abject Cruelty is unavoidable. Decaying from all angles, Hamilton represents the suffering, plight, fears, and harsh reality of our most vulnerable. Our shared indignation inspired 8 tracks of pure old-school death.

MOON DESTROYS wurde von Juan Montoya (ex-Torche) und Schlagzeuger Evan Diprima (ex-Royal Thunder) gegründet und veröffentlichte 2020 die erste EP "Maiden Voyage". Das 5-Song-Debüt entstand unter Mitwirkung von Troy Sanders (Mastodon) und Bryan Richie (The Sword) und legte den Grundstein für die Band, die 2024 mit Sänger/Gitarrist Charlie Suárez (MonstrO) und Bassist Arnold Nese ihre endgültige Besetzung fand. Im April 2025 rückte MOON DESTROYS dann ins wirkliche Rampenlicht, sicherte sich Support-Slots mit Elder und Dozer und veröffentlichten selbst ihr Debütalbum "She Walks By Moonlight" in limitierter Auflage. Dieses neue Album zeigte sofort die rasante Entwicklung, die über die Verbindungen der Mitglieder zu ihren früheren Bands hinausging. "She Walks By Moonlight" ist rau und verzerrt, aber dennoch verschwommen und hypnotisch und wechselt von schimmerndem Post-Rock zu treibendem Riff-Doom und zurück zu shoegaziger Psychedelia. THE CULT 1994 ALBUM FROM THE ENIGMATIC NORWEGIAN BLACKENED DOOMSTERS.
PRESENTED ON VINYL FOR THE FIRST TIME. Carpathian Full Moon formed in Norway in 1992 & was responsible for the sole full-length album, ‘Serenades In Blood Minor’; considered somewhat of a lost classic of melodic Scandinavian blackened doom. The style was reminiscent of acts such as Ophthalamia, as opposed to the more traditional & conventional style of black metal which was sweeping Europe at the time. ‘Serenades In Blood Minor’ was originally released on Avantgarde Music in 1994 & showcased refined musicianship as well as an eclectic mix of influences, whilst incorporating elements of progressive music into the compositions to give a rich texture throughout (members went on to form the more prog rock based act, Julia Dream). A darkly atmospheric opus which evoked the grandiose nature of black metal, but with a more melodic & often sombre doom core, ‘Serenades In Blood Minor’ saw Carpathian Full Moon sculpting an identity of their own with this release, before eventually splitting up. ‘Serenades In Blood Minor’ was recorded & mixed in October & November 1993, at Waterfall Studios in Oslo & is presented for the first time on the vinyl format. Remastered from the original reel-to-reel tapes and featuring liner notes by Steve Wynn. Medicine Show has always been a controversial album, even before it was recorded. The indie rock darlings became the first Paisley Underground band to sign to a major label, hire a mainstream rock producer, change bass players, and spend months recording the album - after having banged out their previous one, The Days of Wine and Roses, in mere hours. After succesful debut and waves of positive press and , A&M Records signed the Dream Syndicate and they went into the studio with producer Sandy Pearlman, who spent five months in the studio guiding the band through their second LP. ... Medicine Show was greeted with openly hostile reviews, largely because it sounded practically nothing like the album that sent tongues wagging two years earlier. ... [...] sounded big and polished, but also dusty and weathered, with the terse, nose-thumbing lyrics of the debut replaced with dark, complex narratives full of bad luck and bad blood backed with booming drums and roaring guitars that were significantly more rockist than what Steve Wynn and Karl Precoda brought to their earlier recordings. Litania is a doom/hindustan psych band from Italy and Serbia. The sound is based on drones, heavy riffing and inspired by ancient hindustan singing and playing (with instruments such as Sitar, Dilruba and Harmonium). Litania is also the title of our first album, eight tracks of evocative, hypnotic doom, where the raw power of guitars merges with the spiritual depth of Indian classical music. The songs, intense and dark, are interspersed with instrumental passages featuring sitar, dilruba, harmonium, and tanpura. The vocals, deep and ritualistic, draw inspiration from ancient Indian Ragas, evoking a sonic journey suspended between abyss and transcendence.

Jessica93, prodigal bastard of our glorious french squat scene, relocated on Born Bad : this is no picnic. Geoffroy Laporte, alone against all odds, alternates bass and guitar to build harsh loops with a drum machine spitting pre-Gulf War patterns. That’s where it gets tricky : every musical posse claims him. Grunge, sure, but Jessica doesn’t indulge in necrophilia. His circuit is punk, he doesn’t dress the part though. Cold wave, the atmosphere fits somehow, but the gear does not. The self-confident rock horde saw him playing with hair in his eyes… but he never joined the Party. Metal had something to say but sadly, nobody listened. Maybe it's time to give it a rest and let Jessica93 cook his great misery broth on her own, called « 666 tours de périph’ » (666 laps on the beltway). Witnessing Jessica93 live makes you dread that he'll get up the next morning, drive 200 miles and one nap later kick it again, when it takes us a good week to recover from the bad half of that same evening. Like so many other unknown soldiers during our very own world war of music, he patrols small venues relentlessly.



At the heart of this cultural pentacle painted by french weirdos Bryan's Magic Tears, and Carine Krinator, Jessica93 has built a sound validated by years of chosen vagrancy, birthing bands with joyously stupid monikers, in the humid jungle of small labels. Jessica93's debut album had a track celebrating Omar Little, HBO’s gay bandit from Baltimore. This story begins on the beltway, where Florence Rey, accidental copkiller turned to political icon of the 90’s. Geoffroy offers his brilliant analysis : " C’est la police qui nous tire d’ssus / C’est mon trou d’balle qui leur chie d’ssus « (Police shoots us down / my dripping asshole gets the job done).



A previous album was haunted by bedbugs, this one is essentially about love, a delicious scourge just as hard to eradicate. Two black diamonds peek out of the LP : ’’La colline du crack’’, heartbreak song about the ultimate temptation of violent delights, located on crackhead central in Paris. The brilliant chorus, ‘Take my hand and come with me to Crack Hill’ will put an end to the rumours, almost everything was really false. And Bébé Requin, alternative obituary that’ll make you shiver, where our nice couple states ‘’on kiffe la drogue dure et les ptits chiens’ (‘we love hard drugs and little dogs’). And that is the reason we face the wall of sound jostled by unnecessary shoulder thrusts: those nice fat chunks of charcoal poetry, hidden under light sarcasm.



The rest of the record demonstrates the know-how acquired in loop-by-loop construction of ruins that are pleasant to squat in together. There’s your classic doom delicatessen, with bits of heavy metal inside, crafted with the manic care typical of hard wankers. Arthur Satàn, who produced and mixed the album at home in Bordeaux, helped him get his head out of the reverb safe house. And Jessica93 took the opportunity to switch to the dark side of the language : french at last. Worth the wait ! Sing along : « nique sa mère / nique sa grosse mère » (translate that yourself).

OVER-GAIN OPTIMAL DEATH are an Acid Punk power trio formed in 2008 hailing from Los Angeles, and now currently hiding out somewhere in the South of France.
Fronted by guitarist/ vocalist Jasso (Psychedelic Speed Freaks, Antarcticans), they push a special niche product of blown-out extreme psychedelic noise rock. Their sound is enveloped in a total nihilist
"No Hope" atmosphere of heavy lyrics and distortion, mating intoxicating pulsing repetition, hyperactive improvisations and out of body guitar solos.
Resurrecting US 60s punk and acid-riffage from the likes of Blue Cheer, the Stooges, MC5 and live Hendrix Experience, OVER-GAIN OPTIMAL DEATH also draws greatly on the in-the-red sound aesthetic and high energy of the Speed Freak Underground and Hardcore scene of 80s/90s Japan.

Benjamin Hudson returns to Acroplane, following his last projects with us as Ebola (Wrong Music) and one half of Baconhead, with 'Slime'… and he's brought a load of his talented mates to collaborate with him.

Brain Rays is part of queer collective, DOOMSCROLL, and Devon art & party crew, Bizarre Rituals. He is also a co-founder of Wrong Music alongside DJ Scotch Egg and Matt Lambert (Roger Species).

Known for his hectic, high pressure output with Quiet, and film soundtrack work (as part of Unknown Horrors) collaborating with director Dean Puckett (The Severed Sun, The Sermon, Satan's Bite) and Rhys Chapman (Wonderkid). As a DJ he has performed all over the world, including Transmediale Festival (Berlin), Today's Art (Den Haag) and Boomtown Fair, as well as two live sessions at Radio 1's legendary Maida Vale Studios. As a producer he has garnered support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, ETCH, Huw Stephens, Drumskull, Annie Mac, and Nikki Nair.
