Nachdem Billy ,(I'm) Stranded" gekauft und 1977 The Saints als Vorgruppe von The Jam gesehen hatte, dachte er, dass es eine coole Idee wäre, in naher Zukunft ein paar ihrer Songs zu covern. Schnellvorlauf ins Jahr 2025. Während sie bei einem Mittagessen ihre Silberhochzeit feierten, meinte Billy zu seiner Frau: ,Vielleicht sollten wir ein paar Songs von The Saints covern." Mrs. Childish (die Bassistin von CTMF) nickte leicht und meinte: ,,(I'm) Stranded` und versuchen wir es mal mit ,Untitled`." Ein Aufnahmetag wurde ordnungsgemäß in Jim Rileys berühmten Ranscombe Studios (ein semiprofessionelles Studio am stinkenden Ufer des Flusses Medway) gebucht. Die Childishes, begleitet von The Wolf (Mitglied von The Skins), stellten ihre alten Kisten in einer Ecke auf, probten ein paar Mal schnell durch - um eine Vorstellung davon zu bekommen, wie die blöden Songs liefen - und Jims haarige Pranke (stell dir die Hand eines Werwolfs in einem Hammer-Horrorfilm aus den 60ern vor) drückte auf die Aufnahmetaste und voilà! Jetzt habt ihr genau diese 45er in euren Ohren. Da man klugerweise entschied, dass eine weibliche Stimme diesen beiden Charmeuren eine frische, glänzende Note verleihen würde, übernimmt Mrs. Childish den Gesang, während Billy auf den Hintergrundgesang degradiert wurde. So sieht's aus!

Following his award-nominated and critically acclaimed 2023 album Until Then, Danish guitarist and composer Rasmus Oppenhagen Krogh now presents his fourth album as a bandleader. "The title refers to the pillars that life and existence rest on," Krogh explains. "The moments, feelings, and meetings that form us as human beings, and that follow us the rest of the way. Snapshots that become defining for how our life develops." Musically, Pillars balances clear song structures with rich, intricate harmonic foundations. Krogh draws on influences from jazz, indie, rock, film scores, electronic music, and pop, creating a genre-fluid universe in which the ensemble"s improvisational voices shape each piece. Krogh"s guitar takes the lead, acting as a melodic guide, while the production - crafted alongside longtime collaborator Rasmus Juncker (Yör, Anna Roemer, Little North) - adds depth and texture, highlighting the album"s bold and multi-faceted sonic identity. As on previous releases, Krogh is surrounded by some of Denmark"s finest musicians, all longtime collaborators whose personal voices and improvisational approach have deeply influenced his musical development. After screaming to the world You Don't Know What Chiptune Is, arottenbit returns with an even more radical and collective statement: You Don't Know What A Rework Is. Ten tracks, completely deconstructed and rebuilt by twenty Italian bands, each in their own sonic language. From drone swallowing the void to the most savage death metal, from visceral punk to a fearless flamenco twist, every track becomes an uncharted territory, a journey where arotttenbit's identity dissolves and multiplies into twenty new forms. Most of the recordings were captured by Otto himself with his mobile studio, during a tour across Italy that took him into basements, rehearsal rooms, and underground spaces, harnessing raw and direct energy from the bands in their natural environment. Mixing and mastering then came to life at Otto Engineering Labs, his personal sound-space where everything was stitched together and transformed into a single living organism.

Manchester’s own The Slow Readers Club are set to embark on a special anniversary tour celebrating ten years since
their seminal breakthrough album, Cavalcade. Titled ‘A Decade of Cavalcade’, the tour will see the band revisiting the
album that set them on their path to becoming one of the UK’s most revered indie acts, while also marking an exciting
new chapter in their journey.
The tour announcement follows a milestone year for the band with their latest album Out Of A Dream landing at
UK Number 11 in the Official Charts in the first week. With growing momentum on streaming platforms and an everexpanding fanbase, The Slow Readers Club continue their upward trajectory, making A Decade of Cavalcade both a
reflection on the past and a celebration of what’s still to come.

The story of Suffering began in the UK's West Midlands in 2012 and since those nascent days they have released a nefarious collection of occult black metal offerings, beginning with their debut album, 11, in 2018 and most recently the Symphonies: Diabolis EP in 2024. They have also built a reputation for intense, diabolical live performances, appearing alongside the likes of Esoteric, Ghost Bath, and Mol. The band recently signed with infamous label, Apocalyptic Witchcraft, with label founder Conor Droney describing Suffering's music as "dark, unflinching, and deeply atmospheric, exactly what we stand for." And now the first fruits of that new alliance are about to be unveiled, in the shadowed form of Things Seen But Always Hidden. Things Seen But Always Hidden is an enveloping nightmarish journey through temptation and spiritual destruction, an immersion in contrasting states of terror and ecstasy - it bewilders, consumes and possesses the power to change and scar. Each song seeps into the next, binding them into a grimoire of dehumanising ritual, yet they exist as powerful individual entities. There is 'Enthralled', constructed from classic black metal riffs and raw vocal exhortations_and something more, something imperceptible but profoundly affecting; 'What Once Was Shall Be Again And What Is Shall Be No More', a glimpse beyond the veil, a fall down the endless paths of inherited memory that binds you to this album, this place constructed from arcane sound; the fear filled and imperious 'Hell On Earth New Eden', driven by a ravenous, unholy hunger_each chapter in this tome of unmaking and desecration will burn itself into your mind. Rouse and Raise Your Voice ist eine Zeile aus einem der bekanntesten Songs der Band, "Keep Hauling", der von mehreren Bands in Großbritannien und anderswo auf der Welt gecovert wurde. Die Vinyl-LP startet mit "Crooked Jack", dem allerersten Song, den Mark Bloomer und Andrew Cadie bei ihrem mittlerweile legendären Debüt-Gig in einer Schnapsbrennerei im Moselort Ediger-Eller im Jahr 2005 gemeinsam sangen. Eden Atiya (Rasco) and Ben Avgay (Silvi Jan), also known together as power duo Alligator Ladies, join Shay Landa and Markey Funk for a new sonic excursion into vintage instruments with "vox" in their title. The new 45, "Altair V/Vampyrim", channels the mystique and eerie spirit of the cult 60s sci-fi/horror B-movies, as the four blend groovy psych with space-age surf and otherworldly exotica.
