The Long Version delivers that essential 80s arc: slow build, emotional lift, and extended instrumental passages made for mixing. The Dub Version strips it back into a hypnotic tool, pure drums, synth stabs and atmosphere, tailored for late-night transitions and deeper sets. The Radio Version and Alternative Radio Version complete the package, offering two concise takes that still retain all the charm, drama and melodic punch of the original composition. This is more than a tribute, it’s a carefully crafted time capsule. From the production to the artwork and label aesthetics, everything here is designed to transport you straight back to 1986. For fans of classic German disco, collectors of lost Italo-adjacent gems, and DJs who know the power of a well-placed nostalgic moment – this one hits deep. A record that finally corrects history.

Few artists can conjure up the sort of spirituality that Fred P manages whenever he turns on his machines - and this brand new label from the artist means we'll be getting a shedload more of it. Sometimes it's deep, muggy, insular, at others more outward-looking and cosmic. And that's what we have here - emotionally dense sounds on 'Galaxy Walk (Journey mix)' with jazzy motifs off in the distance, spoken words in the foreground and dancing percussion that is optimistic and hopeful. 'Modern Art Talk' is just as balmy as you journey through a sound world that feels as infinite as space itself, while Fred himself muses on his art. 'Inner Channels (edit 4)' is a dusty shuffler marbled with muted chords and brighter melodic stars that feel impromptu and layered in live.

Few French house artists have the canon and credibility of Franck Roger over such a long period of time. It seems hardly a week goes by without a new drop - or a new old drop - of gold, and here he continues his work with Seasons Limited. 'Tapis Rouge' kicks off with the sort of warming depths that have long been his trademark, this time underpinned with dubby swing. 'If I Had' is a more soulful cut with a cheeky bassline and swirling synths that are utterly ageless. 'Love Potion' is a romantic sound with dreamy pads and 'Have I Lost You' has a zoned-out feel for when you want to give yourself over to the groove and gaze at distant chords.

For their second release, Shimmy turns to JK47’s ‘Vacation EP’, a mysterious record that slipped onto the shelves of Toronto record shops in 2003 and is now sought-after by discerning dance music collectors. Self-distributed by Kaelo Gallagher at the time, it joined a short run of his own releases that were clearly marked by his distinct sound. Combining elements of progressive house, breakbeat and deeper grooves, this EP is no different.

Soaked in dub and psychedelia, the four tracks on the ‘Vacation EP’ offer a unique take on the typical ‘prog’ sound. Crunching percussion meets cosmic synths and tripped-out vocals, with JK47’s iconic basslines rumbling throughout. Whether it’s played at peak-time, after-hours, or the grey areas in between - it’s time to shimmy.

Dinky Fellas is reminiscent of the West Coast sound of the 00’s, a proper groover with a glorious string breakdown.

On the flip “Could This Be” opens with some fresh synth chords sounding like a beach-side drive in an open top car, before bringing in looped vocals, chunky bass and a kicking drum groove.

Closing the EP is "Cinders", a slow-burning deep house track, featuring Phil Koerver on bass adding some subtle funk to a soulful journey.

Made between two millenniums, these cuts blend house, techno, and tech house into a hypnotic, time-warped trip. How they stayed in the vault for over 20 years is anyone's guess.

Movetone Wax returns with its sixth release, and this one lands with intent. MVT006 welcomes back Tommy Vicari Jnr — a producer whose relationship with the label already feels established, but here, he sharpens his voice into something even more direct and effective.

On the A side “Yak X” wastes no time setting the tone. A punchy snare and hypnotic synths lock into a driving, playful groove that’s built for impact.

Art teacher by day and musician by night, Aleksandar Ordev is a veteran of the Macedonian electronic scene, experimenting with DIY electronics and sound design since the early '90s. Jester is his latest release, stitched together under the glow of a disco ball in his home studio on Maksim Gorki Street in Skopje. With modular synths tangled into a chaotic harmony of obscure archives, the deep internet void, vintage pop, and Balkan pathos, he reshapes memory and sound into something strangely moving. Equal parts serious research and inside joke, this is a sonic journey at its most personal and peculiar.
