2024 Repress

Fresko is back on HAYES with Inner Funk - four heavily swung, boisterous cuts conducive to a frenzied dancefloor. Jagged, tight percussion is underscored by rolling basslines, stabbing synths, and a manic atmosphere, all while maintaining a deep sense of soul and ecstasy.

Parisian label and collective Prima Materia is proud to present the first 12" record in its 'Half Sided Series'.
The aim here is to offer a series of vinyls in the form of split EP's, with two producers each proposing a side featuring the different styles of techno we love so much.

For this first opus, we invited Portuguese dj and producer Fresko (Hayes Collective) and our resident Louis The 4th (Tar Hallow, Planet Rhythm, Prima Materia).

Louis The 4th opens Side A with 'Structured', a devilishly effective percussive tool, followed by 'Instant Attraction' in the pure techno tradition, where a hypnotic synth follows us all the way.
Then Fresko takes over on Side B, offering a more playful and colorful side with 'Cray' and 'Audio Space 2000', two tracks where mechanical grooves are accentuated by the Portuguese artist's signature elements and fx, with a surgical level of precision.

THY CATAFALQUE liefern mit der Wiederveröffentlichung ihres achten Albums "Geometria" ein weiteres spektakuläres musikalisches Mosaik ab. Tamás Kátai, der alleinige Mastermind des Projekts, hat wieder einmal Stücke aus so unterschiedlichen Genres wie Ambient, Folklore, Jazz, Metal, Electronica, Rock, Pop, Wave und anderen Stilen zusammengefügt.

Schwarzes und grünes Sunburst 12" Doppelvinyl (33 U/min) in Gatefold. Diese Ausgabe enthält den Bonussong "Töltés 23" (Neuaufnahme des Songs Töltés), hat ein alternatives Layout und ist weltweit auf 500 Exemplare limitiert.

"SHAOT REGISHOT" ("Sensitive Hours"), das Gold-Album, das Avishai Cohen zwischen "GENTLY DISTURBED" und "AURORA" auf Hebräisch aufgenommen hat und bisher außerhalb Israels unveröffentlicht war, ist jetzt überall auf CD und Vinyl erhältlich. Zum ersten Mal in seiner Karriere ist dieser Release kein Instrumentalalbum, sondern ein Album mit wunderschönen Liedern, die Cohen selbst geschrieben hat und selbst performt - stark vom Jazz und von traditioneller Musik beeinflusst, getragen von einer Stimme mit vielen Akzenten und unglaublichem Charme.
...Ein unverzichtbarer Meilenstein in seiner ohnehin schon reichen Diskographie.
