The album was recorded in 2018 and early 2019 at Woodshed in Malibu,
Nightbird in Los Angeles, Retreat in Brighton and Candybomber in Berlin. It
was mixed by Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Lance Powell and Andrew Dominik at
Conway in Los Angeles.
Ghosteen is the seventeenth studio album from Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds,
following 2016’s Skeleton Tree, and will be released via Ghosteen Ltd

Matthew Dear is a shapeshifter, oscillating seamlessly between DJ, dance-music producer, and experimental pop auteur. He is a founding artist on both Ghostly International and its danceoor offshoot, Spectral Sound. He writes, produces, and mixes all of his work. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none, now nearly 20 years into his kaleidoscopic career, with ve albums and two dozen EPs plus millions of miles in the rearview of his biography.

Bunny is the name of Matthew Dear's fth album. His rst since 2012, it bounces into plain sight preceded by two slyly different singles in 2017: the moody, urgent "Modanil Blues' and the buoyant, blithe, Tegan and Sara-featuring 'Bad Ones.' The title track sets forth the premise and the rest of the tunes expound upon it. Its a foot-tapping, head scratching, torso tornado that will crinkle the connossieur's temple in a tantrum of cerebral delight.
