British rock legend GRAHAM PARKER returns with his first album of new material since 2018. LAST CHANCE TO LEARN THE TWIST finds the veteran singer-songwriter in top form, offering up thirteen new compositions with exquisitely tasteful backing by The Goldtops (bassist Simon Edwards, drummer Jim Russell, guitarist Martin Belmont and keyboard player Geraint Watkins) and frequent contributions from the Easy Access Orchestra horns and backing vocal duo The Lady Bugs. It's a dazzlingly diverse album: sweet classic soul grooves and roots rock sounds dominate, framing lyrics dripping with Parker's vintage "Wicked Wit" (as one song title has it) and his inimitable, impassioned vocal delivery. Two early singles have hinted at the record's depth: the devastatingly stark "We Did Nothing" with its heartbreaking examination of the cost of inaction on both the personal and global stages, and the delightfully playful reggae-tinged "Them Bugs." The beautifully bittersweet ballad "It Mattered To Me" is set to follow, while the folk-informed meditation on mortality "Last Stretch Of The Road" has proven an instant fan favorite at recent solo performances. But there's much more waiting to be discovered on the full album, which is at once one of Parker's most relaxed and boldest statements to date.

Total Touch was the Dutch duo of Trijntje Oosterhuis and Tjeerd Oosterhuis that infused music with a unique blend of smooth vocals, jazzy harmonies, and funky grooves. After the quintuple Platinum debut album, the follow-up was a guaranteed success. The album is a mix of infectious R&B, pop, and experiments with rap and dance. This Way entered the Dutch album top 100 at number 1 and immediately went Gold. That year the band made their first serious attempt to take their success beyond the Dutch and German borders. In the end, This Way turned out to be the final studio album by the Dutch duo.

2023 marks the 25th anniversary of This Way and is therefore available on vinyl for the first time as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on gold coloured vinyl. The vinyl package also includes an insert.

The album is a testament to the possibilities that come from getting out of your comfort zone, the freedom of writing vulnerably and unselfconsciously, and the joys of getting to work with your closest companions. After releasing and eventually touring their critically-acclaimed third album Pleasure Line in 2020, Farbe and Micarelli sought inspiration for their next project through collaboration. They worked with Drugdealer on his album Hiding In Plain Sight, Micarelli gigged throughout New Orleans' jazz and blues scenes, and Farbe recorded local artists at his home studio, most recently producing Esther Rose's new album Safe to Run. Feeling refreshed, they rented a cabin in Eunice, Louisiana with touring members Nick Corson and Duncan Troast, where they spent eight days in August 2022 jamming, cooking and writing together. Through this process, Video Age have made their best collection of tracks to date by perfectly alchemizing their influences and experiences into a record still tinged with nostalgia, but moving towards a more succinct and authentic voice. Kommenden Monat jährt sich die Veröffentlichung zum 50. Mal - das Album erschien ursprünglich am 19. Oktober 1973, gerade einmal sechs Monate nach dem legendären " ALADDIN SANE" und drei Monate nach der berüchtigten letzten Ziggy-Stardust-Show im Hammersmith Odeon, bei der er zusammen mit The Spiders From Mars die Rolle des Ziggy zu Grabe trug.

Am 20. Oktober 2023, einen Tag nach dem Goldenen Jubiläum, wird "PIN UPS" in einer limitierten Auflage als LP im Half Speed Mastering veröffentlicht. Diese neue Pressung wurde auf einer maßgeschneiderten Neumann VMS80-Drehmaschine mit vollständig überarbeiteter Elektronik von restaurierten 192kHz-Mastern der Original-Masterbänder geschnitten, ohne zusätzliche Bearbeitung beim Transfer. Dark Horse Records feiert den 20. Jahrestag von JOE STRUMMERs (The Clash)2003er Album Streetcore. Der Sound wurde von Paul Hicks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, George Harrison) neu gemastert und die Grafiken wurden von der Originalveröffentlichung reproduziert.

Dem Vinyl liegt ein exklusiver Druck von Strummers handgeschriebenem Text zu "Coma Girl" bei.

Das dritte Studioalbum von Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, das die Single "Coma Girl" enthält, wurde nach Joes Tod im Jahr 2002 veröffentlicht. October Road is the fifteenth album by singer-songwriter James Taylor and is one of the few albums by Taylor to feature only original material.
