Heidi freut sich darauf, nun mit dem neuen Pristine-Album THE LINES WE CROSS endlich wieder auf Tournee gehen zu können. "Wir hatten im letzten Jahr eine Handvoll kleinerer Shows in Norwegen gespielt, als dies für kurze Zeit wieder möglich war. Die Regierung hatte alle Restriktionen aufgehoben, bevor dann die Omikron-Welle kam und alles erneut vorbei war. Diese viel zu wenigen Abende waren wundervoll für uns, aber offenbar ebenso für die Fans. Man merkte förmlich, wie ausgehungert beide Seiten nach Live-Musik waren. Es fühlte sich fast so an wie damals, als wir die Band starteten und unsere ersten Konzerte gaben." Damals war 2006: Heidi besuchte das Musikkonservatorium in Tromso, wo sie Gesang studierte, als sie die erste Inkarnation von Pristine aus der Taufe hob. Nach einigen Jahren der Sound- und Mitglieder-Findung sowie zwei exklusiv in Norwegen veröffentlichten Alben startete die Band 2016 mit REBOOT international durch. Es folgten ausführliche Europa-Konzertreisen mit stilistisch ähnlich gesinnten Acts wie The Brew und Blues Pills. Bereits im Jahr darauf legten Pristine mit NINJA nach und 2019 konnten die Skandinavier dank ROAD BACK TO RUIN erstmals die deutschen Album-Charts knacken. Subterranean Jungle is the seventh studio album by the American punk rock band the Ramones, released by Sire Records in February 1983. The album appealed to a hardcore punk rock style rather than featuring several pop-oriented pieces; this is due to the fact that guitarist Johnny Ramone received more leeway with steering the overall genre with his hard rock influenced riffs.

After exploring several so called Neo-Folk regions, flirting with Folk Noir, mostly with Traditional Folk in a modern perspective, for example Americana to Tex-Mex and Balkan Music to Alternative Country, on this third record the ensemble drifts to a cinematic landscape, focusing on the theme of overcoming.

We've Been Through puts together World Music elements incorporating an almost soundtrack experience for a journey into both Day and Night, Hope and Disillusionment and telling stories of broken romances and shipwrecks.

Utilizing banjo and theatrical vocal delivery, together with with classic and odd instruments, the band remap the original charts but still set sail the desired destinations. And if, about the previous records, critics were prone to recall the prowess of Waits, Cave, Lanegan, Cash and Tindersticks, this time it will be harder to name the grandfathers.
Now there is a Morricone (or was it Badalamenti?) guiding spirit and a dreamlike universe full of memories, from the dry electric blues of a stream of consciousness duet in Duet For Nothing to the unexpected crooning vocals provided by Liam McKahey (CousetauX) in Lost Friends (a banjo droven dirge dealing with electronics and a bassoon, with steal percussions and a music saw for a frame), from the rendition of the traditional Wayfaring Stranger, balancing between electric guitars and Bluegrass, to the intimate cover of Leonard Cohen's Hunter's Lullaby, from the rock-(swamp)blues of The Cat Is Dead (enriched by Italian bass hero Gianni Maroccolo, from Litfiba and C.S.I.) to the soft meloncholy of the string quartet in Between Day And Night, from the dark cabaret of Fiddler, The Ship Is Sinking to the soft porch song, between Willard Grant Conspiracy and Kris Kristofferson, of the final title track.
You can hear a shrawn and a blues harp, whispers and choirs, love and dudgeon as the record goes. This is the sound of an orchestra playing on a sinking ship: what else could a fiddler do? And what can we do, in the end?

The Finnish heavy metal band Lordi formed in 1992 by the band’s lead singer Mr. Lordi. They’re best known for wearing monster masks and using horror elements with pyrotechnics during live shows and music videos. In 2006, Lordi won the Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Hard Rock Hallelujah”.

Their debut album Get Heavy was originally released in
2002 and includes the popular tracks “Devil Is A Loser” and “Would You Love A Monsterman”. The album is available as a limited edition of 666 individually numbered copies on silver

Thy Socialite!, the first release from Field Music"s new record label Daylight Saving Records, is not the sound of Lloyd Webber quivering and sweating in a rotting Berlin flat but instead, a fun, joyous, audacious record of hard rock, glam, and pop that ranges from arena to art school. "I wanted to include a more rockist palette," Black says. "My last album, Higgledypiggledy, had influences including The Cardiacs, Prince and The Residents. For this one I wanted to see what I could get out of less indie audience friendly artists such as Toto, Sweet, Wings, Def Leppard and ZZ Top and merge it with a SLUG sensibility. Due to the more rock approach, I was happy for the album to become a big classic rock unit - pompous even." However, simply a pastiche and nostalgic throwback this isn"t. Despite the playful nods to some of the more grandiose, theatrical and overblown elements of the aforementioned genre, it"s also an album with a contemporary pop edge, slick production and a tangible connection to SLUG"s previous deft mix of indie, rock and art pop. The result of all of this is an album that is fun and unpredictable but also conceptually smart, ambitious and adventurous. The American blues had had it’s run with teens on both sides of the Atlantic long enough so that the blues-offspring named rock’n’roll had to expand or die. It did not die, it expanded in all kinds of directions! And right there in the crossroads between blues-based rock and all the world’s other sub-genres of rock, something happened to the blues. The format got experimented with, expanded and almost made unrecognizable. But at the same time the roots to the original ’real’ blues was never lost. Where Peter Green left Fleetwood Mac in 1970 with the track «Green Manalishi», where Johnny Winter stretched his musical legs, where ZZ Top bought Marshall full stacks and shot from the hip, and last but not least where the legend himself, Muddy Waters, stretched the limits of that was ’legal’ with the album «Electric Mud». And not to forget Jimi Hendrix, Free, Canned Heat and the rest of the gang from the Woodstock-era. The result was a highly electric musical revolution, where e.g. the newly born genre hard rock walked hand in hand with traditional delta blues. It is out from this musical mud The Devil and the Almighty Blues have found their inspiration. Formed in 2010, their music is slow, heavy, melodic and raw, all without losing the almighty blues out of sight. Filled with a profound love for the old heroes of the blues walking hand in hand with rock, metal, country and last but not least punk.

Wow! Tonio Rubio's Rhythms is a stone-cold killer, a heavyweight library breaks LP and the inaugural release in Be With's new partnership with legendary French library label Tele Music. Yes, you lucky people, there's lots to come. For this extremely special 50 year anniversary re-issue, we've reproduced the classic Tele Music sleeve with a full colour insert featuring rare photographs, fresh liner notes and personal memories of Tonio from the likes of Jean-Claude Vannier, Jean-Claude Petit and Janko Nilovic.

Sumptuous opener “Latin Leitmotiv” is all funky phasing effects and a killer montuno, with what sounds like piano and bass in tandem, stoking straight up Latin fire. The gritty hard funk of blaxploitation groove "Red Medium" is dripping in wah-wah attitude and head-nod oddness. The atmospheric, exotica-tinged "Dead Slow" emulates the languid, sensual afro groove of Quincy Jones’ wild masterpiece “Gula Matari” whilst the proggy, electric jazz fusion epic "Rock 73" is 9+ minutes of moody, rolling menace.

But the *real* highlight of this cult classic - and why it has long been *so* desirable - is the devastating, deep, hypnotic minimalist groove of "Bass In Action N°1". Very much in conversation with Quincy's rendition of "Hummin'", the loping, rumbling bassline and sweet electric piano over clean, crisp drums making it one of those tracks that sounds like a hip-hop beat 20 years ahead of time. Sensational. “Bass In Action N°2“ features Tonio's own vocal scat performance. Remarkable.

Antonio "Tonio" Rubio Garcia got his start playing the double bass in jazz clubs. In 1962, Tonio joined the Golden Stars, the first backing band of France’s teenage idol Johnny Hallyday. A genius musician with a unique guitar sound, he played on standards of French chanson including Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot’s "Bonnie and Clyde", Françoise Hardy’s "Tous les Garçons et les Filles", Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin’s "Je T’aime, Moi Non Plus" and Serge and Charlotte Gainsbourg’s infamous "Lemon Incest". Tonio also lent his brilliance to such legendary figures as Janko Nilovic, Jean-Claude Petit, Hervé Roy, and Jean-Claude Vannier. The latter remembers Tonio as “a secretive, mysterious man, with an endearing personality, albeit difficult to reach out to. His virtuosity as a bass player allowed me to write very innovative basslines, because he was able to play any of my eccentricities!”

The audio for Rhythms has been remastered by Be With regular Simon Francis whilst Christopher Stevenson has brought the original and iconic Tele Music sleeve back to life in all its striking glory as the finishing touch to this long overdue re-issue.

CHRISTIAN DEATH was formed by Rozz Williams in Los Angeles, California in 1979. Williams was eventually joined by guitarist/songwriter Rikk Agnew of ADOLESCENTS, James McGearty on bass and George Belanger on drums. This CHRISTIAN DEATH line-up was responsible for recording the band's iconic 1982 debut, ONLY THEATRE OF PAIN, widely regarded as the #1 American goth album of all-time. This exclusive double-LP version of OTOP commemorates its 40th anniversary- the first disc is the digitally remastered, original version of the album while the second disc is comprised of "Dogs" from HELL COMES TO YOUR HOUSE, four pre-Frontier demos, two studio demos made for a second Frontier Records' LP that never happened and two alternate studio mixes from OTOP. The gatefold LP jacket is printed in its original its black and metallic gold, includes a Colver collage poster and a hardcover copy of the photo book, ONLY THEATRE OF PAIN and all come in a hard slipcase. Tyranny and Mutation is the second studio album by American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released on February 11, 1973, by Columbia Records. The album was recorded at the Columbia Studios in New York City during the year before and was produced by Murray Krugman and Sandy Pearlman. On May 12, 1973, the album peaked at #122 on the Billboard 200.

The song “Baby Ice Dog” features lyrics by singer/poet Patti Smith (who was keyboardist Allen Lanier’s girlfriend at the time), who would make several lyrical contributions to the band’s repertoire during its career. The song “The Red & The Black”, with lyrics referencing the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, is a renamed, re-recorded version of “I’m on the Lamb But I Ain’t No Sheep” from the same-titled debut album. The song was later covered by the Minutemen and Band of Susans.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Tyranny and Mutation is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl.

Aaron Mader, known professionally as Lazerbeak, is a Minneapolis-based artist and producer. Over the past decade he has collaborated with everyone from reigning pop queen Lizzo (producing her entire debut album), Doja Cat, Dessa, bluegrass heavyweights Trampled By Turtles, indie supergroup GAYNGS, and the Grammy-winning Minnesota Orchestra, all while continuing to build and create with life-long comrades from his own Doomtree artist collective and notching production credits on everything from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton Mixtape to the dark electro-pop of Banks’ critically acclaimed III album. Aside from being a founding member of the Doomtree collective, he is also the CEO and General Manager of Doomtree Records, handling the day-to-day operations, management, and inner workings of the crew and label. His latest solo album Lava Bangers II, the second in an on-going instrumental beat tape series, is being released in two-song monthly installments throughout all of 2022, culminating in a 20 song limited edition 2xLP physical release in January 2023.

After their first release "Bird of Passage" in 2015, the band signed a contract with
MiG - music in 2018, the label that, among other things, distributes the legendary
"Rockpalast" recordings of the German TV- and radio-station WDR and with bands
such as Siena Root, Br selmaschine and Wucan, the label has signed in the field
of retro rock under contract.Jail Job Eve's album "The Misson" received
recommended reviews in the music press throughout Europe, and the band thus
earned the reputation: "the hope of the national blues rock scene" (eclipsed
Magazine, Germany).With their upcoming release "Wildfire", Jail Job Eve is once
again setting new standards. The album, recorded entirely live, confirms the band
as a finely balanced rock machinery. The music is much harder, more
experimental and coarser, while the lyrics deal offensively and aggressively with
the most important ideological issues of our time, such as climate change,
sexism, LGBTQ + rights or the responsibility of art and culture as a mirror of
society and an instrument of peaceful protest. For example, the first single "Lost"
is a song about female empowerment and therefore an energetic, feminist
statement to sing along to.The band's audible role models include Rival Sons,

 Love And Rockets are the seminal groundbreaking trio of
Daniel Ash (vocals and guitar), David J (vocals and bass)
and Kevin Haskins (drums). They formed in 1985 after the
first split of their band, Bauhaus. Love and Rockets
provided a clean slate and an opportunity to plumb the
depths of imagination and influences.

 The band’s 1985 debut album, ‘Seventh Dream of
Teenage Heaven’, was an unashamedly psychedelic
adventure, far removed from the dark, angular
soundscapes of Bauhaus. Yet they had to fight hard to
avoid being branded ‘goth’, citing Syd Barrett, Marc Bolan
and the later period Beatles as primary influences. This is
a single black LP with a gatefold sleeve.

Swedish alternative rock group Omni of Halos enters the stage with their
self-titled debut album Omni of Halos, a guitar-driven explosion of noisy
pop music, contains the four tracks from the 2022 EP Care Free
(previously only released digitally) from plus six new, until now
unreleased songs
This collection of skewed, bittersweet, and beautiful tracks was recorded and
produced by Per Steberg (Division of Laura Lee, Pablo Matisse, etc) in Welfare
Studios. Offering a unique mixture of distinct vocals, vibrant rhythms, and rich
pedal steel guitar melodies, Omni of Halos stands out from its kind while still
communicating a sound firmly rooted in the expressive soundscapes of the
alternative '80s and '90s.The album was mixed by John Agnello, known for his
work with Dinosaur JR, Sonic Youth, and Kurt Vile, to name a few. The band
comments: We just wanted to play massive indie rock with no limitations or
influences says singer, guitarist and songwriter Henrik Hjelt Rostberg. "We aim to
be a hard- working band, stay on the road and accomplish memorable live
performances where our music is at its best."
The artwork for the album was illustrated by Sebastian Murphy (Viagra Boys) -
Recorded and produced by Per Stalberg (Division of Laura Lee, Pablo Matisse),
and mixed by John Agnello (Dinosaur JR, Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile, Mark Lanegan,
Nada Surf, Violent Femmes, Chavez). - Band members have previously been seen
in bands as: Division of Laura Lee, Bombus, Sparks of Seven, De Lyckliga
Kompisarna, Speed of Sound Enterprise, Firebreather, - Colorful, noisy music
derived from skewed, guitar-driven melodies, bringing the Alternative Rock of the

Swedish alternative rock group Omni of Halos enters the stage with their
self-titled debut album Omni of Halos, a guitar-driven explosion of noisy
pop music, contains the four tracks from the 2022 EP Care Free
(previously only released digitally) from plus six new, until now
unreleased songs
This collection of skewed, bittersweet, and beautiful tracks was recorded and
produced by Per Steberg (Division of Laura Lee, Pablo Matisse, etc) in Welfare
Studios. Offering a unique mixture of distinct vocals, vibrant rhythms, and rich
pedal steel guitar melodies, Omni of Halos stands out from its kind while still
communicating a sound firmly rooted in the expressive soundscapes of the
alternative '80s and '90s.The album was mixed by John Agnello, known for his
work with Dinosaur JR, Sonic Youth, and Kurt Vile, to name a few. The band
comments: We just wanted to play massive indie rock with no limitations or
influences says singer, guitarist and songwriter Henrik Hjelt Rostberg. "We aim to
be a hard- working band, stay on the road and accomplish memorable live
performances where our music is at its best."
The artwork for the album was illustrated by Sebastian Murphy (Viagra Boys) -
Recorded and produced by Per Stalberg (Division of Laura Lee, Pablo Matisse),
and mixed by John Agnello (Dinosaur JR, Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile, Mark Lanegan,
Nada Surf, Violent Femmes, Chavez). - Band members have previously been seen
in bands as: Division of Laura Lee, Bombus, Sparks of Seven, De Lyckliga
Kompisarna, Speed of Sound Enterprise, Firebreather, - Colorful, noisy music
derived from skewed, guitar-driven melodies, bringing the Alternative Rock of the
90's back to life.
