Magazin Stereophile in einer begeisterten Besprechung über die erste Auswahl von Stücken der intimen
Live-Aufnahme im Deer Head Inn, die Jarretts spontane und rückblickend historische Rückkehr an den
Ort seiner frühen Jahre in Pennsylvania an der Seite von Gary Peacock und Paul Motian festhält. Die
zweite Veröffentlichung mit dem Titel The Old Country, 30 Jahre nach der ersten Auskopplung im Jahr
2024 erschien, wurde ebenso hochgepriesen – ”songbasierte Jazz-imagination in ihrer besten Form”, so The
Guardian. Hier werden beide Alben kombiniert und zum allerersten Mal auf Vinyl veröffentlicht, verteilt auf
vier LPs in zwei Tip-on-Klappcovern und von einem Deluxe-Schuber umfasst: The Complete Recordings.

EcoRecord sounds and looks as great as a traditional vinyl record, but it’s been manufactured using 100% recyclable PET, instead of PVC. EcoRecords are also produced using injection moulding technology, with energy savings of up to 85% compared to the traditional vinyl process.
A Rush of Blood to the Head includes the singles In My Place, Clocks, The Scientist and God Put a Smile Upon Your Face. Produced by Coldplay and Ken Nelson, the album earned the band three Grammy Awards, including Best Alternative Album and Record of the Year (for Clocks)."

COLDPLAY VERÖFFENTLICHEN ALBEN AUF ECORECORDS AUS PLASTIKFLASCHEN NEU


Coldplay setzen ihre Mission der Nachhaltigkeit fort und veröffentlichen alle ihre Alben als durchsichtige 140g EcoRecords, die aus recycelten Plastikflaschen hergestellt werden. Die Herstellung erfolgt im Spritzgussverfahren, das die Kohlenstoffemissionen während der Herstellung um beeindruckende 85% im Vergleich zur herkömmlichen Vinylproduktion reduziert.
Eine EcoRecord klingt und sieht genauso gut aus wie eine herkömmliche Vinyl-Schallplatte, wurde aber aus 100 % recyceltem Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) hergestellt, einem leichten und haltbaren Material, das leicht recycelbar ist und für eine Kreislaufwirtschaft konzipiert wurde, was erheblich zur Verringerung der Transportemissionen und der Umweltbelastung am Ende des Lebenszyklus beiträgt.
Jede spritzgegossene 140g-LP wird aus durchschnittlich neun recycelten PET-Kunststoffflaschen hergestellt. Diese Flaschen werden von den Verbrauchern im Rahmen eines als Post-Consumer-Recycling (PCR) bekannten Prozesses zurückgewonnen, bei dem sie gereinigt, zu kleinen Pellets verarbeitet und dann zu neuen Artikeln geformt werden. Während EcoRecords entweder aus frischem PET oder aus recyceltem PET (rPET) hergestellt werden können, hat sich Coldplay dafür entschieden, für alle EcoRecord-Produkte ausschließlich rPET zu verwenden.

Dieser bahnbrechende Schritt folgt auf die erfolgreiche Veröffentlichung des 10. Albums der Band, Moon Music, im letzten Jahr, das bereits auf 100% recycelten PET EcoRecords veröffentlicht wurde, dem weltweit ersten Album, das als 140g EcoRecord rPET LP herausgegeben wurde. Coldplay ist weiterhin Vorreiter in Sachen nachhaltiger Musik und hat beispielsweise den CO2-Fußabdruck ihrer Music Of The Spheres World Tour um 59 % reduziert.

Tony Holiday has been at the center of a Memphis soul blues revival anchored by a contingent of young, savvy, well-schooled musicians who have a "family-like" attitude and a strong belief in one another. Over the past couple of years, Holiday has been touring hard, taking spells in between to write and record with Producer Eric Corne in Memphis and Los Angeles. The result is Keep Your Head Up, an album that demonstrates an impressive command of styles, as Holiday leads his band fluidly through Texas, Chicago and hill country blues with plenty of Memphis soul and even a touch of Afrobeat. It features a nice array of special guests including Eddie 9V, Kevin Burt, Albert Castiglia and Laura Chavez, last year's Blues Music Award winner for 'Guitarist of the Year’ with Holiday shining throughout on vocals and harmonica.

"Released in 2002, Head on Straight marks Tonic's third studio effort, a testament to the band's steadfast dedication to their sound amidst a rapidly evolving alternative music landscape. The very young band from Bilbao, Head Holes, present their second full-length album, 'Requiem'. A concept album at 45 RPM, in which the narrative rides on the back of 90's punk, grunge and hard rock. They are an ambitious reality that will surprise fans of previous generations and are the great Basque hope of rock'n'roll. After releasing their first album 'Decade of Decay' in 2022, Head Holes decided to explore new artistic horizons by working in an unconventional way. Therefore, they set out to do something that few people in the Basque Country had tried before: a conceptual narrative album, where every detail matters, but where each track can also be enjoyed independently, without the need to know the backstory. None of them is over 21 years old. Eder del Valle (vocals), Naroa Esturo (drums), Xabier Aguado (guitars) and Jon Mikel Batiz (bass) make up a band without musical prejudices combining influences from 90s punk, grunge and hard rock, among others.
