Finnish electro duo Morphology, comprised of Matti Turunen and Michael Diekmann, is set to release ‘Made Up Reality’ on Deeptrax Records, the label with a mission to deliver high-quality, groundbreaking electronic music focusing on the deeper side of electronica and eclectic leftfield dance jams, exploring those spaces between deeper house and techno, with hints from the past and a strong vision of the future.

At the funkiest end of things, Function's Free Style morphs from West Coast psychedelia to country funk to swamp rock and back again in its sub-three minute length, Dandy King provide psychedelic funky-soul and The Whiz Kids take a heavy dose of funkiness with them into psych-rock territory – sample fiends watch out for the fat twenty-second drum break towards the end of the latter! Purer psychedelia can be found in the offering from Third Stone while Würzburg band Prisma provide all-out epic psych-rock carnage. And if rock carnage is your thing, you'll be feeling the dirty garage rock onslaught of The Comin' Generation and a previously unreleased cut by Synod - soon to be a 45 single on Perfect Toy. Old-School-Heavy-Metal der epischen Art! Phaëthon bringt auf ihrem ersten Album monumentalen klassischen Metal hervor, eine Meisterklasse in Sachen Metal. 'Wielder Of The Steel' ist ein acht Songs umfassendes Werk, das Fans von Manowar, Mercyful Fate oder Bathory zweifellos ansprechen wird. Phaëthon wurde 2020 in London gegründet und tauchte im Metal-Untergrund mit der Mini-LP 'Sacrifice Doth Call' auf, die später über Gates of Hell Records auf Vinyl veröffentlicht wurde.

Tony Iommi ist ein englischer Musiker. Er war Mitbegründer der bahnbrechenden Heavy-Metal-Band Black Sabbath und war über fünf Jahrzehnte lang Gitarrist, Bandleader, Hauptkomponist und einziges ununterbrochenes Bandmitglied der Band. One of reggae’s best and most recognizable ‘toasters’, Big Youth broke new ground as a DJ in the early ’70s with a flowing, chant-like cadence that was equal parts melodic and invigorating, applying his infectious vocal approach to heavy social and political lyrics.

A huge favourite of the punk and new wave artists at the time of release, Big Youth was embraced by The Clash, via Don Letts, and PiL, amongst others. John Lydon was part of Richard Branson’s A&R envoy to Jamaica, helping sign credible artists to his new Front Line reggae label.

Featuring the legendary Skin, Flesh & Bones band, formed around Lloyd Parks (bass), drummer Sly Dunbar (before he started working with Robbie Shakespeare), Ansel Collins on keyboards, and trombonist Vin Gordon. The album was produced by Tony Robinson and Errol Thompson and mixed at the famous Joe Gibb’s studio.

Dread Locks Dread skanks from punchy, rhythm-heavy reggae to the deepest, dubbiest roots. The hypnotic Some Like It Dread reworks Dennis Brown’s “Some Like It Hot”, where the DJ’s toast is entwined with a bluesy harmonica (the dub version re-titled (Black Man Message). Also features a fiery version of Burning Spear’s “Marcus Garvey” (Marcus Garvey Dread), a tasty take on the John Holt classic “Keep on Moving” – Moving On and a scintillating dub of the Techniques’ rocksteady masterpiece You Don’t Care.

Not your typical DJ album by any means, the music equals the toasts and vice versa – an essential release for a dub fan or a Big Youth supporter.

collective of revered UK underground musicians, comprising members of Earth, Mugstar, The Keep and Jaaw, have been pulling audiences into drug- like slipstreams with their alchemy of pummelling rhythms, towering guitars, and unrelenting saxophone through which glimmers of light occasionally pierce through. No wonder their Golden Triangle is an album telling distortion-shrouded tales from one of the most storied, enigmatic places on the planet, with enough invention within to fill eighty thousand miles and more.

Darting wildly between dark/light, pain/bliss and sacred/profane, the band originating from Bristol offers a different perspective on Post Metal! On Grand Scheme Of Things, Sugar Horse comment: "This album was intended to be a sideways step. A move away from the kind of thing that is expected of us_ if anything is at all. What I mean by that, is the songs are more direct. They take a much shorter amount of time to "get to the point". We also wanted to make this one noticeably "less Metal". While we love being a bit boneheaded and confrontational, we definitely wanted to explore the more melodic, song-based side of the band's sound. Normally you'd see shortened song structures and more singing and think "Oh these guys are going for gold_.they wanna get on the radio and make millions of bloodstained pounds." Well_you're very much entitled to think that if you wish, but it felt like more of a songwriting challenge than anything else to be honest. We've done the whole drawn out, endless Space Rock thing a good few times now and it would've been easy to rest on those laurels. Do something we're comfortable with. Alas, that is not really the point of this band. We'd much prefer to make it difficult and take the long route."

“NO MORE HOLLYWOOD ENDINGS” WILL BLOW YOU AWAY! The eleven featured songs were recorded by keyboardist Janne Björkroth, Viktor Gullichsen and guitarist Joona Björkroth at JKB Studio; the record was also produced and mixed by Janne. Janne stated about »No More Hollywood Endings«, "The heavy songs are heavier, pop-delights brighter, rock vibes stronger, and sounds richer than before. The emotional scale is wider, and everything is bigger." Last but not least, the cover artwork was created by Jan Yrlund (KORPIKLAANI, MANOWAR etc.), who already took care of the »Bringer Of Pain« design.

Dame Area's highly anticipated fourth studio album, "Toda la verdad sobre Dame Area" ("The Whole Truth about Dame Area"), a collaboration with the renowned labels Mannequin Records and Humo Records.

Formed in 2017 within the vibrant underground scene of Barcelona's Màgia Roja club, Dame Area comprises the Italian-Catalan duo Silvia Konstance and Viktor Lux Crux. They fuse industrial-tribal polyrhythms with minimalist synth basslines, drawing profound inspiration from avant-garde masters such as Esplendor Geometrico, Throbbing Gristle, Suicide, Einstürzende Neubauten, Can, Coil, Swans, Big Black, and Wolf Eyes.

This record represents a new phase in Dame Area's discography. It's a big step up in terms of sound, composition and ideas. This record it's the perfect representation of what they have been playing live the last three years and what most people know them for. Also it serves as a companion piece to 2022’s Toda la mentira sobre Dame Area ("All The Lies About Dame Area"), which had a stronger focus on melody, while this latest record is more aggressive and industrial-influenced, with a greater emphasis on percussion.

Tracks like the Suicide-influenced "Si no es hoy cuando es" and "Sempre Cambiare" are an onslaught of industrialism and experimentalism—formidable, volatile, and unpredictable avant-garde subversion. Silvia explains, "One of our biggest influences is doing what our influences wouldn't do. We're more into dynamics and structures atypical of electronic music, with changes in time signatures, starts and stops, and dynamics more typical of rock music. We use any musical idea from any genre. Some songs on the album are based on flamenco rhythms, others influenced by '60s experimental pop, heavy metal, or contemporary electronic music."

The confrontational "Vengo dall'aldilà" accelerates with heavy percussion, while "Tu me hiciste creer" builds into a rhythmic, transcendent noise of yelled vocals and hypnotic beats. Viktor adds, "This song took us more time to complete than any other we have recorded. It was a very organic process, evolving slowly from some instrumental percussive stuff we were doing live. Then we started using feedback as a rhythmic element (through a metallic sheet), and this was the first song where we incorporated this element, typical of noise-rock and experimental rock."

Elsewhere, "Esto Es Nuestro Ruido" represents a manic, eclectic form of contemporary industrial music, post-punk, and EBM. Silvia notes, "It's the first album we recorded outside a studio. Although we've been playing live with metallic percussion and floor tom from the very start, in the studio, with some exceptions, it was mostly sample-based until now. On Toda la verdad sobre Dame Area, all drums and almost all metallic percussion have been recorded live."

With a growing reputation as one of the best live bands around since their inception, Dame Area has toured extensively across Europe, performing at renowned festivals like Atonal, CTM, Nuits Sonores, Dour, and Fusion, as well as legendary clubs such as Berghain, Tresor, Apolo, and Spook Factory.

Die psychedelischen Stoner Rocker aus Nordengland bauen auf einem soliden Fundament aus schweren Riffs und Breakouts auf, das sie geschickt mit entspannten Vibes verstärken. Dabei besticht "Warped Vision" durch die Präzision, mit der jeder Hook genau auf den Punkt genagelt wird, ebenso wie durch die perfekte Balance von rauen Kanten und eingängigen Melodien. Die Band stammt aus Bradford in West Yorkshire, eine Stadt, die wahrlich nicht durch ein trocken-warmes Klima gesegnet ist. Der verregnete Norden am Rand von Englands rostendem industriellen Herzen inspirierte PSYCHLONA zu einer sehr britischen Variante von Klangideen, die ihren eigentlichen Ursprung einige Jahrzehnte zuvor im sonnigen Kalifornien hatten. Zum Desert Rock amerikanischer Prägung fügten die Engländer die rohe Energie des britischen Punk, eine großzügige Prise New Wave of British Heavy Metal sowie einige Esslöffel englischen Psychedelic Rock der 60er und 70er Jahre hinzu. Das Experiment an einigen heißen Tagen des Sommers 2016 übertraf die eigenen Erwartungen der Musiker deutlich und schon waren PSYCHLONA geboren. Im November wird es in englischen Städten düster, kalt und nass. Doch im Jahr 2018 ließ das sonnendurchflutete Debütalbum "Mojo Rising" nicht nur insulare Mundwinkel nach oben zucken. Damit stellten die Briten auch die Weichen für ihre produktiven folgenden Jahre. Im August 2020 veröffentlichten PSYCHLONA fleißig ihr zweites Album "Venus Skytrip", das im gesamten Heavy Rock Underground mit begeisterten Kritiken bedacht wurde und der Band ihre erste Nummer Eins auf der einschlägigen Webseite Doom Charts einbrachte. Das Zweitwerk sicherte ihnen auch zahlreiche Plätze weit oben auf wichtigen Jahresbestenlisten. Zwei Jahre später, im August 2022, stellten die britischen Stoner Rocker ihr drittes Album "Palo Verde" vor, das ihnen im Powerplay Magazine UK schon die zweite 10/10-Bewertung einbrachte. Mit "Warped Vision" sind PSYCHLONA bereit, um den nächsten großen Schritt zu gehen. Mit zwei neuen Mitgliedern an Bord bekam die Band sowohl beim Schreiben als auch bei den Aufnahmen frischen Wind in die Segel. This version of the band's second album is a collector's delight - two discs enclosed in a heavyweight, hardcover 12" x 12" book with 96 pages of photos from longtime collaborator Jess Flynn. Each member of Modern Baseball also contributed notes to provide context to the countless photos taken while touring, recording, skateboarding, napping, swimming and a whole lot more. This deluxe edition also includes two never-before released demos of "Rock Bottom" and "Pothole" pressed on an exclusive 7". These early, intimate versions show how the ideas behind these two favorite tracks progressed into the final takes that made it onto You're Gonna Miss It All. Modern Baseball was formed in 2011 by friends and guitarists Jacob Ewald and Brendan Lukens, who were soon joined by Ian Farmer on bass and Sean Huber on drums.The band self-released their first EP The Nameless Ranger in 2011 while still in high school. Shortly after the members relocated to Philadelphia to attend college and quickly gained a strong following in the Philadelphia music community, teaming up with locals Marietta to release the Couples Therapy split in the spring of 2012. Modern Baseball released their debut full-length Sports later that year on Lame-O Records, which they self-recorded and produced. After spending the summer of 2013 touring heavily across the US, the band headed into Studio A in Philadelphia to self-record You're Going to Miss It All. Mixed by Jonathan Low at Minor Street Recordings and mastered by Will Yip, You're Going to Miss It All features 12 tracks that showcase the band's signature witty indie-pop.
