Nkrumah “Jah” Thomas is an esteemed reggae deejay and record producer who first came to prominence in the 1970s, later setting up his own labels ‘Midnight Rock’ and ‘Nura’.

* A welcome reissue of Jah Warrior’s 1998 album `Dub From the Heart Part 2’.
* A venture into raw dub-wise territory with samples galore and weighty bass-lines built for sound system and annoying the neighbours.
* Produced by Jah Warrior and mixed by Dougie Wardrop from Conscious Sounds studio,
* Limited to 500 copies only.

* Originally released on the Abba Jahnoi label in 1993, `Jah is Version’ is one of the holy grail’s of the UK roots reggae and dub scene.
* A raw and minimalist production style from Danny Red and crew with a stripped down dub version.
* Other versions and re-recordings of this track have emerged, but this is the original and best.

Channel One production, Discostyle double header as originally released on the J & J label in 1980.

Both sides come complete with extended mixes running into the version.

On limited red vinyl and housed in Channel One's Super Charge inner sleeve in a quality art board spined sleeve.

* Bristol music Godfather Rob Smith (Smith & Mighty) was a major force in the 1st wave Bristol Dubstep scene, not only as a huge musical influence on the likes of Pinch and Peverelist but also as a producer in his own right. This typically dubwise 12' is one of his best from that era, repressed for 2016.
