Umgeben von diesem Gold ist ein elliptisch nackter Diamant, der auf einem steifen Aluminium-Nadelträger montiert ist. Ein solcher elliptisch nackter Diamant wird normalerweise in HiFi-Tonabnehmern verwendet und liefert einen so kraftvollen und detaillierten Klang, dass seine Performance an ein Live-Konzert erinnert.

Dieser Diamant weist durch seine Bauweise als kompletter, nackter Diamantstift eine geringere bewegte Masse auf und sorgt damit für eine verbesserte und detailreiche Klangqualität. Sein schlankes Profil ermöglicht es ihm, den Schwingungen der Plattenrillen genauer zu folgen und somit komplexere Details herauszuarbeiten und selbst höchste Frequenzen sicher abzutasten.

Das aus dem Hause Ortofon stammende Profisystem Tonar Banana ist ein absoluter Leckerbissen. Es überzeugt nicht nur durch das ansprechende Design, sondern auch durch die vorzüglichen technischen Eigenschaften. Die spezielle Heavy Duty Aufhängung, der integrierte Gewichtring und der sphärische Schliff sorgen für eine super spurgetreue Abtastung. Back-Cueing und Scratchen sind mit der Banana völlig unproblematisch. Für die praxisgerechte Anwendung ist die Nase des Tonabnehmers ausgeschnitten und das System mit einer gut sichtbaren Farbe versehen, was die Handhabung im Dunkeln natürlich vereinfacht.
