This Spring, the Psionic imprint returns with its seventh chapter, welcoming rising Uruguayan talent Juanma Alegre to the fold. Across four forward-thinking, rave-infused cuts, Alegre blurs the boundaries between mysticism and pure dancefloor drive.

The journey opens with “Capsule of Time”, a deep, pulsating opener awash in acid-laced atmospheres and hypnotic grooves. Next up, “Selvinter” delivers a seismic mix of rolling drums, liquid acid lines, and dreamy pads—built for moments of late-night transcendence.

Flipping to the B-side, “Intrus” locks into intricate percussion and mind-warping textures, maintaining pressure without letting up. Finally, “Going Inside” closes the record with breakbeat pulses and off-kilter rhythms, channeling raw emotion straight to the heart of the peak-time floor.

Beyond Illusion EP is the debut release from Uruguayan record label Mettamaya. Four sonic explorations by Agu Alegre, Pi, Lightmaker, and Juanma Alegre, who contribute powerful yet melodic tracks that energize the dancefloor while also accompanying an intimate listening experience.

Mettamaya is a label rooted in the ideas of compassion, illusion of reality, and transcendence. Its name brings together Metta — loving-kindness — Maya — the illusion of reality — and Meta — that which goes beyond. A platform dedicated to conscious sound and inner exploration.

First time double-cassette reissue of 1987's double LP opera rock by Spain's legendary punk band Eskorbuto. "Los demenciales chicos acelerados" is a political satirical work against any kind of dictatorial regime. "Los demenciales chicos acelerados" is Eskorbuto's fourth studio album, originally released by Discos Suicidas in 1987. It was their most ambitious project, a double LP rock opera in the vein of "Quadrophenia" by their beloved The Who. It tells the story of an unscrupulous young man who wishes to achieve power at all costs, stepping over everyone and everything in order to do whatever he wants politically. In the end, he falls due to his ego and is betrayed by those around him. Hence lines such as "crowds are a nuisance", "I'll come unscathed out of the attacks planned by my image consultant" or "shouting in front of the scum". In 1988 band members Iosu and Juanma narrated the album's concept and story on a Radio Euskadi show, the Basque Country's public broadcaster. This satirical political plot also explains the controversial sleeve art, Eskorbuto were equalling the unprincipled politician of their rock opera with the Nazis and Franco's dictatorship. It's a conceptual record that attacks any kind of dictatorial political regime. The original sleeve caused some trouble, to say the least, with its combination of Nazi photos and the Spanish flag on the back accompanied by the words "Of national interest". lthough "Los demenciales..." came out on Discos Suicidas, in typical Eskorbuto fashion the band stole a copy of the master and sold it to the Twins label, which also released it a few months later with new cover art.The album contains new versions of a few previous tracks such as 'Ratas rabiosas' and 'Enterrado vivo' plus the studio version of 'Más allá del cementerio'. For the recording the band enrolled keyboardist Aitor Amezaga, who would also collaborate on their next album.

The Groove Family kicks off the compilation, Sampladelia 2025, with a dancefloor banger, while Carlos Abril takes us on a soulful journey, and producer Blunted Soul dives into instrumental hip hop infused with funk. From Jerez, Maestro Mutante delivers a distinctive sound full of contemporary soul, while Sr. Zambrana blends jazz, hip hop, and Japanese influences. Smart K., from Vigo, brings his signature Spanish-sung R&B, and guitarist Juanma Montoya proves that soul-funk and flamenco accents are a perfect match. Karmasound mixes jazz with electronic textures, MrFoxMad pays an elegant tribute to Roy Ayers, and Malage delivers a killer track for the dancefloor. Laboca joins Flavia Beaká with experimental, conscious hip hop, and to close the compilation, Pablo Torti represents the new wave of Spanish contemporary jazz. This 3rd of the Motordiscs opens with a slow and delighted beat by The JuanMacLean, which turns into an electro mesmerizing track. Is it slow trance or is it some kind of house ? Are we early in the night or late in the after party ? Are we still dreaming ? A2 « Mark 211 » by Javi Redondo takes the energy level up with some acidy synth and punchy snares, proving that the power of a track does not necessarily lies in its speed. It is now time to flip the disc, Naduve takes us later in the night, bringing a murky vibe, thanks to haunting pads and low frequency instruments, picturing a proper underground club. The sun now starts to rise on the Seine river, the last track sounds like an ode to the dawn, where voices and shiny synths will emerge and open the crowd’s eyes. It was « Peppi » by Fairmont. This was a night at Garage
