Die vierköpfige Band aus Ithaca (New York) X Ambassadors besteht aus Sänger und Gitarrist Sam Harris, seinem blinden Bruder Casey Harris am Keyboard, Gitarrist Noah Feldshuh und Schlagzeuger Adam Levin. Ihren bereits veröffentlichten EPs - Love Songs Drug Songs' (2013) und - The Reason' (2014) folgt nun ihr Debütalbum - VHS'. - Mir war wichtig, dass sich das Album insgesamt wie ein Film anfühlt', sagt Sam Harris. Wie in einem Film, geht es in den Songs um Bewegung, um Geschwindigkeit, um den Wunsch, irgendein Beziehungschaos und die Enge des Kleinstadtdaseins hinter sich zu lassen. Die erste Single - Renegades', ist bereits auf Hitkurs! Am Radio belegt die Single nur wenige Wochen nach Radiostart bereits #26 der Airplaycharts. In den USA chartete sie an die Spitze der Alternative Airplay Charts und der Triple A Radio Charts, sowie auf #8 der US Top 40 Radio Charts.
Die Single hat sich schon jetzt weltweit über eine Million Mal verkauft und verzeichnet über 45 Millionen Streams. In Kanada, USA und Italien wurde - Renegades' bereits mit Doppel-Platin ausgezeichnet. Die Band tourte mit Bands wie Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers und Panic! At The Disco und eröffnet im Januar 2016 acht US-Shows für Muse! Das Album erscheint als CD und Vinyl.l

Dark Entries and Honey Soundsystem Records have teamed up again to release another volume of gay porn soundtracks by San Francisco-based musician and producer, Patrick Cowley. Perhaps one of the most revolutionary and influential people in the canon of disco music, Cowley created his own brand of Hi-NRG dance music, ''The San Francisco Sound.'' Born in Buffalo, NY on October 19, 1950, Patrick moved to San Francisco at the age of 21. He studied at the City College of San Francisco where he founded the Electronic Music Lab. During this time, Patrick, along with his classmates Maurice Tani and Art Adcock, would create radio jingles and electronic pieces using the school's equipment: first a Putney, then an E-MU System, and finally a Serge synthesizer. He would make experimental soundtracks by blending various types of music and adapting them to the synthesizer.

Dark & atmospheric, this could easily be a soundtrack of horror film proportions. The Bass is thick and punchy with the eerie sample 'Dark Triangles!' slicing through the darkness. Support from Mistajam, Hatcha, Soap Dodgers, Walsh, N-Type & Surge. D: Zombie Apocalypse - This one is more on the jump up side, proving the diversity in N-Type & Surge's production style. As the zombies approach, tension builds to the drop with the dramatic sample 'This is the End'. The bass is weighty and growling, like a blood thirsty monster. The second drop steps up the pace with a staggered, automated bass rinse out.

Northbase are a crew built up of several well know Jungle DJ's and producers (we'll let you do the digging) hailing out of Manchester, London and Leeds.With the uprise of the slower 140/150bmp jungle hardcore (nearer to 91/92 speeds) gaining rave and radio play from the likes of N-Type, Skream, Ray Keith, Benga, Hatcha, Benton, Arc-88, Northbase have their first release on Wheel and Deal.Ruffneck - The club smasher! features hardcore stabs, rolling amens, thunderous sub. All the vibes of a classic jungle rave at a cruising 140 tempo. Sounds wicked mixed with Dubstep half step beats. Somebodies had a bit too much of a party! Hoovers, massive stabs, amens and the infections repetition of open your mind, this one will have your dancefloor climbing the walls, with a big smile. Support from N-Type, Skream, Arc-88, and Benton.
