originalen Mehrspur-Mastern erstmalig als einziges Queen-Album neu abgemischt wurde und somit Hörern
und Fans ein völlig neues Hörerlebnis bietet .
Das Originalalbum wurde 1972 aufgenommen und im Juli 1973 durch EMI Records in Großbritannien
und Elektra in den USA veröffentlicht. Mit den Singles „Keep Yourself Alive“ und „Liar“ erreichte das
Album in Großbritannien und den USA Goldstatus und ist seither bei Queen-Fans ein Klassiker.

Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - A Night In Tunisia
Dieser Albumklassiker ist ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie Art Blakey den jungen Talenten in seiner Band eine
Plattform zur eigenen Entfaltung bot. Er lässt sie nicht nur ausführlich in ihren Soli zu Wort kommen,
sondern vertraut auch blind auf ihr Können als Komponisten. Einzige Ausnahme im Repertoire ist der
Bebop-Klassiker von Dizzy Gillespie, der diesem Album aus dem Jahr 1960 seinen Titel verlieh.

Donald Byrd - Royal Flush
Mit dem Album “Off To The Races” hatte Trompeter Donald Byrd 1959 seinen Höhenflug bei Blue Note
begonnen. Noch mehr Fahrt nahm Byrd auf, als er im Jahr darauf einen jungen Pianisten namens Herbie
Hancock unter seine Fittiche nahm und in sein hervorragend besetztes Quintett holte. Auf dem exzellenten Hardbop-Album “Royal Flush” konnte der Trompeter mit diesem Quintett 1962 all seine Trümpfe
ausspielen.

Dies ist die erweiterte Deluxe Edition von Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ klassischem Album Long After
Dark aus dem Jahr 1982, mit ”You Got Lucky”, ”Straight Into Darkness” und ”Change Of Heart”. Die
Veröffentlichung ist für den 18.10. geplant und enthält 12 Bonustracks, von denen 7 bisher unveröffentlicht
sind.” Das neue Produkt ist zeitlich auf die Wiederveröffentlichung des ersten Films von Regisseur Cameron
Crowe abgestimmt, Heartbreakers’ Beach Party, ein Dokumentarfilm-Special für MTV aus dem Jahr 1983,

Joy Oladokun has announced her anticipated new album, Observations From A Crowded Room. The follow-up to 2023’s Proof of Life will arrive less than 16 months later, on Oct. 18, 2024, via Amigo Records/Verve Forecast/Republic Records. Oladokun completely wrote and produced the new album, and she performed the majority of it alone. The tracklist includes 12 new songs and three spoken interludes. Four songs from Observations From A Crowded Room have seen release so far. Earlier this year Oladokun shared the indie-folk ballad “QUESTIONS, CHAOS & FAITH” and the gospel-inflected “DRUGS.” Along with the album announcement, she has also revealed the soulful slow-burn rocker “NO COUNTRY” and the modern folk tune “I’D MISS THE BIRDS.”
