veröffentlicht und enthält neben McIntyre auch den Saxophonisten Eric Dolphy. Auf dem Album sind 5
McIntyre-Originale sowie der von George und Ira Gershwin geschriebene Standard „They All Laughed“
enthalten. Diese Neuauflage des Albums erscheint als Teil der OJC-Serie auf 180-Gramm-Vinyl, das bei
RTI gepresst und von den Originalbändern bei Cohearent Audio komplett analog gemastert wurde, und mit
einem Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.

The intrepid free jazz pianist Cecil Taylor made his Blue Note debut with the explosive 1966 album Unit Structures featuring trumpeter Eddie Gale, saxophonists Jimmy Lyons and Ken McIntyre, bassists Henry Grimes and Alan Silva, and drummer Andrew Cyrille. Founded in 1972, SteepleChase Records is one of the most significant and prolific European jazz record labels. Starting out by recording visiting Americans when they performed at the legendary Café Montmartre, founder Nils Winther was encouraged to start the label by none other than the great Jackie McLean, who was the first artist to release a record on the new imprint. From there, Steeplechase rapidly grew into one of the foremost labels to document European jazz with all its distinctive originality and style.

With a particular emphasis on recording front rank American artists who had chosen the expatriate life in Europe, Steeplechase was first in line to document the sounds of the greats as they developed in exile.
