The Deku Trio's cozy Legend of Zelda coffeehouse jazz album

Jazz band The Deku Trio is back for an encore in Zelda & Jazz II, an 18-track smooth jazz Legend of Zelda tribute album. Featuring intimate piano, upright bass, and mellow drums, The Deku Trio reimagines the music of The Legend of Zelda with influences ranging from lounging bossa nova to coffeehouse jazz. Zelda & Jazz II features music from across The Legend of Zelda series. Highlights include Nintendo 64 classics Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, GameCube releases Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker, hand-held titles Link's Awakening and Spirit Tracks, Skyward Sword for the Wii, and the Super Nintendo's A Link to the Past. This wide-ranging tribute is topped off with artwork and character designs by comic and environmental artist Christian Benavides (League of Legends). The brainchild of Rob Araujo (Chillhop) and Chris Davidson (GameChops), The Deku Trio features rich reharmonizations on piano, gentle drums, and lush upright basslines, with mixes by Curran Sinha in Los Angeles.

RE:WARM Records are very pleased to announce their next release 'Rituals', a new compilation series from the curator and DJ, Josh Mason-Quinn, aka Somewhere Soul.

For Volume 1 Josh takes us on a journey through the various shades of his ritualistic listening habits across twenty-four hours. From rising first thing in the morning, radiating positive energy throughout the day, retreating into the evening before finally releasing your inhibitions on the dancefloor.

The compilation spans four sides of vinyl and is presented in a double gatefold sleeve. The release will also be available on CD and digital formats.

The album is a celebration of new and emerging talent from the underground Jazz, Soul, World and House Music spheres, sitting neatly alongside artists already carving their way into the collective conscience of those who have been curious enough to dig deep.

The record is due for release on 25th July 2025 with the pre-order available 23rd April 2025 via the Warm Agency Bandcamp and selected record stores.

Steve Bicknell returns to KR3, once again unleashing his mastery of power electronics!
Following his two reinterpretations of last year's "JK Flesh Remixes" and four years after his solo EP "A Day In The Life" in 2021, Bicknell takes us deep into the realms of his sonic mysticism, marking a significant milestone in the fifth anniversary of the label.
Several Streams of Thought LP - is an unrelenting and immersive odyssey, presented through nine tracks, seven of which will be available on a double 12-inch vinyl, with two exclusive cuts in a limited 7-inch format.
The album hits hard, straight to the brain, with no warning, across sides A, B, and C. Each side is a raw, untamed techno experience, with Bicknell's unmistakable signature dominating throughout, delivering unwavering intensity and relentless impact.
However, on side D, a transformation takes place: a 15-minute soundscape that turns the embedded waves into breath - a blinding light emerging from the darkness. It's a moment of tribalism and evocative magic, offering a refreshing pause, a return to balance after the intensity of the shadows.
The 7-inch, available in a limited edition under the title "the eye of the invisible world", contains two tracks - one on side E and the other on side F.
The mystical sounds complete this dual experience: one part filled with dark, untamed energy, while the other brings a sense of mental lightness, emphasizing breathwork and emotional self-
healing.

'Epiphany' is an album by composer and arranger Vince Mendoza, released in 1999, it is appearing here on vinyl for the first time and features the London Symphony Orchestra and seven jazz soloists, including John Abercrombie, Michael Brecker, Peter Erskine, and Kenny Wheeler. The album consists of eight original compositions by Mendoza, ranging from the lyrical "Impromptu" to the rhythmic "Barcelona". The music is a blend of classical and post-bop, with influences from show tunes and Spanish folk music. Mendoza's orchestrations are subtle and evocative, creating a rich and varied sonic palette. The soloists interact with the orchestra in different ways, by blending in, contrasting, and often improvising over the written parts. A new album, a new era for Adam Beyer and his music. The revered Swedish producer, DJ, and label head of Drumcode and Truesoul has consistently pushed the boundaries of techno in his own 30+ years of releases, while his imprints have launched many new artists and boosted the clout of major stars.

‘Explorer Vol. 1’ see's Adam Beyer showcasing his inspiration from his whole past creative journey whilst continuing to explore different sounds and new genres. It reflects permutations of Adam’s headspace and who he is, celebrating his personal interests and influences including in sci-fi, both musically and visually. A new age for Adam Beyer, after a prolific slew of superb EPs, singles and collabs which have spanned 20 years since his last LP.

Max Watts, the elusive force behind Limited Network, emerges from the shadows with his first double-pack release, Archives EP. Watts reveals a selection of tracks that have remained hidden—dating back to 2019 and never before appearing on vinyl. Despite the ongoing enigma surrounding Watts and Limited Network, Archives EP is a stark, no-nonsense exploration of minimal techno. Drawing inspiration from pioneers of the second wave of Detroit techno, this EP delivers eight tracks steeped in raw energy. Swedish italo disco / synthpop duo Sally Shapiro announce their fifth studio album, Ready To Live A Lie. Taking inspiration from synthwave, italo disco, nudisco, indie pop and bossanova, the album becomes their second for Italians Do It Better - again mixed together with label founder Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy, Desire).

The third album by Lucca Leeloo titled “SAKAMOTO” features a unique blend of futuristic and retro-inspired music, drawing heavily from synth-pop and Italo disco influences. Thematically, “SAKAMOTO” explores the concept of searching and navigating life’s challenges, with a particular emphasis on personal growth and self-discovery.

The album was produced in collaboration with Italoconnection, known for their expertise in electronic and Italo-disco music, adding a retro yet futuristic vibe to the work.

The official soundtrack to Jean-Cosme Delaloye's documentary about the life and career of Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig, Desire: The Carl Craig Story is set for release on digital platforms on 20th June 2025, with 2x12” Vinyl and CD editions to follow on 18th July 2025.

The collection, coming via his prolific and seminal Planet E Communications, features music from across Craig’s vast catalog, including several tracks that have never previously seen full digital release. Among the rare and remastered tracks featured is No More Words - originally released in 1991, newly reissued on vinyl and available digitally for the first time. A foundational track in the Detroit techno canon, No More Words captures the emotive synths and tight grooves of Craig’s sound that would soon resonate across dance floors worldwide. Its reissue marks a moment of reflection on the genre’s roots and evolution.

Another remastered track from Craig’s extensive archive is The Truth, a deep cut from Craig’s discography under his Designer Music alias, now widely available for the first time a quarter-century after its original release. The film’s end credits are scored by the contemplative Meditation 4, an ambient production previously only available on Craig's 2013 Masterpiece compilation CD for Ministry of Sound.

Iconic remixes such as his Grammy-nominated rework of Junior Boys’ Like A Child is included alongside lesser-known but equally epic remixes such as his sublime 2012 mix of Slam’s Azure, which is employed for the film’s title credits and had previously only seen a limited release. Also featured across the soundtrack’s multiple formats are iconic Carl Craig productions under his 69, Psyche/BFC and Innerzone Orchestra aliases, and collaborations with Moritz von Oswald and Francesco Tristano. The soundtrack serves as a companion to the new documentary directed by Jean-Cosme Delaloye and produced by Sovereign Films, which follows Carl’s journey from Detroit’s middle-class roots to global stardom, set against the city’s decline and recovery. The film explores his work at the intersection of music, art, and culture, from his collaborations with Bottega Veneta to his Party/After-Party installation, acquired by the Detroit Institute of Arts and exhibited at MOCA Los Angeles. An obscure yet relevant experimental album from 1995 where IDM meets Jazz, Funk, Ambient and Downtempo, originally released on the Input Neuron Musique label and now fully remastered & reissued. Roupe aka Rupert Brewer was responsible for delivering two Long Player's combined with two EP's and a smattering of a few compilation appearances - something which given his obvious talent should have resulted in much more at the time. His 'Strom' album is something which is not easily defined yet remains sounding fresh today as it was back then despite not fitting easily into any classification but being packed full of variety and quality. A real gift for the adventurous listener.
