Formed in 2019 while the band’s members were still in high school, Rhododendron’s Ezra Chong (guitar, vocals), Gage Walker (bass), and Noah Mortola (drums) set out to push their musical limits without regard for genre boundaries or audience expectation. In the past seven years the trio has developed a sound rooted in technical precision and repetition. Drawing from the angular experimentation of underground rock in the 1980s and 1990s alongside elements of jazz, ambient, and progressive music, their compositions are deliberate with intensity. Riffs fracture and reform, rhythms lock into patterns only to break apart, and extended passages build pressure before shifting direction.
Performing regularly in Portland, the band has cultivated an intense and loyal local following. The live setting hardened the material. Songs grew heavier, sharper, more physical through repetition and high volume.

The material that became Ascent Effort was tested on tour before entering the studio. Written largely in sequence, the album traces a period of personal change and internal friction. Growth is not always clean; sometimes it grinds forward. Nothing resolves without cost. Confusion and strain do not sit outside the songs, they shape their architecture. That is what the band has accomplished with Ascent Effort, a work that is not always clean but well-shaped by struggle and growth. The Flirtations are poised to release ‘Still Sounds Like the Flirtations’ – their first album of new material in 55 years. They are best known for their 1969 signature song, "Nothing But A Heartache”, off their debut album ‘Sounds Like the Flirtations’. That song spent 14 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100, and its success saw the group tour with Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, The Four Tops and The Temptations. “Nothing But a Heartache” remains an undeniable Northern Soul classic; it has been streamed over 13 million times, and in 2022 was remixed by Tobtok and Oliver Nelson. On their forthcoming album, which was produced, engineered, mixed, and co-written by Ben Rice (Joan Osborne, Valerie June), Earnestine Pearce, Shirley Pearce, and Viola Billups aka Pearly Gates tell the stories of their lives. Drawing inspiration from the churn of personal, social, and political situations that they have lived through over the past five decades, they capture a timeless and well-earned perspective on love and life. The record, which features the Dap King horns, contains standout tracks, including the reflective call to action “Memories”, co-written by Stevie Wonder; the hopeful love song “Ain’t No Easy Way” and the instant dance floor hit “Didn’t Anybody Tell You”, both co-written by Grammy-nominated songwriter Gian Stone (John Legend, Meghan Trainor); the uplifting groover “Love Somebody”; and the roaring “Take It Back”, co-written by Dave Sherman (Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Elle King). The recording process was a transatlantic adventure, with sessions at Abbey Road and Resident Studios in London, Degraw Sound in Brooklyn, and Creative Workshop in Nashville. Retaining the classic soul sound and melodic harmonies The Flirtations are known for, the album will not disappoint long-time fans, while also promising to bring their authentic, inimitable sound to a new generation of music.

With Grammy award-winning sound engineer Katie May (MPG Sound Engineer of the Year, 2025) once again at the faders, Blank Arcades sees the same team (David Perry on guitars & church organ, Cameron Saint on double bass and Louis Spanton on percussion) reunite in atmospheric Yatesbury Church, close to the Avebury stone circle, to perform sixteen new songs on a single summer's day. A year on from its predecessor, Collodion ("hushed, haunted and shiver- inducing" wrote Alexis Petridis in The Guardian) Blank Arcades draws on themes of impeded progress and the 'entrances to nowhere' implied by the album title, a nod to Andrew's interest in ancient churches. "When you sing in a place like this, the walls join in."

After recording the Decomposed and Warriors of Doom demos, Sakowicz left the band in early 1988 and was replaced by Ross Dolan, and the band's name was changed to "Immolation >>. The new lineup put out two studio demos, in 1988 and 1989, and gained a worldwide following in the underground death metal scene. Immolation signed a record deal with Roadrunner Records and released their debut album 'Dawn of Possession' in 1991. After leaving Roadrunner, the band released "Stepping on Angels," a compilation of demo releases and live tracks.

Recorded in London during 1995–1996 and produced by Chris Sheldon, the album marked a significant step forward for the York-based group following their 1994 debut Change Giver. Written by band members Rick Witter, Paul Banks, Tom Gladwin and Alan Leach, the record captures the energetic guitar-driven sound that helped define the Britpop era.

A Maximum High reached number 8 on the UK Albums Chart and produced five UK Top 40 singles: "Where Have You Been Tonight?", "Getting Better", "Going for Gold", "On Standby" and "Bully Boy". Among these, "Going for Gold" became the band's biggest hit, peaking at number 8 on the UK Singles Chart.

Campbell Owens, Douglas MacIntyre and Mick Slaven worked on the album alongside founding members Robert 'Bobby Bluebell' Hodgens, David McCluskey and Ken McCluskey to create the new collection of tracks. The result is a stunning body of work; rich, melodic, thoughtful and infectious. First single No Pasaran! premiered on BBC Radio Scotland and in The Herald in September 2025. The Bluebells rose to fame in the 1980s as jangle-pop pioneers of the Sound of Young Scotland era with their three hits Young at Heart, Cath and I'm Falling.

Despite only releasing one readily-available album during their initial run (Sisters, 1984) the band have remained as one of Scotland's most beloved bands, currently boasting over 144,000 monthly Spotify listeners. The band enjoyed a post-breakup revival in 1993 after a Volkswagen advert featured Young at Heart, pushing the single to No.1 for 4 weeks. They have since reunited over the years, to play various festival slots and develop new material. In 2023, the band released The Bluebells In The 21st Century, their first LP in decades. In 2025, The Bluebells played Glastonbury.

**ON RANDOM COLOUR VINYL** PRIMITIVE RING consists of Bert Hoover (bass/vocals), Charles Moothart (guitar/vocals), and Jon Modaff (drums). The Los Angeles power trio formed in September 2024 when Hoover and Moothart came together seeking a new creative outlet. In 2025, the band released four 7"s on four different labels (Greenway, In the Red, Reverberation Appreciation Society, and Fuzz Club UK). They hauled amps and drums into bars to hone the sound of the newfound brotherhood that is Primitive Ring. Rock and roll is in its essence a primal experience, and the name reflects that. Three individuals collide and egos rattle, shedding layers and growing new limbs. Archetypes flash to the rhythm of a freight train and the crown is passed hand to hand like a good luck charm, symbolic and communal. Rock and roll is for the people and Primitive Ring is for the taking. At least it will be when the band's debut LP is hurled into the future via In the Red Recordings. Primitive Ring is 11 tracks coming in just under 42 minutes. It was recorded by Mark Rains in December of 2025 at The Station House in Echo Park. The album is the genesis story of a lightning bolt flashing in the eternal drama of creation and destruction. The album showcases the distinct writing styles of each member, but the overall aesthetic is a woven tapestry demarcating the timeless meridian. The record is the spawning of a collective vision. This is something we all share, and we must remind one another how electric humanity can be.

Coinciding with the band’s European tour in June 2026, High Roller Records re-releases “Rat God” (2021), “Fearsick” (2022), and the “Panic Prayer” EP (2023) by US death metal powerhouse Inhuman Condition.
Formed in late 2020, Inhuman Condition unites three seasoned veterans of the genre: Jeramie Kling (Overkill, ex-Venom Inc., ex-Massacre) on vocals and drums, guitarist Taylor Nordberg (Deicide, Umbilicus, ex-Massacre), and Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Death, ex-Six Feet Under, ex-Massacre) on bass. With roots deeply embedded in the legacy of classic Florida death metal, the trio quickly established a reputation for delivering relentless, and unapologetically old-school extremity infused with modern precision and songwriting clarity.
The group’s debut full-length “Rat God” introduced their signature blend of crushing mid-tempo grooves, razor-edged riffing, and commanding vocal presence. Chris Brain is a Yorkshire-based folk singer-songwriter releasing his fourth album, Red Sun Rising. Rooted in intimate storytelling and the pastoral tradition of British folk. Chris Brain’s work has received repeated national support from BBC Radio 6 Music (Cerys Matthews, Radcliffe & Maconie, Guy Garvey, Tom Robinson) and the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show, alongside features in Songlines, Uncut, RnR, Shindig, Guitar Magazine, Guitar World & Daily Express. In 2024 his music appeared in the major motion picture We Live in Time, and he recently completed a seven-date sold-out tour of Japan, including performances on Tokyo FM and Osaka FM. Chris toured the UK multiple times, the last time selling out 15/15 shows. He will embark on another tour of the UK & Ireland in Spring with the album release as well as a European tour later in the year.
