This is a classic beat-tape style LP from one of the most under rated Hip Hop producers in the U.K. right now. Warm and woozy productions that stand out in a world saturated with bland Dilla and Madlib-esque pastiches.

Heavily influenced by Bassa's Mauritian roots, the album takes you on a journey through aboriginal and pan African sounds with heavy layers of percussion and samples from his fatherland. Features Mo Kolours, Al Dobson Jr, Reginald Omas Mamode IV and Shepherd Manyika.

Returning to a brief but very fruitful period in electronic music production, Shelved Recordings exists to look back to the golden age of the remix, with a clear view of the future it imagined.

Artists who were steered towards maverick producers, with a view to changing the rules, to re-defining the terms of what modern music should and could be.
Pioneering techniques, over-dubs and an exploratory period of pop production, resulted in many lost dub versions and mixes. Mixes, which invariably were left on the shelf, deemed too 'out there' by the bosses of the the hedonistic label managers who commissioned them.

Carefully reconstructed and rebuilt lost classics from someone who was there the first time around !

The 4th release from Bring Back Records is dedicated to all selectors and dj's, who support vinyl and continue to help give to it new life every day.
The A-side is the title track of the record with a mysterious atmosphere, bells, voices and stretched amen-break in the best traditions of 93-94 jungle style.
The B-side contains two tunes with summer vibes, one is a 4/4 jungle tek tune with sweet vocals and a nod to early rave music, the other one has killer breakbeats, funky moods and references to gangsta rap.

If you’re calling for a bouncy house floors-driver to spice up your work, this VA brings you everything you’re asking for. None of less than four raw jams, all tracks might be labeled as outstandin works to shake your middle-set session, in order: the dreaming atmospheres from Rabit are setting the initial tone, Invisibile’s piping kicks are there raising the bar, Kotrljacha’s hyper futurism rocks the transition and finally Blazar sets everything back to a cheerful weel being state.

Eliptic presents the 4th release of the label - Tura de Noapte signed by Crihan.

The main track of the release rolls on the A side.. "Schimbul 1" captures the attention immediately with the minimalist percussion completed by a hypnotic feminine voice giving to the track the main element, making it perfect for an after party session.

On the B side - two dancefloor-friendly tracks. "Schimbul 2" is an insanely infectious track, not least because of the stunning vocal but equally for that bassline - the essential ingredient.

"Schimbul 3" switches stance for a more personal approach and experience making it the freewheeling track perfectly shaped for carefree sunny days... "Smile!".

LOy is a newly formed duo, of two passionate producers, Azteca who is on the scene since quite a while, and Bolivar, a drummer, and electronic music producer.

Using the most of their knowledge, experimenting, they look to achieve the most colourful trips, wondering in the electronic music scene. At the Menu : 3 groovy house tracks dedicated to the dancefloor and a deep & subtle remix by the the famous Terrence Terry , a true honor to have this teacher on board. Good travel!

Ruhrmann & Rockwell’s debut 12" EP marks the inaugural release for Amikron Records, a colognian imprint established together by the friends of 'Chicago Am Rhein' and 'Ruhrmann & Rockwell' for modern dancefloor records of all kind.

The first music from the Cologne producer duo features four library instrumental tracks, all created and rearranged for a dj-friendly use.

Kicking things off on the a-side with a midtempo boogie / disco stomper, "Cape York '84" is serving you feel-good summer vibes followed by "Do Not Rush" slowing it down to keep you in a cool jazzy mood. On the flip side "Felix The Midi-Cat" turns wild with some synth-jamming backed by an uptempo groove while "Sunrise" puts your mind into a hypnotic rhythm surrounded by flute samples.

East End Dubs continues to build on the strong foundations of his label with this on-point slice of high grade minimal from Romania's very own Arapu. #1" is a dexterous, catchy groover, while "#2" gets into a twitchier headspace for the seriously locked-in freakout crew.
