THE SINISTER DEBUT ALBUM OF PURE NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL
FEELING,FEATURING MEMBERS OF AURA NOIR, OBLITERATION &
CONDOR."Underground metal the way it should sound returns to
Kolbotn!" - Fenriz (Darkthrone)From the depths of Norway looms a new
rising beast of hate & misanthropy in the form of Avmakt
Featuring the duo of Kristian Valbo & Christoffer Brathen - known for their work
with such acts as Aura Noir, Obliteration & Condor - their debut album, 'The
Satanic Inversion of....', is a grim & revelatory offering. Primitive in a way that
captures the early magic of Kolbotn's metal kings, Darkthrone, as well as the stark
chaos of early-era Bathory along with their very own distinguishable stamp on the
genre, 'The Satanic Inversion of....' is a masterclass of real Black Metal feeling,
wrapped up in a hypnotic frenzy of ice-cold riffing.
Though both members had played in bands covering different genres since their
early teenage years, Black Metal had always been one of the most important as a
vehicle for an honesty & fierceness that resonated deeply within the duo, without
the need for extravagant clothing or pretentious concepts. And so Avmakt itself
was born as the vessel for channelling this stripped-down raw feeling.
Formed in 2020 & with their one & only demo release gaining traction in the
underground, the Norwegians quickly came to the attention of Darkthrone's Fenriz
& Peaceville Records & Avmakt was swiftly included on Peaceville's Black Metal
Compilation, 'Dark Side Of The Sacred Star' which launched at the end of 2022.
Avmakt itself means "powerlessness", the sense of being overwhelmed & not
able to have any influence - without choice, voice, or hope. And so, it is from far
down in this psychological abyss that Avmakt's ideas & expressions manifest
with the completion of their debut studio release; 6 sprawling epic tracks
recorded with the assistance of Arild Torp, also of Obliteration & encapsulating
such themes as emptiness, desolation & alienation in a powerful display of
sinister, uninhibited Black Metal.

Three years after their debut, French Azken Auzi return with Infernua, a dark and powerful journey into the depths of occult doom and sludge. Forged through years of live activity and creative evolution, the album reveals a band that has fully embraced its identity, delivering heavier riffs, deeper atmospheres and a more mature songwriting approach. Crushing grooves meet haunting passages as Azken Auzi explore the darkest corners of the human soul, balancing oppressive heaviness with moments of eerie tension and hypnotic flow. From the album's thunderous opening to its more ethereal closing moments, Infernua unfolds as an uncompromising sonic ritual that pushes the band's sound into darker and more immersive territories.

For fans of Monolord, Electric Wizard, Darkthrone, Weedeater, Beherit, Celtic Frost, Crowbar, Mayhem, YOB.

Cincinnati metalcore combo delivers their 2nd release on RG, this time a 2-song 7" follow up to their 2019 album "Flux" Ball of Light from Cincinnati sees their second release on Rad Girlfriend Records, this time as a two song 7" EP follow up to their 2019 album "Flux". This time they've recruited Gared O'Donnell from Planes Mistaken For Stars to play guitar and contribute some lyrics and vocals. Somewhere between the late 90's/early 2000's Metalcore and classic Hardcore, Ball of Light brings the crushing rhythms, heavy riffs and fantastically brutal vocals embodied by the genre. Adding O'Donnells signature shredding and ethereal and caustic vocal melodies adds a new dimension to the band. These two songs are layered and complex. Ball of Light would easily be in good company with bands like Poison The Well, Converge, Cave-In, and Coalesce. They bring a no filler, no nonsense approach to this EP and every part is executed with precision. The heavy guitars and precise drumming will bring you back to long lost beer-soaked shows in east coast basements and VFW Halls across the country. They can do fast, they can do slow but one thing is for sure, they specialize in heavy.

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the much-needed reissue of BAPTHOMET’S BLOOD’s sophomore album, Second Strike, on vinyl LP and - for the first time - CD formats. Originally released in 2008, the Italians definitely continued in the same vein: rough speeding heavy metal hailing the old goods of NWOBHM and 80s speed metal. Beer drinkers and hell raisers though and through, this one is for the backwards leaning blue-collar metal maniacs. 8 tracks + a cover of German heavy metal cult act Tyrant finished of this Second Strike

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the much-needed reissue of BAPTHOMET’S BLOOD’s debut album, Satanic Metal Attack, on vinyl LP and - for the first time - CD formats. This marks the beginning of reissues of all of the band’s four albums. Originally released in 2006, the Italian act went all in with their pure and authentic love for the old metal scene of the 80s. The aim was never to reinvent the wheel and bring new influences into classic speed metal. These maniacs represented a new generation which wanted to continue and blast out heavy metal in the old way, with the same spirit.

'Rambler of Aeons' is an album of extremes. Musically, both melody and brutality are pushed beyond the boundaries explored in previous albums. The band spans from Motörhead to Black Sabbath passing through Sepultura, Exploited, Paradise Lost, Cro-Mags and everything that is badass. Dealing with all things human and beyond, BARK runs all the red lights from the mundane to the metaphysics, taking us on a euphorical suicide spree between life and death.

Blue Record announces the re-awakening of Savannah’s rock giants BARONESS. Blue Record is an instant classic, with all the peaks and valleys, textures, and nuances that timeless records yield over repeated listens. Deep and dark, Blue Record overflows with gossamer melodies and striking, earnest riffs that have become the band’s signature. Blue Record is the most poignant moment in the BARONESS canon to date.

Bastards gained international attention and were the first Finnish hardcore band to tour Europe, yet they still ended up quitting the band in December 1983 after just a few active years. Svart Records have now put together all the recorded material by Bastards. Arctic Hardcore – Complete Studio Recordings & Rare Rehearsal Tapes -box set was done as a tight co-operation between the record company and members of the band. The nearly four-hour long compilation contains 136 songs, of which fifty are never released versions or completely unheard material, until now. The box set also contains a thick booklet with the band’s history, lyrics, complete song details and a lot of photos from the band’s active years. Bastards was one of the first hardcore punk bands coming from Finland in the early 80’s. The band released three albums between 1982-1983: Harhaa (1982, originally only on cassette tape), Järjetön maailma (1983) and Siberian Hardcore (1983). Propaganda Records, the oracle of its time, released the Maailma palaa ja kuolee EP when the band was still active, and some single tracks also appeared on Finnish and international compilations.

After re-signing to Nuclear Blast in early 2021, the Finnish heavy metal sextet BATTLE BEAST are once again getting ready to unleash their force upon the world in the shape of their brand new masterpiece »Circus Of Doom«. The album is set to be released on January 21st 2022 via Nuclear Blast and in true BATTLE BEAST fashion, the 10 tracks blend true heavy metal with pop and rock-vibes, paired with Noora Louhimo’s unique voice. »Circus Of Doom« was once again recorded at JKB Studios in Helsinki, Finland and produced and mixed by keyboardist Janne Björkroth, while the stunning artwork was created by Jan Yrlund (KORPIKLAANI, MANOWAR etc.), who already took care of BATTLE BEAST’s previous two album designs.

Having only formed in 2008, BATTLE BEAST first signed a record deal with the renowned German metal label Nuclear Blast in 2011. The release of their acclaimed debut »Steel« (2012), won the band a support slot for their labelmates NIGHTWISH. Frontwoman Noora Louhimo finally joined the band in 2012 and the band’s self-titled record (2013) was released shortly afterwards. BATTLE BEAST then got the opportunity to open for bands such as SONATA ARCTICA and POWERWOLF on extensive runs. Their ascent up the metal ladder was quick and the band’s 3rd studio album »Unholy Savior«, achieved remarkable chart positions all over Europe (#1 Finland, #23 UK Rock, #39 Germany etc.). This release was accompanied by another big European tour, but this time with Swedish heavy metal heroes SABATON and DELAIN. BATTLE BEAST’s very first headline run throughout the Continent rounded off their »Unholy Savior« touring cycle.
Their 4th studio album, »Bringer Of Pain« in 2017 reached even higher chart positions (a.o. #1 in Finland, #14 in Germany) and was also BATTLE BEAST’s first output without their original songwriter Anton Kabanen. In 2019, alongside the huge #1 success in the album charts of their home country, Finland, their last album »No More Hollywood Endings« reached a remarkable #11 in German album charts and proved to be their most successful piece yet.
Their latest masterpiece, »Circus Of Doom«, is overall heavier, but still as catchy as ever with bangers like “Masters Of Illusion”, “Freedom”, or the title track “Circus Of Doom”. Once again, the band stay true to their formula of “100% heavy metal - 0% bullshit!”

The Finns have crafted a top-notch piece of powerful heavy metal with the incomparably strong roars of frontbeast Noora Louhimo, catchy keyboards and earworm invasions. From the opening classical up-tempo opening track, 'Straight To The Heart,' to the last note of the closing ballad 'Far From Heaven,' BATTLE BEAST’s new opus is full of heaviness and emotions. Recorded and produced at JKB Studios by keyboardist Janne Björkroth, the album was also mixed by him alongside Viktor Gullichsen and Mikko Karmila, while mastering was done by Mika Jussila at the world famous Finnvox Studios. “Bombastic and brilliant heavy metal with a killer singer! »Bringer Of Pain« is gigantic!” MYROCK (F) “BATTLE BEAST at their best - majestically melodic and 'Straight To The Heart'!” ROCK IT! (D)

“NO MORE HOLLYWOOD ENDINGS” WILL BLOW YOU AWAY! The eleven featured songs were recorded by keyboardist Janne Björkroth, Viktor Gullichsen and guitarist Joona Björkroth at JKB Studio; the record was also produced and mixed by Janne. Janne stated about »No More Hollywood Endings«, "The heavy songs are heavier, pop-delights brighter, rock vibes stronger, and sounds richer than before. The emotional scale is wider, and everything is bigger." Last but not least, the cover artwork was created by Jan Yrlund (KORPIKLAANI, MANOWAR etc.), who already took care of the »Bringer Of Pain« design.

Hailing from the southern edge of Finland, BATTLE BEAST were founded in 2008 and soon established themselves with their trademark of pure crunching riffs, high screams, blistering solos and strong choruses. “I thirst to go further as a human being and the music on this album represents a part of the ongoing spiritual journey - that's what I tend to I call it - which is my road onward. Music-wise the songs have been expanded to a wider area as an effort to call out emotions close to those I myself had during the times of birth of these songs,” commented guitarist & vocalist Anton Kabanen about »Unholy Savior«. “Like always, I wrote songs about the series "Berserk", as well, and the reason behind writing songs about that particular series is that I can strongly relate to that, especially to certain characters and to their way of thinking and feeling,” Anton adds.

Emerging from the shadows of eastern Poland back in 2015, black metal band Batushka have established themselves as one of the modern era’s most powerful and evocative bands. Harnessing the fire and fury of arcane black metal and channeling it through the reverberant grandeur of ancient rituals of worship, the band’s debut album Litourgiya stood apart from the extreme metal hordes: a monument to originality, depth and dark mysticism that swiftly cast its spell over the metal underground and beyond. Fiercely conceived and audaciously executed, Hospodi takes the epoch-shattering essence of Batushka’s debut to a new level of idiosyncratic intensity. From the mesmerizing chants of the opening “Wozglas” to the blazing bombast of “Dziewiatyj Czas” and the pulsing, dark rock melodrama of “Wieczernia,” this is an album full of wildly dynamic, divergent moments, wherein the band’s otherworldly, inspirational fervor meets the whip-crack precision of 21st century brutality. Perhaps most importantly, Batushka’s deft conjuring of religion’s synaptic shock ‘n’ awe looms large over every scything riff and bellicose scream. By the time fans reach the overpowering climax of the closing Liturgiya, a true Damascene conversion is practically guaranteed

Since their debut, The Frail Tide in 2007, Australian Progressive Death Metal powerhouse BE‘LAKOR has made a huge impact on the international metal scene, turning heads with their technical-driven yet melodic songwriting. Now, almost 15 years later, the legendary five-piece returns with their new album Coherence (out October 29 via Napalm Records), proving themselves to be on top of their game with their most ambitious project yet! Eight tracks on Coherence display BE’LAKOR’s impressive spectrum of musical abilities, ranging from 12-minute-long journeys on “Much More Was Lost” to the atmospheric, fully instrumental “Sweep of Days”. Coherence is full of details that reveal more and more with every listen of the album: BE’LAKOR are not afraid to focus on extensive, cohesive songwriting while still managing to keep the listener on their toes.!

BEAR's sound is a calculated collision of technical precision and unfiltered aggression _ a modern strain of European metal that balances math-inflected complexity with visceral, live-wire intensity. At the core of their identity a combination of brains and brute force. With Anhedonia, Belgian heavyweights BEAR deliver five songs of pure adrenaline and unfiltered heaviness that capture a band confronting the strange emotional vacuum that can follow trauma. Anhedonia is both a battle cry and a confession; a visceral document of resilience carved from years marked by illness, loss, uncertainty, and hard-won perseverance. Musically, Anhedonia represents a sharpened evolution of BEAR's already formidable sound. Known for their intricate rhythms, punishing riffs, and explosive intensity, the band made a conscious decision this time to strip away excess and focus on the core of each song. There is no wasted movement on this EP. Every riff lands with purpose. Every rhythmic shift feels earned. The band trimmed the fat without sacrificing identity, creating space for dynamics and melody to cut deeper than ever before. "The songs are somewhat stripped back, allowing more space for Maarten's vocals to really shine this time around. I feel like we really hit a great balance of maintaining our signature complex sound while also allowing for more experimentation and melody." (James Falck) Anhedonia acknowledges numbness without glorifying it. It confronts pain without being consumed by it. And in doing so, it transforms heaviness into something connective. BEAR have always been a band driven by conviction, and here they stand at their most authentic, vulnerable and ferocious. Together, BEAR create music that feels alive _ tense, volatile, and emotionally charged _ where technicality enhances impact, and heaviness carries genuine vulnerability beneath its surface. The beast is back in black! And it‘s ready to crush the known boundaries of melodic metal!

Beast In Black, the international battalion of ground-breaking melodic metallers, is ready to blow your mind with their third album ominously titled ‘Dark Connection‘.
If you're into melodic and atmospheric heavy metal with an insanely catchy twist, this is the album you're looking for. There's no other creature like this walking the earth. None other bears these sharp edged riffs or piercing choruses. Not with these epic sci-fi, fantasy and cyberpunk stories to tell. Beast In Black is a wholly unique form of heavy metal evolution.
Dark Connection is an album which gathers all the elements from past, present and future of Beast In Black leader, Anton Kabanen. The raw melodic energy of early Battle Beast remains, but now Beast In Black are crafting their own sound within the genre thanks to the utilisation of wildly melodic guitars and multilayered synthezisers.

Remember the glory days of 80's metal? When you could spend hours and hours staring at the cover art of a heavy metal album as you start to discover what all the lyrics are about? Beast In Black is right there with you.Dark Connection is a deeply intricate heavy metal record. As you start to invest time into the songs, you’ll realise that there's something interesting happening at every layer, from the music to the cover art and also the lyrics. It's all tied up into one, to ensure the ultimate audio-visual metal experience.
”It's not a concept album in the traditional sense, but there are a few ongoing themes on the album. One of them might be familiar for fans of Beast-albums from even earlier than Beast In Black”, Anton teases.

”What if I told you that we're back in the world of cyberpunk? Indeed, there are tracks like Highway to Mars and Moonlight Rendezvous, which will let you into the cyberpunk worlds of the Armitage III anime-series and even some Blade Runner themes. In that sense we're back into the themes of the early Battle Beast albums.”
”Cyberpunk is all over the place on Dark Connection. You will feel it in the mood of the album, it's right there in the cover art and we have even carefully prepared a huge music video for you which is visually pure cyberpunk.”
Anton also gives his praises to insanely talented Beast in Black singer Yannis Papadopoulos, who delivers the best vocal performance of his career on Dark Connection.
”It's always a privilege to work with Yannis. He‘s one of those rare singers who can do anything! If he hasn't tried out something before, he figures out the perfect technique to do it in no time.He is a very physical and dedicated singer. He is ready to try 30 different takes on a song if he feels like that's what a perfect result requires. He doesn't just do one or two takes. He does as many as it takes!”
Thirteen songs, a mountain of irresistible melodies and influences from the retro roots of music to a plethora of futuristic themes and atmospheres. Every single song from Dark Connection could be a single. Beast in Black could create a music video for every last track. That's just how much dedication and passion has been immortalised in these songs.

All these moments on Dark Connection won't be lost in time, like tears in rain. Beast is Black has created a lifetime heavy metal exprience. Are you ready to face this eternal beast?
