The lead single off Usher's forthcoming seventh album sported something of a deceptive title; whereas most expected Climax to be about, well, climaxing, the record was more of a denouement, depicting the artist coming to terms with the fact that he and the woman he loved were drifting apart. By contrast, follow-up selection Scream, despite sounding much less like a bedroom burner, is actually about orgasms. Thematically, the record is a lot like Yeah!, but better! With an emphasis on the screaming rather than what's being screamed (and sans guest features). The sound, however, is quite a bit different; in keeping with current audiences' appetites for balls-to-the-wall club bangers, Max Martin goes for broke on the production tip, crafting a pounding, four-on-the-floor instrumental that builds to an explosive, synth-drenched chorus. Needless to say, Terry Raymond IV takes to the track like a fish to water, exhibiting characteristic confidence and sex appeal as he schemes about how to get an alluring female clubgoer into bed. Is Scream a worthy follow-up to Usher's previous release, and is definitely set for the top spot. Big club banger, enjoy the remixes!

First release for this new Fitness CD serie. All the music for people movement !!!! 20 tracks for relax, dance, step.....

Given the tendency of popstrels to emerge fully formed from the ether, the development of North-Londoner Pawws (akasinger-songwriter Lucy Taylor) has undoubtedly been a much-needed breath of fresh air. Describing her sound as 'upsetting disco', her work details trials of love lost and won. Lucy started her career as a live session musician for Kele Okereke and also performed with the likes of MGMT. Her experiences with them led her to write her own tracks, recording them at home and posting them online under her adopted nom de plume. Her first releases gained her a huge amount of attention, heralding praise from the likes of NME and Billboard. Not long after releasing her debut single Time To Say Goodbye / Slow Love she signed a deal with Three Six Zero, a management company partnered with Roc Nation.

Sugar, her debut EP, is coloured by a subtlety of emotion and lingering nostalgia that encapsulates the maturity of her sound, all the while exploring the tempestuousness of relationships. 'I guess the main theme of this EP is the what happens when you continue loving someone, even when you know it is bad for you,' she explains. 'Although the EP is generally about the pitfalls of love I still think it has an element of hope to it, because you only take risks and end up in those situations when you're open with your heart.'

Tango Style Vol. 1 is the latest work of distinctly creative World Music DJ and producer Gülbahar Kültür. Inspired by Tango's passion and sensuality and with a broad, inclusive taste, the selection showcases samples of Tango Fusion where ambient, jazz, pop, funk, techno and electronic elements are perfectly blended. Tango, the dance itself is not just some initial inspiration; the intricacies and interplay within the music itself are the whole lifeblood of dance... This goes exactly the same way for the album: smooth, loungy tunes meet hot dancefloor burners at sharp turns and whimsical nostalgia of pure Tango shines through New-Tango magic created by the new contemporary beat treatment. The line-up of the album consists of artists and groups who have started the Nueva Tango fire and keep it intensely burning... The European Lounge and Nujazz project Club Des Belugas is one of them... and Gotan Project is another name in Tango Style Vol. 1, who, starting their story in 1999, have popularized tango music again at global scale. More to name: there is Oslo, Norway based Sverre Indris Joner's project Electrocutango; Spanish/Argentine Neo-Tango group Otros Aires from Barcelona; Argentine music collective Narcotango; and many times an award winner Debayres. 17 track album undeniably includes the most solid names of the style and their great performances...
