2x February Griessmuhle closing party, it was a Monday during the day I had a hard weekend but I know the last party from Griessmuhle is still running (one day longer already) I ended up playing that night because Tham made the closing with the other synoid resident Acierate in B2B. We ended up doing an eternal afterparty at my place until Wednesday morning when he showed me this track and immediately closed it for KAOS.

Following this iconic moment in the history of contemporary Berlin club culture. Alexander Repro strikes the third tune on KAOS being the first one to made it to such a number. This techno-trance cinematic bomb will make the basements and warehouses shake whenever they let us rave in them. The Soundtrack for the post-corona movement that we all hope is about to come.

Two revered dance music institutions come together here as Pye Corner Audio steps up to Emotional Response with his debut EP for the label. What's more, it is a two-parter with the second half also available now. This one from Martin Jenkins finds him making an homage to the acid house he has always loved with opener 'Stegan Acid' starting with slow grocers and foggy moods run through with subtle 303 modulations. 'Magnetic Acid Three' is another deep and stripped-back sound with rumbling drums and bass coloured with soft acid contours and 'Thermionic Acid' gurgles a little more as the icy hi-hats cut through a mutant deep techno swamp. 'Magnetic Acid One' is one final meditation on acidic house depths.

The fourth release on the "Acid A GoGo" label is a solo from French sympathetic pioneer Acid Up Dub! Get ready for some mental beats!

Founded in 2016, the Molekül label celebrates its fifth anniversary with this compilation that brings together the 6 members of the Parisian crew.

Dancing as an act of rebellion is the first Abraxas LP in collaboration with the Valencian label Soil Records. Abraxas is a halfway project between dark dance electronic music, philosophical reflection, socio-political activism and musical entrepreneurship. This EP brings together four tracks that mix electro and techno with subtle acid touches and a beautiful emphasis on melody. Autoroutes II by Pamplona's III3S (aka SuperSobreSaturado) is the soundtrack for a 21st-Century trip interconnecting continents and generations of Acid-House lovers and ravers. This record is a hard-driving journey into (Ph)uturistic sounds that takes it back to the Old School.
III3S knows that the best road-trips begin and/or end in Chicago (which is, after all, the start-point of the legendary Route 66) and he knows the start-point of any journey into Acid-House is Chicago's Phuture, the legendary masters whose "Acid Trax" created the genre in 1986. And so he is humbled to get remix support on this special edition vinyl release from none other than Phuture members Lothario Lee, Dj Spank-Spank, and Ron Maney aka Dj Skull.

The Chicago legends and Acid-House inventors Dj Spank Spank & Lothario Lee step hard on the throttle by adding reverb and distortion to a crushing 4x4 kick. Viikatory and Manao's "Alt Frequency" EP on A7A features 2 dreamy electro tracks and 3 driving techno tracks. The fifth track is a digital exclusive included with every vinyl record via a digital download code. Each record is hand-stamped and features a stickered artwork on the sleeve.

Beat machine freak duo Bill Converse and Patricia (Max Ravitz) present 380/750, a new EP on Acid Test that blends the two producers’ singular styles to form an emotive “introspection on the dance floor” experience over the course of 4 tracks.

Recorded at Ravitz’s Brooklyn studio over the course of two days, 380/750 features raw, no-multitrack, no-edit live recordings that showcase the duo’s intuition for expressive rhythm tracks. Considering Converse’s roots in the 90’s Michigan rave scene, and Ravitz’s Chicago upbringing, the midwestern strains really shine through. With rhythm-composer mutations, acid dripping over atmospheric synth textures, and the ever-present jack throughout, 380/750 offers a deep sound to get lost in that feels both new and classic at the same time.

On Friday 25th March Parlophone Records release “Remixes” on double CD and triple vinyl LP. The album is an updated version of the 2020 Digital compilation of the same name, featuring mixes that were originally released between 1991 and 2021.

Alongside Kraftwerk’s own remixes, the album includes some of the world’s biggest DJs and Producers, including François Kervorkian, Orbital, Underground Resistance, DJ Rolando, Alex Gopher + Étienne de Crécy, William Orbit and Hot Chip.

Grey Matter - Lost In Thought, originally released in November 1996 on Axia Records as a 5 track EP is now back on vinyl.

Dave Mothersole had this to say in his review of it for Muzik magazine in February 1997.

"Acid Techno, slo-mo Hip Hop breaks, right through to old school, bottom heavy warehouse grooves and Depeche Mode-meets-Juan Atkins purism. The real surprise, here, though, is how thoroughly listenable the whole thing is. Innovative, imaginative, and pretty bloody good."

The Subdermic, AKA Lilly Phoenix, is a Cambridge, U.K. based electronic artist of mixed genre disciplines who first appeared on the electronic music scene in 2010 with her highly rated electronic anthem ‘Electric Cabaret’. Since then, she’s went onto release techno, electro, acid and abstract ambient music over numerous renowned labels around the globe.

Continuing with the ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of releases, on our fiercely independent techno label based in Scotland, we’re very squiggly wiggly proud to present our first ever strictly acid release. And who better to have on it than the educator of acid herself, The Subdermic, with her first ever solo vinyl release.

In her alias as The Subdermic, Lilly has limitless skill in manipulating her veritable vicious machines to do her ethereal acid bidding. Leo was born in 1972 and at the age of 15 discovered his passion for electronic music creating his first loops thanks to his Commodore Vic 20 and 64, spreading his own sound in the city when it was impossible to find in Rome any trace of electronic beats.

Soon after he became a true collector of analogue synthesizers with a serious approach in the study of modular synthesis which led him to develop unique skills as we have recognition of them from his early works for ACV records: Attack Random, Riders Of the Future, Noise Generation, Muta, Cannibald and Aeon are still a milestones for nowadays electronic music aficionados.

1989 marked the birth of The Sound of Rome, when Leo met Lory D in a small garage bringing life to a universal and alternative music movement who diffused Techno Music in Rome and all over Italy, pushing these two wizards behind the decks playing along the like of Dave Clarke, Joey Beltram, Robert Armani and UR among others.
In 1995 Leo decided to cut his relationship with ACV records and moved to Rephlex, Aphex Twin’s record label, starting touring with the Rephlex group after the Void album.

Ten years later Leo recorded his first single for a new project: Cannibald Records. Back to Life main target is to focus on house and techno classics reissue, and the mission continue with the official reissue of 1991 Leo's Noise Generation, a true special record that snaps an unforgettable highlight in the rave scene. BTL004 will be available with a special insert, black version and very limited white press to delight every serious vinyl collector.
