4th Wave appeared on the Techno scene in the mid-90’s and like a comet shone blindingly before quickly passing rarely to be seen again.

Fortunately 2 glorious EP’s were left in its trailblazing wake; the Touched EP for Carl Craig’s Planet E label in 1995 and Attention Please for Kirk Degiorgio’s Op-Art offshoot label in 1996.

This release has been approved by Steve Paton - the producer behind 4th Wave - who wasn’t easy to track down. Lovingly remastered from the original first generation DAT masters, this EP adds a bonus track “Lounge Music” previously released on the Objet’s D’Art III Compilation and never before available on vinyl.

The music is classic golden-age UK Techno. Detroit influenced with a European twist - the original copies are scarce and only available for collectors prices on the used market. This re-issue makes all four 4th Wave Op-Art tracks available to a new generation and collectors alike.

Dark Vektor draws us into his own rendition of Crew Balance's hit, "The moderns like electro," in a vibrant old-school urban key. With powerful rhythms, enveloping melodies, and voices that seem to emerge from the same machine, he transports us to a golden era of electronic music.

White Solar Dog captivates us with his electro acid pop rowdy, where an irresistible melody becomes the lure that traps us and takes us to a state of musical ecstasy from which we don't want to return.

Robot City plunges us into a techno bass sonic universe Detroit-style, where each note is an exploration of the limits of electro. With exceptional elegance and mastery, he creates soundscapes that make us lose track of time and space.

Sentex surprises us with a track designed to make the ground vibrate beneath our feet. His strong, arpeggiated basslines, along with rhythms that hit forcefully, irresistibly drag us towards the frenzy of the dance floor.

Cyberdom takes us on a journey of mental electro, where each note is a step towards the most refined elegance and groove. With voices that flow like ghosts across the dance floor, he creates a hypnotic atmosphere that invites us to move our bodies to the rhythm of his music.

Split DJ transports us to a dystopian future with his uncompromising retro-futuristic electro. With echoes of the most iconic productions of the 2000s, he plunges us into a whirlwind of sounds that make us feel as if we're in the heart of a science fiction film

Face Four is the comeback of Two Phase U in a full EP format, continuing the Face saga started in 2019.

This time the 4 track collection is a trip through different styles and moods, with music ranging from gentle, warm-uppers to main hour bangers. Dark dystopian statements alongside hopeful harmonies and invigorating vocal samples.

Full of golden-era stylistic sound references and the characteristic dynamic grooves of Two Phase U's rythmical approach.

Unconscious, Italian recognised EBM producer, surprises with a sound turn in his latest album “Il Punto di Non Ritorno”, where he ventures into New Beat incorporating touches of dark trance that clearly refer to some of his roots in electronic music. The album showcases the artist’s evolution capacity and highlights his versatility and ability to explore new sounds without losing the EBM and induustrial essence that characterizes and defines his previous works.

Presented in ONE-OFF truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid YELLOW vinyl. All tracks have been specially mastered for vinyl by Daniel Hallhuber at Young and Cold Studios (Germany).

Vom ersten Moment, in dem die Bässe leise aus den Boxen blubbern, es aus allen Ecken britzelt, gluckst, zirpt, blingt, schlurft, schleift und atmet, entwickelt sich "Immunity" zu einem starken und vielschichtigen Album, vollgepackt mit den besten Sounds, die Hopkins je produziert hat. Hauffs Fabric-Mix folgt diesen Regeln und umfasst Techno, Elektro und Industrial-Electronica von den frühen 90ern wie D-Breeze im coolen Autechre-Remix bis zu derzeit heissen Szene-Produzenten wie Magda Rots exklusivem 'Alter Simus' Track. Für die grafische Gestaltung der Kampagne samt der weltweiten Festivalstrecke 2023 zeichnet sich die Berliner Künstlerin Riya Hollings verantwortlich, die Hauffs düsteren Futurismus perfekt einfängt.

Curtis Electronix is proud to present "Destroy Your Future", the new LP from the one and only Galaxian. In the last years Mark Kastner aka Galaxian has become a prominent figure in the underground scene because of his high quality productions and his unique take on electro. We all know electro started with futurism and well, this work is pure futurism. Each cut is a trip into his restless creativity. Each track is a mind altering exploration of a deeply cinematic soundscape with a massive number of elements perfectly fused together with his "one of a kind" sci-fi aestethic that immediately pulls you out of the schemes. Caustic distortions, post industrial environments, mind expanding electronics and primitive drum patterns are only the main elements of this sci-fi masterpiece. There is no "Detroit Nostalgia" in it. This is sonic militance. The same that inspired the originators back in the days. When you play it, time runs faster and future looks closer. We are on board, but Galaxian is the only pilot of the ship.

Patterns of Perception returns with a snapshot of the Finnish scene: a collection of fast psychedelic techno from Helsinki artist HOMI with a slow-burning remix from VC-118A. Recorded at his studio space in Helsinki, HOMI's V?litila EP begins with three tracks of percussive, acid-tinged techno, primed for peak time. The B-side features a remix of the title track V?litila from Dutch-born and now Finland-based VC-118A, delivering a winding, slow-burning counterweight to Homi's dancefloor-oriented original. The digital edition includes a bonus fifth track of quirky breakbeat techno from HOMI titled SmallBisnes. Inspired by fast '90s techno in the vein of Detroit legend Rod Modell, the record is at turns delicate yet powerful, high energy yet melancholic. It also marks a turning point for the artist, coinciding with a shift away from a pure jamming approach and an expansion of his music-making techniques in studio, adding greater depth and complexity to his output.

Synth enchantress Poly Chain returns to Dom Trojga for a smashing full EP release! Hailing from Kiev, she first made a name for herself during the years she spent in Warsaw, releasing her debut LP and becoming a fixture on Poland's underground scene. After returning to Ukraine, she spread her wings further, with exciting releases and regular international appearances only briefly thwarted by the pan-demic. Her long-anticipated EP for Dom Trojga is a treat in her signature style - filled to the brim with incessant, psychedelic arpeggios racing over raw and direct beats. The opener "Kie?" is an unfor-giving electro tune with a huge snare (we like) and tight, unsettling synthwork. "Visa" offers some much-needed hypnotic comfort, and on the flipside, "Acid Regular" hits the floor again with a serious groove, while "Visa Reprise" closes off in a deep, echo-laden fashion. The cover is a drawing by the inimitable Bartosz Zaskórski - an illustrator, sculptor and sound artist, whose uncanny, twisted bio-mechanical visions have been haunting us for years. On “Hearts Utd.”, RX-101 delivers more scorched, crunchy jackhammer beats, combined with emotional, plaintive pads, delivering a classic set of vintage-Rephlex-style bliss, à la AFX, Caustic Window, and Cylob.

We all agree that our next release is long overdue. Good news: up next is an EP by the infamous Bill & Ben duo from the UK. Having released heavy material under various monikers, the two are a dreamteam for our 003. We selected four rare cuts that match the Rota Bene vibe most and restored them from DATS for you. Our third release ranges from punchy dancefloor-orientated stuff, to music simply for the mind.
