CANDLEMASS - a name forged in darkness; a legacy built on doom. Born from the cold shadows of Stockholm in 1985, this Swedish titan of epic doom metal has stood as a monolithic force for nearly four decades. In 2025, CANDLEMASS marks 40 years of sorrow-laden grandeur, a testament to their unwavering reign over the genre they helped shape. Their journey began with the seismic release of “Epicus Doomicus Metallicus” (1986), a requiem that redefined heavy music, followed by the monumental “Nightfall” - both now sacred texts in the annals of doom. These albums remain cornerstones of a genre that thrives in the echoes of CANDLEMASS somber majesty. Despite doom’s reputation for slow, crushing weight, CANDLEMASS themselves show no signs of slowing down. Relentless and untamed, they continue to storm stages worldwide, bringing their towering hymns to devoted Candlemaniacs from Tokyo to Los Angeles. With Grammy win in Sweden and a U.S. Grammy nomination in 2019, the band’s fire still burns with undiminished intensity. Originally released in 2009, “Death Magic Doom” is the tenth studio album from CANDLEMASS.

Magic Mountain is the fourth studio album by American rock band Black Stone Cherry.

The album debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 13,000 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release. It debuted in the United Kingdom at No. 5.

Produced, engineered, and mixed by Joe Barresi (Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age), this 15-song set unabashedly reflects the band’s biggest influences -- Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and Whitesnake
-- but places them in a 21st century post-grunge, hard rock context.

Magic Mountain assembles all of BSC’s strengths cohesively.

From swaggering blues-metal of opener “Holding on... to Letting Go” to closing track “Revolutionize”. Magic Mountain comes close to the kind of excitement Black Stone Cherry generate live, and showcases their most refined songwriting skills.

Magic Mountain is available on vinyl for the first time ever as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on gold & purple marbled vinyl. It contains no less than 2 bonustracks & has revised artwork.

UNIQUE CHRISTMAS It is something very special when the legends of jazz put their (Christmas) robe over well-known Christmas carols and then let them shine in new splendor. This is true for the virtuoso instrumentalists on saxophone, trumpet, piano, clarinet and vibraphone as well as for the great voices of jazz. The intelligent arrangements exude the magic of Christmas without any kitsch, but still with a lot of feeling, charm and extraordinary skill. For all those who like to do without the classical Christmas singing and are bored by the pop monotony, Jazz On Christmas is the alternative to create a very unique Christmas atmosphere.

Frank Sinatra - The Voice, Bing Crosby - Mr. Christmas, and Elvis Presley - The King: These legendary ar- tists have each left a lasting mark on the holiday season with their smooth classics, iconic hits, and rock ‘n’ roll cheer, bringing warmth and joy to Christmas celebrations worldwide.

TOP 10 IN THE VINYL CHARTS* Since the 1950s, especially in America, there has been renewed excitement every year to see who will land the next Christmas hit. Many music le- gends have joined in the hunt for the number 1 song at Christmas. As a result, many new Christmas songs and interpretations were created, which have now become the songbook of modern Christmas Classics and have partially replaced the classic Christmas music. Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

BEST SELLERS IN VINYL CHARTS* Rather Christmas party than con- templative get-together? Rather mulled wine than hot milk and New York instead of Nuremberg? Then Santa Claus has the right soundtrack for your Winter Wonderland. The Christmas classics of the big stars for the most wonderful time of the year with the guarantee of entertaining, enjoyable and merry Christmas mood. Run, Rudolph Run!

THE FIRST LADY OF SONG With her extraordinary voice, Ella Fitzgerald be- came a legend during her lifetime. She is considered one of the best singers of all time. Yet Ella actually wanted to become a dancer. However, she was too nervous to dance at a dance competition and sang instead. She won the first prize. The rest is history. With her Christmas album „Ella Wishes You A Swinging Christmas,“ Fitzgerald pioneered and paved the way for modern Christmas music. Everything that came af- ter would have been unthinkable without her. Rolling Stone lists the album first on its „40 Essential Christ- mas Albums“ list. This version also includes two bonus tracks: „Christmas Island“ and a medley.

HOLLY JOLLY A good shot of swing, a splash of Las Vegas, served on a silver platter by world stars Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. create a very special Christmas mood. With all the important Christmas songs and some extraordinary treats, the Rat Pack transforms Christmas into an ent- ertaining party with ‚Holly Jolly Christmas‘. The genius of Sinatra, the charm of Dean Martin and the non- chalance of Sammy Davis set standards as the Rat Pack to this day for an extraordinary entertainment cul- ture and the realization of the „American Dream“. Oh, By Gosh, By Golly It‘s Time For Mistletoe And Holly...

THE KING ON CHRISTMAS Elvis‘ Christmas Album is one of the absolute clas- sics of Christmas albums. Released for the first time in 1957, it has been as much a part of Christmas as the Christmas tree and mulled wine ever since. To this day, Elvis‘ Christmas Album is the best-selling Christmas album in the world and also one of the best-selling albums of all time.

TOP 10 IN THE VINYL CHARTS* Frank Sinatra has released a number of Christmas albums and singles in his career. His program has become a perennial favorite and indispensa- ble at the holidays. The incomparable interpretation of Christmas classics by THE VOICE accompanied by elaborate orchestral arrangements has retained its unique charm to this day and still accompanies every swinging Christmas.

CHRISTMAS & NEW ORLEANS Louis Armstrong set standards in jazz with both the trumpet and his extraordinary voice, influencing all generations to come. Armstrong loved the Christmas season, the festive spirit and Santa Claus. This joy is reflected in his Christmas recordings. With his dazzling trumpet solos and distinctive, raspy and unique voice, Armstrong‘s Christmas songs continue to enrich music selections for the holiday to this day. Complemented by outstanding Christmas songs by his companions Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Dinah Washington, Les Brown, Dean Martin, Louis Jordan, Peggy Lee and The Dukes of Dixieland, Christmas becomes COOL YULE!

MR. CHRISTMAS In the beginning there was White Christmas and the Christmas albums of Bing Crosby. Everything else came after and can hardly compete with that success. Bing Crosby‘s sig- nature song White Christmas is still the best-selling single of all time, with 50 million units sold. The song, composed by Irving Berlin, first appeared in Crosby‘s film Holiday Inn. The composition won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 15th Academy Awards. The song was so successful that it topped the charts again year after year, 16 times in the USA alone. The same goes for Crosby‘s Christmas albums. The records, which have been repeated over the past 70 years, have accompanied many generations and have become an integral part of Christmas. Christmas without Bing Crosby, without White Christmas would be something like doing without a Christmas tree, mulled wine or presents. So let‘s rather not try it!

GOSPEL CHRISTMAS Mahalia Jackson is considered the greatest gospel singer of all time. Her goal was to proclaim God‘s word through song. She ushered in the Golden Age of Gospel between 1945 and 1965. Jackson was the first gospel artist to tour Europe. She appeared regularly on tele- vision and radio programs and sang for many presidents and heads of state, including the national anthem at John F. Kennedy‘s inauguration in 1961. At a time when segregation was pervasive in American society, she had great success. She sold an estimated 22 million records, but still had trouble hailing a cab or sim- ply being able to buy something in stores. Her gospel interpretation of Silent Night is still one of the most soulful and impressive versions of the famous Christmas song. The album of the same name is still a classic today and remains unsurpassed.

HO, HO, HOWDY! Cowboys also celebrate Christmas! The biggest country stars present the most beautiful Christmas songs in country style, of course. A treat for all country fans, as well as for lovers of cozy Christmas atmosphere in the style of American Nashville romance. With punch and turkey, banjo and harmonica, fiddle and mandolin, Santa Claus can set off in a good mood. If you‘ve always wan- ted to spend the most wonderful time of the year with Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Chet Atkins and many other country greats, The Country Christmas Album will fulfill your Christmas wish

In
diesem Repertoire kommt die berühmte Farbpalette von Jean-Yves Thibaudet in „Der verträumte Fisch“
bis zu den äußerst beliebten „Gymnopédies“ perfekt zur Geltung.

Secret Soul Society aka Cal Gibson backs up his already assured reputation for being something of an edit maestro here. 'Julians Cabbages' kicks off with dubby downtempo drums and some lovely twinkling arps. 'Make It All True' then refracts a shimmering vocal and some nice musical percussion around a lazy groove and 'Finally Got My Life Together' has a dreamy feeling and widescreen synth architecture. 'Next To You' shuts down with more textured bass and another weird yet wonderful vocal sample.

What's Not To Love? is an album of music from John C. Reilly's vaudeville-inspired show where he embodies a character called Mister Romantic. Mister Romantic marks the Academyr, GRAMMYr, and TONYr award nominee's most personal project to date. The show, which was created to foster empathy and love for one another, has been described by Vanity Fair as "fiercely funny," while Theaterly hailed it as one of the best performances of 2024 following a one-night show in New York City. John is backed by a band of multi-time GRAMMYr-winners performing songs from the Great American Songbook as his character sets out on a mission to get someone (anyone!) to fall in love with him.

McKinley Dixon’s Durchbruch begann in 2021 mit dem vielgeliebten "For My Mama and Anyone Who Look Like Her" und setzte sich 2023 mit "Beloved! Paradise!

Harri Pearson is referred to as 'the Most Balearic Man in The World' and goes someway to prove that here on Magic Wand. 'Sweet Machine' is a lively disco cut with plenty of raw machine sounds, elements of peak-time party flavours and fat synths. 'Drums Of Fire' flips the script with a much more chilled out and exotic downtempo offering and 'Acid Reign' is a real dreamy excursion on bongo-laced drums. 'Trash Dubbing' brings a little grit and sleaze to close.

Blur celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Magic Whip with a special edition vinyl release, featuring new cover artwork by original designer Tony Hung. A reimagining of the iconic ice cream cover with added gold foil and embossed details, the new format is presented in a gatefold sleeve and available as a half-speed mastered, single gold disc for the first time. The Magic Whip is Blur's eighth studio album and includes the tracks Ghost Ship, Go Out, Lonesome Street, and Ong Ong. This was previously RSD stores & D2C exclusive

A tribute to one of Canada’s biggest ever rock bands, this album is filled with covers of classic tunes by the likes of Slash, Dorothy, Dee Snider, Sebastian Bach, and more. All produced by famed producer Mike Clink (Guns and Roses)

"Music was his passion. His life, his love_ his all." Book-ended by the two parts that make up the album's centrepiece, "Opus Imperfectus", Maestro is Magic Pie's long-awaited 6th studio album, years in the making... "Maestro! Where did you go? People ask and I need to know." Does life imitate art, or is it the other way around? Magic Pie is a Norwegian progressive rock band formed in 2001, known for their intricate compositions, symphonic arrangements, and blend of vintage and modern influences. Highly regarded in the international prog community, Magic Pie's music explores themes of introspection, existentialism, and human emotion. Drawing inspiration from bands like Dream Theater, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Kansas, Deep Purple, Yes and many more - their music incorporates complex time signatures, lush keyboards, and dynamic guitar work, mixing elements of symphonic rock, jazz, and even folk. Fronted by the charismatic Icelandic singer and lyricist Eirikur Hauksson and "maestro-mind" & composer Kim Stenberg, Magic Pie continues to strive for higher & bigger musical conquests. "Follow your vision, fulfill your dream".

With the reissue of ''Magic" the circle of the works originally published by Eyes Records and composed in the earliest 80s by Celso Valli is completed: Future State, Blue Gas and now precisely Five Sinners !!! Best Record thus creates ''the triplet'' of the Italo-Disco operas made by the immense musician from Bologna, who used various nicknames at that time - as the trend of the main Italian arrangers - feeling 'a certain shame' in making commercial pieces, songs that were danced in the discos. He hid under dozens of pseudonyms (Adal-Scandy, Azoto, Bulldog Lama, Sandon, Super Band....) ''Magic'' and ''Precious Lies'' kept hidden, almost buried for over 40 years (but with many followers abroad) now shine their own light! Indeed. To further enrich this latest vinyl production by Claudio Casalini there is - in addition to the successful artwork of graphic designer Nerina Fernandez - the new captivating version of ''Magic'' (timing 6'20'') skillfully remixed by the talented Italian-Australian DJ-producer Dave Mathmos. In short, a 12-inch reissue not to be missed for both collectors and club DJs.

Originally released in 2001 under a wrong name due to a pressing plant mix up. Expanded reissue made possible due to Skee Mask's accurate digging.

Rinse France branches out with a brand new label of its own and who better to inaugurate it than Paris-based Beatrice M. The producer makes a knowing nod to dubstep's golden era on this debut with the first version of 'Magic.' It is built on steppy rhythms with seriously wobbling basslines that are all-consuming. Glitchy effects and shimmering synths finish it in style and leave you dreaming of dubstep dances gone by. The B-side is a Techno Mix that reimagines the original with a driving four-on-the-floor rhythm and plenty of richly atmospheric pads.

Magic Water Records proudly returns with its second release featuring Dutch artist Nathan Homan. His “Lost Stop” EP delivers four club-ready (techno-)house tracks in his signature style, limited to 300 copies. Vinyl only.

“Music is the weed that keeps popping out of the concrete in my life. It just seems to want to come out.” –Jeff Bridges

Extensive booklet including liner notes by Sam Sweet, new interviews with Jeff Bridges, and never-before-seen archival photos.

Featuring Burgess Meredith (Rocky, Batman), members of Oingo Boingo, and assorted characters from the West Los Angeles art and music underground
Culled from a single decaying cassette tape labeled “July 1978,” these recordings are a window into the secret musical life of the Dude. Even after becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Bridges spent all his free time jamming and recording with a trusted circle of musicians composed of childhood friends, artists, and assorted L.A. oddballs.

Imagine The Band playing at CBGB with The Exploding Plastic Inevitable. Or Arthur Russell and the Talking Heads collaborating on a suite of mutant disco. Though Bridges and his friends were brought up around the movie industry, they decided to create their own private musical universe, where they could be as weird as they wanted.

Their music opens a portal to a hidden world of outlandish creativity and camaraderie in 1970s Los Angeles. It’s the missing piece of his musical evolution, revealed here for the first time in all its joyful abandon.

Blurring the lines between the mundane and the mystical, ESKA’s latest album, ‘The Ordinary Life of a Magic Woman’, is a profound exploration of motherhood, artistry, and the delicate dance between daily rhythms and creative transcendence. For ESKA, these aren’t opposing forces—they’re inseparable threads in a richly woven life.

“It’s the sound of a first-generation, middle-aged African British woman living in post-everything Southeast London,” ESKA reflects.

After two decades of trailblazing collaborations with world-renowned artists – Moses Sumney, Grace Jones, Radiohead and Baxter Dury, to name a few - along with various accolades - including a Mercury Prize Nomination, ESKA’s new album stands as her most personal and compelling work yet. A self-directed journey, it sees her embracing her ultimate creative partner: herself.

Rooted in her eclectic musical upbringing, ESKA pulls inspiration from the sounds and influences that have defined her journey, breaking free of conventional boundaries. The result is a body of work that defies easy categorisation—bold, dynamic, and unmistakably hers.
