Put Your Head Above The Parakeets’ is a brand new EP from HAAi, her second for Mute.

The EP features four brand new tracks including the pseudo title track ‘Head Above The Parakeets’, which exudes a woozy summery heat while ‘Rotating in Unison’ embraces positivity, written in
response to this year’s enforced slowdown.

The final two tracks take us back to the club, where HAAi is known for spinning genre-bending and spellbinding DJ sets.

The EP is available on green vinyl and includes a digital download code.

'Chris Carter's Chemistry Lessons Volume One.1: Coursework' was created using a newly-formed piece called 'Bongo Glow' and reworkings of three tracks from the original album.

'Bongo Glow', a work in progress at the time, was finished using the same processes as 'CCCLV1' so that it could appear on the Japanese release of the album.

The additional three reworkings were created without direct instruction as an experiment to see how they changed with input from external sources.

Als Gründungsmitglied von Throbbing Gristle - gemeinsam mit Cosey Fanni Tutti, Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson und Genesis Breyer P-Orridge -, spielte Chris Carter eine signifikante Rolle in der Entstehung elektronischer Musik, eine Reise, die Carter als Teil von Chris & Cosey und Carter Tutti respektive Carter Tutti Void und in seinen Soloarbeiten bis heute fortsetzt. Die Verknüpfung von traditioneller Musik und Elektronik sind jene Momente, die die Musik von CCCL Volume 1 an das Schaffen von Throbbing Gristle rückbinden.

Mit "NOMC15" erscheint nun eine Art Deluxe Album des letzten Studioalbums "Music Complete" von New Order als Live-Version. Zum VÖ des Albums spielte die Band aus Manchester zwei Shows in der Brixton Academy London. Eine wahrlich großartige Live-Aufnahme eines der beiden ausverkauften Konzerte erscheint nun als Doppel-CD und 3-fach LP auf MUTE!

A Certain Ratio aus Manchester repräsentieren beispielhaft die Ästhetik und Kultur der Postpunk-Explosion der späten Siebziger. Mute schickt sich nun an, den Katalog der Band in einer mindestens länger währenden Veröffentlichungsoffensive erneut verfügbar zu machen. Die Reihe beinhaltet das Debüt "The Graveyard And The Ballroom", das im Original im Dezember 1979 auf Factory Records veröffentlicht wurde. Es erscheint als limitierte Vinyl-Edition mit einem farbigen PVC-Sleeve inklusive CD- und, analog zur Erstveröffentlichung, Kassettenbeilage. Gleichzeitig erscheinen die Alben "To Each" (1981) und "Force" (1986) auf farbigen Vinyl und als CD.

On the other side we have "Matias Muten" track, his blasting live sets are an exquisite reference in Uruguay. When talking about live performances, Matias is a must.
This work from both artists will try to tell with their analog, eclectic, bumping sounds how's the deal down in Uruguay with experienced producers.
Ideal to play it both sides on the same DJ set, they in some way complement each other, as if the story to tell is the same.
