It's our great pleasure to welcome Spanish duo NX1 back onto the label following their Earwiggle debut in 2019. Much has changed in the world since then but in the world of NX1, Samot and Surit's commitment to tense sonic combat remains resolute. The "Shaked Ear" EP is some of their most accomplished work to date, and a fresh follow-up to their recent debut album on Nexe Records. Raw acid lines, earth-shaking bleeps, fizzing distortion, murky vocals and a melange of sweeping kick patterns are just some of the key ingredients on display over this crushing 5-tracker. Once again finding a unique place within hard-edged rhythmic techno and industrial, with an atmosphere all of its own, NX1 are back to shake the dancefloor to its core.

We have 50 copies from the 100 copies pressed. Special edition limited to 100 copies including black vinyl Featuring 2 remixes from NX1 and Geistform.

For this occasion we have an original song by the well-known artist The Hacker, who this time signs it with his alter ego Amato in which he has already published on labels such as Pinkman, Return to Disorder (Helena Hauff), Cititrax….

The rest of the Ep is completed with three remixes. One of the increasingly powerful Years of Denial that have made a voice adaptation. On the other hand, there are the world-renowned Spaniards within the Esplendor Geométrico industrial scene. And to finish a remix of Orlok 101 with a more track-focused theme.

The label BARRO returns with its twelfth release, reaffirming its commitment to vinyl culture and uncompromising club music.

This time, the spotlight is on Nebula Circuit, delivering a series of tracks that navigate between EBM, techno, and electroclash, all sharply designed for the dancefloor.

BARRO #12 vinyl release features four tracks:

• Three original productions by Nebula Circuit, where electronic darkness merges with tense rhythms and incisive basslines.

• A remix by Orlok 101, pushing the material into an even more abrasive, machine-driven territory that strengthens the label’s underground identity.

A Statement of Intent:

The Horrorist, legend amongst lengends, brings us a hypnotic and trippy story very of his style.

Millimetric, one of the highest French Electro's representatives, delights us with a booming dance floor focused track.

VCO a.k.a Artik, Tresor's resident, debuts in the label with his first production.

Exterminador has recently published an EP in Marcel Dettman's new label (Bad Manners) and he has created another dancefloor designed bomb for our reference.

Orlok 101, a regular in BARRO, joins us once again with a track filled with touches of Electro, EBM and the Sound of Valencia.

Least but not last, Nöle, boss of the label, closes the compilation with a hard and speeding electro-techno-rave track.

After arriving at the reference number 10 of their particular catalog, NX1 returns to their self-titled label starting a new series called 'Utter'. Conceived as an archive of their own material, 'Utter' will now be where many of their works came out with 4 cuts on each EP, making room for the wide range of compositions that characterizes them.

Coming off of EP releases on Dynamic Reflection and 100% Pure, Uun returns to his label Ego Death for it's third release, and it's first on vinyl. The title track references Carl Sagan's classic work of skepticism Demon Haunted World. It features a percussive attack that builds into a swirling tornado of distorted synths and hihats. The Scarlet Martyr takes a different approach that is heavy on pads and atmospheric elements all over a bed of field recordings. The B side starts with NX1's remix of the title track. This interpretation chops up the synth and percussive elements into a broken beat onslaught that builds into the track being deconstructed piece by piece. The final track Dominions continues in the broken beat direction with a more straightforward dancefloor approach.
