High Octane is a timeless, driving EP from the 313. While 'Detroit Electronics' is on the single tip, it's 'Interplay' that will appease the 4am dance crowd. 'Electroit' is a classic left-field B Side, but for some collectors, the gliding sounds of 'Electricity' will serve as the main attraction. Die „Drei-Amigos“-Ära von Motörhead – Lemmy (Bass/Gesang), Fast Eddie Clarke (Gitarre) und Phil „Philthy Animal“ Taylor – schlossen sich zusammen und begannen ihre außergewöhnliche Reise an die Spitze der Hardrock-Elite. Im August 1976 traf sich die Band im legendären Manticore Studio von Emerson, Lake & Palmer in Fulham, um zu proben und die neue Besetzung zu präsentieren. Dort nahmen sie zum ersten Mal gemeinsam auf. 49 Jahre später wurde das lange verschollene Band entdeckt, entstaubt und in all seiner Pracht restauriert, um das 50-jährige Bandjubiläum zu feiern. 'EPM20 – EP 2’ turns the spotlight on electro. For this special EP, we’ve gathered brand new tracks by The Advent & Zein Ferreira, Carl Finlow, Detroit’s Filthiest and Modulator a.k.a. Freddie Fresh. As all good electro-heads will know, The Advent (Cisco Ferreira) is as renowned for electro as he is for techno. On ‘Strangeform’ he works alongside his son and rising talent, Zein to turn in pure electro-funk that’s blistering to the last beat. Another absolute master of the scene is Carl Finlow who brings deep bass notes, carefully crafted melody and his meticulous production skills to ‘Optogenetic’. Detroit’s Filthiest has been wowing listeners with his work for labels like Casa Voyager, Bass Agenda, Philthtrax and his own MCEC. His track ‘Werewolf’ is the electro monster the title suggests – dark and tough Detroit-electro book-ended with a playful vocal. The EP closes with the legendary, Freddie Fresh who after three decades is a genuine virtuoso. Under his Modulator guise he layers beautiful retro synth stylings and sci-fi atmospherics on ‘ProMars’. The third EP featuring four house tracks will follow in July, with the ‘EPM20’ compilation after the summer.

Release number 052 sees the much anticipated return of Phil:osophy. The combined efforts of Philth and Phil Tangent result in their most exciting work to date, aptly titled the Meditation EP. Four killer gems, all completely unique, span cinematic journeys, swing grooves, textured layers, slick beats and a special homage to the original intelligent era.

Als in den Neunzigern Punk durch Bands wie Green Day und The Offspring sein großes melodisches Revival
erlebte, bedeutete das auch den endgültigen Durchbruch für NOFX. Das kalifornische Trio hatte sich schon
1983 gegründet, schuf 1994 mit "Punk In Drublic" einen bis heute unvergesslichen Skatepunk-Klassiker und
avancierte spätestens mit seinem siebten Studioalbum, "So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes", zum
Punkrock-Schwergewicht. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Formationen weigerten sich NOFX jedoch
resolut, Kapital aus dem wieder erwachten Interesse an Punk zu schlagen. Angebote von Majorlabels wurden
daher konsequent ausgeschlagen. Bis "Pump Up The Valuum" im Jahr 2000 auf den Markt kam, standen
NOFX bei Epitaph unter Vertrag, dann wechselten die Kalifornier zu Fat Wreck Chords, dem Label von
Bassist und Sänger Fat Mike. Zum Ausstand veröffentlichte Epitaph 2004 die Kompilation "The Greatest
Songs Ever Written (By Us)". Die Zusammenstellung enthielt Evergreens wie "Linoleum", "Reeko", "All Outta
Angst", "Bob", "Leave It Alone", "180 Degrees", "Kill All The White Man" oder "The Longest Line" in neu
gemasterten Fassungen. Epitaph bringt die Sammlung nun erstmals auf Vinyl heraus.

Artificial Intelligence's second studio album, and first for Metalheadz, was released just over 2 years ago, and we're now proud to present the remix package curated by the guys themselves.

The EP features remixes from Phil:osophy (Phil Tangent & Philth), SCAR and Zero T as well as two further digital bonus tracks from AI themselves and Deft, with some of the best 'Timeline' cuts given a new leash of life for 2018.
