For COS_MOS's next trick they serve up a special 12” that features a brand new single from M>O>S super group R-A-G, also known as MaSpaventi, Aroy Dee and G-String. It comes backed with a re-release of one of the key tracks of the previously released Crystal Maze album on aDepth Audio. A fierce and full 45rpm re-cut of 'Dr Claw' that has been a secret weapon of Aroy Dee for many years. It's a raw cosmic adventure, with warm solar winds blowing over prickly drums. Twisted bass and knotted pads wrap round the groove as a detuned lead synth heads into a Legowelt-ish future. 'Larry Venom', stirs things up with a deconstructed, off kilter mix of beeps and drones with marching drums adding to the feeling that this is a robot party in meltdown. This is a brilliantly left of centre EP of intergalactic house.

The Tribe of Good are the secret weapons behind your favourite chart hits. The super group steered by Grammy-nominated producer Hal Ritson (Chemical Brothers, Katy Perry, Duke Dumont, High Contrast) features an array of producers who have worked with the likes of Nas, Cee Lo, Taylor Swift, alongside a cast of musicians such as Basement Jaxx singer Vula Malinga and Jamiroquai guitarist Rob Harris to highlight a few.

A product of the transformative power of dance music, Ede moved Berlin after he experienced something magical while dancing to Ame at
Berghain. So enchanted was he by the pivotal moment that he set his sights on making music to be released by Innervisions… And that happened
three years later when his track ‘Jenny’ made it into the label’s ‘Secret Weapons 11’ compilation. Ede’s dark, new wave style has also
piqued the interest of Jennifer Cardini, who signed his music to a V/A on her Correspondant Music label recently. Now the producer joins the
TAU family for a full EP, featuring four original cuts.
‘Raum’ jumpstarts the collection with menacing allure. Whirring analogue forms the core of this deadly track, keeping it tight in the low end
while various layers of synth fizz and snarl. An urgent riff joins the fray, adding depth and energy. Across almost 10 minutes Ede showcases his
ability to create a dark atmosphere and imbue his music with spinetingling theatrics. Fans of the riff will be pleased to find a beatless version of
‘Raum’, which will be useful for creating dramatic moments during DJ sets no doubt.
On side B, ‘Zeit’ brings the pace down slightly. A melancholy synth line evokes feelings of sorrow, while the beat pumps along. Ede uses the full
8 minutes of this track to really build the tension, finally unleashing it halfway through. This could easily be used on the soundtrack for a cyborg
action movie set in the future.
Last up, ‘Unendlichkeit’ is a further demonstration of Ede’s love of futurism, new wave and film noir circa 2080. Here he tells a story with the
machines, each one adding their contribution to the narrative which gets more and more chaotic as the tune progresses.
A very impressive EP, and we’re sure you’ll agree it’s something quite special.

Justin @Cudmore's 'Are You Ready' is the track that's making you stay at the party long after you started saying you should really get home. Justin tells us that 'Are You Ready' is the result of some early experimentation with the studio setup in his old apartment and one of the first white label acid tracks he began playing out, even before his popular debut for The Bunker NY, 'Forget It' was released. 'The elements came together quickly in an afternoon session -- I had been recently inspired by a trove of acapellas I'd come across. I would say this is when arranging the track really clicked and I started truly assembling it with the dance floor in mind.' Over the next two years, the track became a secret weapon that made its way into the hands of DJs like Craig Richards, Mike Servito, Jackmaster, Derek Plaslaiko and Gerd Janson, becoming something of a sleeper hit.

gewesen. Schlussendlich aber haben wohl die gefühlten 12000
Jahre Danceoor-Erfahrung der beteiligten Protagonisten die
EP benannt. Dass das Ganze dabei absolut fresh rüberkommt,
steht außer Frage. Den Auftakt zu der Mini-Compilation liefern
Tino Bohne und Benjamin Brunn aka The Hangout Project mit
- I´m crazy about you', einer charmanten Elektronik-Nummer,
die durch ein wunderschön und dezent eingesetztes VocalSample sowie einer sowas von überraschend loslegenden 4/4-
Bassline überzeugt. Diese erinnert auch sofort daran, dass
man zum tanzen auf der Welt ist. Weiter geht es mit Le
Rubriques Abenteuern in der - Bar Celona'. Ob diese nun in
Katalonien oder Hessen steht, weiß man nicht. Die Tonart ist
auf jeden Fall nach Frankfurter Art, so dass der Bembel bebt.
Kez YM ist sowieso egal, in welcher Region oder Galaxie sich
etwas bendet. Mit - CL05VER06' lässt er Raum und Zeit auf
jeder Tanzäche links und rechts der Milchstraße zerießen,
wie es auf unserem Planeten noch am ehesten die großen
Meister in Michigan zelebrieren. Und dass Johannes Albert
seinen ganz eigenen - Style of House' hat, sollte nun wirklich
jeder wissen. Ob in der Waldschänke Dornheim oder im Boiler
Room Amsterdam! Check!

Negentropy presents the first ever EP from Zweizig, hailing from the North of England he has crafted his sonic weaponry in secret, until today. After a brief wander 'round the garden, Chilean-born Ricardo Tobar returns to the ESP Institute bearing earthly delights. With 2017's Liturgia, he introduced his creative point-of-view—instantly substantiating a sense of rhythm that was deliberately complex yet slightly rough around the edges, while touching upon his musical origins from the guitar-driven corners of psychedelia— however with his debut 2xLP Continuidad, he leaves us gobsmacked and seeking shelter as he leaps from dancefloor comforts and descends into absolute chaos (in more ways than one). Emotionally, the artist has crossed all previously self-imposed and subconscious thresholds, putting his true imagination on display and exposing an unwavering attraction to all things loud, orgasmic and transcendent. He's not subtly hinting at a fetish, but opening his arms wide with conviction, abandoning genre taboos and personally inviting everyone to join his enchanted caravan. Sonically, his appetite for intensity is clear throughout—epic chord changes, ascending peaks in arrangement, accumulating layers of grit that build into impenetrable blankets of distortion and feedback—a kind of aural hedonism that translates visually into the potent video abstractions our Mario Hugo has summoned for the album's packaging. This follow-up single surrounding the Continuidad album boasts the dirty little secret Bailemix of album track Recife—we wont go as far as uttering the 'T' word, but this is unbridled merciless tops-off festival gear for the massive. The flipside is another exclusive non-album cut Cuatro Meses De Verano, a rhythmic build-up that breaks into a low-slung funky stomper, Tobar's idea of a warm-up weapon.

Time for something a little different from Cosmic Pint Glass' secret weapon Dom IV. Nothing Happens is a strangley poignant DIY/pop song, with two versions of the title track. Its the first in a series of 7 from CPG. Ltd to 200 with painted sleeves by Liam Buckley.

Ground is an Osaka native, but his soul is truly that of a nomad, traversing the planet, befriending kindred spirits found in humans, animals and plants. He is exceptionally receptive to the beauty in everything that surrounds him—the incidental music of a city street, the orchestral chaos of a scrambling radio, the syncopated grace of migrating birds, the simplicity of an isolated hand clap—and as his roadmap continuously unfolds, he accumulates a vast catalogue of visceral tools to musically recount his experiences. Sunizm is a cross section of the artist's process—an array of complex microcosms overlapping to comprise a thematic whole—gathering field recordings, found instruments, jagged electronics, synthesized chanting, and weaving all into a dense narrative that appears obsessively constructed yet divinely improvised. Logos is the first of two singles surrounding the album and is complimented with a monster remix by Bartellow (a fellow ESP artist, collaborator and good friend of Ground) as well as a secret weapon b-side entitled Discopazzle, which is exclusive to this single release. Calypso's next EP comes from one of the label's owners, Thomass Jackson. Delivering 3 tracks full of psycodelic guitars, analog synths, soothing percussions and with Italians "Boot & Tax" on remix duties, this Ep covers a broad range of sounds and styles. The journey begins with the westernesque "Head Rejection" sumerging us in a hallucinatory desert full of weird snakes and scorpions. Up next is "Witzelsutch"(a leftfield secret weapon for some djs already) with sublow basses and sharp synths doing all the work. "Creepy PC" is a slow chugger with a trance-inducing vibe aimed to make you close your eyes and let go. Rabotnic is back to Paragram with new interesting project Raborb. Victor Lihonosov and Alexander Kuredenko are Raborb, Moscow based duo founded in 2015. Rabotnic is one of those standout names amongst the current wave of young Russian producers and Orbet supertalented producer who have a lot of secret weapons. Greek producer Markos Spanoudakis aka Kreon has made really nice remix.

Secretsundaze's 021 comes in the shape of a 2 tracker from Endian. For those that don't know Endian is the house/techno alias of George Levings most famously known as Commix (Metalheadz). Endian was of course responsible for the huge 'Finish Me' on Secretsundaze in 2015 which was included on mixes by the likes of Joy Orbison, Tessela and Scuba.As Endian he has released first rate tracks on the likes of Non Plus, Electric Minds and Trevino's Birdie imprint.Global EP' his 2nd EP for the label see's Endian back in fine form. 'XS-10' is a futuristic, hypnotising burner that in the hands of the right DJ is sure to be a deadly weapon. On the flip title track 'Global' is a warmer, deeper free flowing track with musical flourishes that will keep the party moving.
