Reissue. Dead Rock Commandos is the fifth studio album by Greek band Nightstalker, released in 2012. The album is considered a milestone in the European stoner rock scene, characterized by heavy riffs, groovy rhythms, and a "raw rock 'n' roll" attitude. The release blends desert rock sounds with psychedelic influences and classic hard rock à la Black Sabbath.

Green vinyl, limited to 300 copies. "Water Ritual" is the second jam we did during a five-hour session in Joshua Tree on April 20th, 2024, at Gatos Trail Studios. I had just picked up a new pedal called "The Fable," and it's all over this track. It's a delay with all kinds of crazy repeat options. When we mixed it, I wanted portions of the song to have a '70s dub reggae feel. So Dan at Gatos hooked up his Echoplex to the board and nailed that sound. Whilst every effort has been made to record the subject in as great a degree of isolation as possible, the sound recordings you will hear on this record were made in a real working hospital and not under controlled conditions. Therefore, on occasion, you may hear some unavoidable background noise, conversations and other extraneous sounds.

All recordings were made by Mark Vernon at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, Stirling Community Hospital and Falkirk Community Hospital between 2011 and 2013.
