Mit dabei sind mehrere musikalische Mitwirkende, darunter Luke Temple (Here We Go Magic), Ash Reiter (Sugar Candy Mountain), James Barone (Beach House) und Andy Rauworth (Gauntlet Hair).

Jon Schaffer's Sons of Liberty - Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) is a bold new mix that fuses the raw essence of the "Brush-fires of the Mind" LP (2009) and the "Spirit of the Times" EP (2011), breathing fresh life into a message that has proven eerily prophetic in an era of escalating world challenges. " Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) " is out now on all streaming platforms, inviting listeners everywhere, old or new, to discover its urgency. For collectors, a special physical rollout will arrive via The Circle Music on July 4, 2026 , marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. At its core, Sons of Liberty's music exposed the machinations of a fraudulent financial system and the insidious creep of authoritarianism, serving as a stark warning to humanity. Today, with those shadows cast longer than ever, this music stands as a timeless testament to truth, unfiltered and unapologetic.

What sets Sons of Liberty - Thought Crimes (Volumes 1 & 2) apart is its transcendence of partisan divides. This is not an echo chamber of political agendas; it's a universal wake- up call, championing freedom as the bedrock of peace and prosperity for every person on the planet. In a world fractured by division, Schaffer's lyrics rally for pro-freedom/pro-humanity ideals: anti-authoritarian, non-partisan, and rooted in the unyielding principles of liberty. It's a reminder that true empowerment comes from questioning and resisting systems that promote aggression and erode our shared dignity, fostering unity through principles of liberty, individual sovereignty, and collective resilience. Elevating the original material to new heights, this release features thunderous, newly recorded drums by longtime friend Mark Prator , whose precision and groove has powered classics from Iced Earth ( The Dark Saga , Something Wicked This Way Comes ), Demons & Wizards (Self- Titled Debut), and Jon Schaffer's Purgatory (EP 2018).

Paired with a cutting- edge modern mix by Jim Morris , the result is a sonic powerhouse that has matured like a fine wine - delivering an intensity and honesty that's all too rare in today's pop culture landscape. In an age where ideas can be silenced, this stands as the most censored and cancelled heavy metal music in history. It begs the question: Why? Are thought crimes an inevitable reality in a world that fears unbridled truth? Dive in, reflect, and educate yourself-- because freedom isn't a spectator sport; it is difficult, it requires action, and it's the only path to a better world for all of us

Does the complexity that defines us as individuals already have a sacred function, or do we need to connect the cells we are made of to something more? This is what the new and third album by Le Pietre dei Giganti titled Pastorale asks itself and the listener. Lorenzo Marsili (vocals, guitars), Francesco Utel (guitars, synths and samples, vocals, percussion), Niccolo Pizzamano (bass) and Francesco Nucci (drums, percussion) draw inspiration from the interaction between humans and nature, from the idea of the universe as a physical and chemical system. This inspiration melds perfectly with the cover artwork by Morgan Sorensen (See Machine), where the subject and space are represented according to a rational vision. The color red and the circle above it trigger an emotional response. Our brains follow the rules of the world around us, but culturally we associate this emotional reaction with a depth that goes beyond matter.

The band's name stems from the idea of reinterpreting and renewing what already exists: a creative drive that has underpinned their songwriting and the development of their sound from the very beginning. Following the EP/ demo 4 Little Hanged Toys (Copro Records/Casket Music), they made their debut in 2012 with Technicolor Noise (Zeta Factory), an album blending alternative rock, electronica and industrial influences. In 2015, they released Daytime Sleepwalkers on This Is Core, marking an evolution towards darker atmospheres, in which dark and new wave elements are woven more consciously into their sound. The following year saw the release of DSRMX, a collection of remixes that further expands the project's electronic dimension. After a hiatus due to personal circumstances, the band returned in 2026 with Faithless on Overdub Recordings, an intense, conceptual and political album that heralded a new artistic chapter, deeply influenced by their lived experiences.

Joseph Tholl is widely known as a Swedish multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. He gained international recognition as a founding member and guitarist for the speed metal band Enforcer (officially leaving in 2019). Following his time with Enforcer, he formed Black Trip (later Vojd) and is currently playing guitar for Tribulation. Following 2019’s »Devil’s Drum«, »It Might Be Art« is his second solo album (and the second for High Roller Records). It was recorded and mixed at Humbucker Studio, which he co-owns with Robert Pehrsson (who’s also on High Roller Records). On »It Might Be Art« Joseph Tholl is singing, playing guitar and most of the bass, he also handles piano and synthesizer parts. Robert Eriksson (The Hellacopters) and Jakob Ljungberg (Second Sun) share drum duties on this album. Besides that, there’s a few guest appearances by musicians such as Johannes Andersson (Tribulation), Tobias Lindkvist (Tyrann), Pia Stjärnvind (Serpent Omega), Adam Zaars (Tribulation) and Robert Pehrsson (Dundertåget, Robert Pehrsson’s Humbucker). Joseph Tholl thinks that despite its broad variety »It Might Be Art« is still suitable for heavy metal fans: “I couldn’t see why not. I mean it’s not heavy metal. But I hope people will like it for what it is, a very honest and well-crafted melodic rock album.” “»It Might Be Art« is both darker and brighter than »Devil’s Drum«,” compares the Swede both his solo albums. “Musically it probably sounds a little brighter and poppy overall. But then there’s songs like ”I’m In A Darkness” or ‘The Burial’, which are very dark.” At times, influences of Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, New Model Army and Midnight Oil can be detected on »It Might Be Art«, leading Joseph Tholl to ponder: “It’s incredibly hard to name a few bands as influences, there’s just too many. Besides those bands you mentioned, there’s a mix of grunge, heavy metal, Swedish pop/rock, AOR etc., that I mold into my own kind of rock n roll.”

Sacred Leather is a traditional heavy metal band from the heart of Indianapolis, consisting of Dee Wrathchild (vocals), Lynn St. Michaels (lead guitar), Cvon Owens (rhythm guitar), Magnus Legrand (bass) and Don Diamond (drums). Following a privately manufactured live cassette, 2018’s debut album »Ultimate Force« and numerous (digital) singles, the new »Keep The Fire Burning« is the band’s most definite statement yet. Produced by the legendary Arthur Rizk (Eternal Champion, Power Trip), every track on the record is a call to arms. High-octane compositions such as “Spitfire At Night”, “Phantom Highways” or “Malevolent Eyes” show that Sacred Leather are true defenders of the faith. All songs breathe the raw power of classic 80s metal. Bassist Magnus Legrand comments: “Judas Priest has been a massive influence on us - not just aesthetically or stylistically, but in their ability to cover a wide range of sounds while always remaining unmistakably themselves. That balance is something we actively strive for: to explore every facet of heavy metal without ever losing our identity. The same can be said for KISS, Scorpions, and Queensrÿche - bands that can rock, rip, soar, go epic, or strip it down to something tender, all while keeping their signature intact. That versatility, anchored by a strong sense of self, is the standard we hold ourselves to.” According to Magnus Legrand, »Keep The Fire Burning« is a clear progression from the debut album »Ultimate Force«: “It’s sharper in its songwriting, stronger in its musicianship, and more focused in its execution. Where »Ultimate Force« laid the foundation, this record pushes further into those same territories with greater intent and refinement. It builds on what we established before, expanding the scope while tightening the strike. As a whole, »Keep The Fire Burning« is a relentless ride through the heart of traditional heavy metal - familiar in spirit, but undeniably Sacred Leather in execution.“

Mexico’s Phantom bring raw, unrelenting energy to speed and thrash metal, and their 2022 “Hellspeed Death” demo is now hitting a wider audience with a High Roller Records re-release, complete with two bonus tracks. “Hellspeed Death” remains a true demo in spirit: raw drums, gritty vocals and guitars that cut with sharp precision. The songs are steeped in old-school influences — early Slayer, Venom, Tank, Motörhead and Voivod — but still full of the band’s own ferocious personality. Tracks like ‘Payback,’ ‘Reaper’s Bane,’ and ‘Death Crusade’ race forward with galloping, punk-tinged thrash energy, while ‘Onslaught’ and ‘Speedhammer’ deliver blackened, high-velocity assaults that leave no room for compromise. Phantom write what matches the mood of the music: fast, loud, and aggressive themes like war, revenge, horror, and dark chaos, aiming to leave a mark and revitalize the underground. At this stage, the band had already experienced moments that hinted at bigger things to come. Thus, the new edition of “Hellspeed Death” showcases a fledgling band full of energy, attitude, and DIY ethos. Their mission has been clear from the outset: to push their music as far as it can go, play relentlessly, and prepare for a debut album (“Handed to Execution”, 2023) that eventually turned quite a few heads.

Gina Demarchi - CROWD011: Other Side

CROWD welcomes Gina Demarchi with 'Other Side', a driving 4-track EP that adds a new voice to the label's growing roster. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Gina Demarchi has spent the last nine years refining her signature hypnotic blend of tribal-infused grooves, rolling percussion and emotionally charged energy, showcasing a sound rooted in 2000s techno and dubbed chords. As a resident at the event series Fungi and founder of her own label Seduction, she has built a strong reputation through performances all across South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and beyond. Opening track 'Never Enough' immediately sets the tone. Powered by a tom-driven bassline, huge open hats and uplifting chord melodies, it moves with a propulsive forward energy that plants the listener firmly on the dancefloor from the first bar. Next up on the A-side is 'I'm In Love', where endlessly echoing warm chords churn above a pulsing low end while marching claps and driving percussion lock the track into pure peak-time territory, serving as a reliable anchor for any uncompromising techno set. The title track 'Other Side' leans deeper and groovier, combining a gliding bassline with swinging chord stabs and crisp percussion that give full focus to the track's powerful low-end movement. Sitting somewhere between hypnotic and relentless, it is perhaps the clearest expression of what makes Gina Demarchi's sound so compelling. Closing cut 'Lonely' strips things back but lands with maximum impact: fast-paced chord repetitions, tight closed hats and sub-heavy drums generate a sense of momentum, creating a track that feels explosive and intense without relying on excessive speed. With 'Other Side', Gina Demarchi delivers a high-impact debut that reflects both the raw spirit of her unmistakable sound and the identity of the CROWD universe. The 11th release of the label is another statement from a label that has consistently refused to follow trends, instead carving out a singular identity rooted in raw energy. Join us for a high energy release party on July 5th 2026 al Le Sucre in Lyon!

Of Course sneaked into both Ivan Smagghe and Nic Arizona’s sets after it was encountered on Valerj’s semi-lost album (in the mountains of Corsica). It proposed a straight (hypnotic) answer to the eternal question: what is house music? A track reminiscent of the hazy days of Derrick Carter’s first European gigs, the tripped-out funk of D.I.Y., or Brett the E Texan. It spoke to them.
As a true believer in those simpler times, Roman Flügel delivers a remix, staying true to the roots of the original but elevating it to impossibly higher skies. Both Say Sorry and Midnight Pulse are more of the same: house music for those who may, at times, lost faith in it.

UNKLE - Only You (&ME Remix)

Played out a couple of times by the KM crew, and eagerly anticipated by the community, &ME's remix of UNKLE's already classic tune „Only You" is available now. The original track taken from UNKLE's 2019 album The Road: Part II / Lost Highway features regular UNKLE collaborators including West London's Miink on vocals and celebrated composer and arranger Wil Malone on strings, famed for his work on Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy and The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony. Here we once again witness &ME feeling through the source material just to do what he does best: adopting the emotive essence of a track and moulding it into a reduced and unpretentious, yet highly compelling club-weapon of anthemic magnitude. This one will be all over the place, that's a given.

The Caretaker - Persistent Repetition of Phrases

Originally released in 2008. Although this album invites aesthetic comparisons to works by the likes of Philip Jeck, William Basinski, and Janek Schaefer – draped as it is in an obfuscating, soupy crackle – there’s a very specific conceptual agenda at work here.

Part of the success of »Persistent Repetition of Phrases« comes from the attention it pays to the function of »the loop«, not only as a narrative ordering system in modern music, but as a means by which the brain itself recalls and interprets information; it’s as old as recorded sound itself, but in this context the repetition of small shards of auditory information becomes an elegy to fading memory and the worn-out synapses of old age. The track titles offer signposts through Kirby’s labyrinth of faulty remembrances, pointing their way towards the peculiarities dictating the manner by which the mind stores and attempts to recover information: »Lacunar Amnesia« references a condition that leaves a specific event absent from the sufferer’s memory, and Kirby’s music sounds suitably stuck on a prelude to something that never happens.

Bathed in gusts of crackle, the piece gets stuck on what might be a start of something, but we never get to hear what. Many of the pieces refer to different ways the memory might find itself caught in a holding pattern: »Von Restorff Effect«, »Rosy Retrospection«, and the title track itself are all suggestive of reliving a single event or point in time – here, both music and memory are united by the notion of »glitch«, whereby a fault or fissure causes the replaying of the same pocket of data over and over again, but what distinguishes Kirby from so many other musicians operating within the field of loops and broken recordings is the unnerving, ghostly sentimentality that courses through this process. »Long Term (remote)« is particularly explicit in its reaching back through the first half of the 20th century, exhuming snatches of music hall romance, now warped into a sinister new form by the erosions of time. It’s like watching John Carpenter’s »The Fog« only to find that instead of vengeful phantoms emerging from the mist, it’s The Glenn Miller Band. Which is infinitely more disturbing. More eerie still is the detachment from authorship endemic to this sound – at no point do you really sense the presence of a composer’s hand; this album just... is. A remarkable thing that only seems to have improved with age (which is either highly appropriate or highly inappropriate, I can’t quite decide which), »Persistent Repetition of Phrases« is an even better fit on vinyl, a medium which itself wears and fades just as the memory does.

SML - SPONTANEOUS MUSIC LIVE

SML is a Los Angeles based quintet featuring Anna Butterss, Jeremiah Chiu, Josh Johnson, Booker Stardrum, and Gregory Uhlmann. Spontaneous Music Live contains two side-length pieces of unedited improvisation, recorded live at Los Angeles venue Zebulon during SML"s December 2025 three-night residency, just weeks after the release of the band"s second album HOW YOU BEEN. It was recorded and mixed live to stereo tape by Bryce Gonzales (the same engineer/wizard known for his gorgeous live captures/mixes of Jeff Parker"s ETA IVtet). Between HOW YOU BEEN and their 2024 debut SMALL MEDIUM LARGE (both of which were heavily edited, shaped and post-produced) the band has developed a reputation for records that are heavily fused, polished, and punchy. The medium is on full post-modern display on those LPs, and the band"s post-production knife can be responsible for much of the perspective - the tastiest morsels collected, arranged, and rearranged just so. But the source material from both those albums were live recordings. Longform, unwieldy, ebbing and flowing. On top of that, every performance the band has ever done has been fully improvised in that spirit. So in the sphere of live performance the band"s esteem has grown down a different path - one of linear, hypnotic, expansion. It"s a perceived split persona shared by some of SML"s most inspiring conceptual bedfellows: compare the extended madness of Can"s Live in Paris 1973 to the relative tight form of Future Days from the same year; the speed-funk chaos of Miles Davis" Dark Magus to the heavily deconstructed On The Corner or Big Fun. Spontaneous Music Live removes the curatorial perspective and pulls the curtain back on that search-pluck-reconstruct editing process. What we"re left with is the psychedelic realism of the band in situ, in their home town, collectively improvising, fully in-the-moment, mining for that moment of discovery. We hear, in macro, each nugget of sound which could be the basis for a future SML album track, spattered amongst the collective chaos-and-control like stars in the night sky.

Abul Mogard & Rafael Anton Irisarri - Where Light Pauses in the Silence of the Sun

In spring 2025, Abul Mogard and Rafael Anton Irisarri created the source material for their second album, Where Light Pauses in the Silence of the Sun, during a three-day residency at Morphine Raum in Berlin. Functioning as both recording studio and performance venue, the space has no stage, with the audience gathered around the performers. Working within an open framework, the duo reshaped the music each evening while recording the performances live to multitrack. Rotary speakers, modular synthesizers and bowed guitar formed the core of their sonic language, captured through a 1970s mixing console and microphones placed around the room.

Back in Mogard’s studio in Rome, the material was further crafted as motifs were stretched, fragments isolated, and tempos dissolved. Irisarri recorded additional guitar textures and treatments in New York, while passages recorded by Martina Bertoni and Andrea Burelli in Berlin reinforced the harmonic centres and brought breath, refinement and a new sensibility to their compositions. The process continued as Mogard’s layering and subtraction reassembled everyone’s parts into the final arrangement.

The album opens with “In the Eastern Wild,” building from a sparse outline into a monumental formation of low-frequency weight, its internal motion shaped by the rotating Leslie speaker. “Over the Domes” widens into a broader acoustic field, where sustained modular tones meet waves of softly plucked guitar. The music then turns inward with “A Blue Descent,” centred on Bertoni’s cello, whose growling timbre introduces a melancholic depth.

At the album’s centre, “In a Quiet Radiance” unfolds around a slow guitar ostinato, its luminous stillness opening into a more expansive and reflective state. Across its ten-minute span, Burelli’s violin lines and Bertoni’s lower cello phrases gradually surface, weaving through the harmonic field. Mogard brings Burelli’s processed voice to the fore, its emotive, operatic presence becoming one of the record’s pivotal moments. “Of Blessed Ages” suspends the sonic flow, shifting between parallel major and minor chords as lingering, slowly decaying melodies shape the music’s internal drift. The closing “Among Shadows” settles into a darker resonance as layered textures recede.

Mogard and Irisarri’s shared language balances restraint and maximalism. UK magazine Crack describes the music as “a tidal wave held in suspension,” while Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant writes, “What a colossal sound, and how this music strikes at the emotions.” Reflecting on the residency sessions, Irisarri recalls: “At moments I genuinely couldn’t tell if a sound was coming from me or from Abul. It stopped feeling like two people making decisions and began to feel like we were inside a system moving on its own."

Marja de Sanctis’ cover artwork revisits the vessel sculpture from the duo’s first album, Impossibly Distant, Impossibly Close. There it appeared as raw, unfired clay. Here it has been fired in the kiln and finished with a glaze. Light gathers on its polished surface and spills into the surrounding space. As she explains, “I wanted to convey the idea of continuity within the duo, and the vessel became a kind of container for that idea. However, their music felt different this time, and with the collaboration of Martina and Andrea, I felt it should have a sleeker, softer, more glamorous look, very distant from the first raw appearance.” The transformation of the vessel from raw clay to fired form suggests a passage from immediacy toward permanence, mirroring the music’s gradual expansion.

DELROY WILSON - Dubbing at King Tubby’s LP

Delroy Wilson’s rich vocal tones always added magic to any song put his way. The ‘Cool Operator’ as he was affectionately named, after he worked on a tune with the legendary Jamican producer Bunny Lee.

A match made in heaven that you will hear on the album where he was put against some of the finest rhythms made in what would be a high point in Reggae’s history.

Delroy Wilson (b.1948 Kingston, Jamaica) began his musical career at the school which was Coxonne Dodd’s Studio One label. His first release at the tender age of 13 was the Lee Perry produced ‘Joe Liges’. This Ska enhanced tune gave the young singer his first hit
and the follow up single ‘Spit in the Sky’ that also flew out the record store doors.

After a brief stop in 1969, Delroy began working for producer Sonia Pottinger’s Tip Top label which gave him more hits including ‘It Hurts’ and ‘Put Yourself in My Place’.

The 1970’s saw Delroy Wilson’s arrival at Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee’s door and what would turn into a winning formula, scoringhit after hit.
It is from this great period in Delroy’s career that we have compiled this selection of killer tracks, cut with drum and bass rhythm kings themselves Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare.

A great dub set mixed at the one and only King Tubby’s studio … We hope you enjoy the set …

o Standard Edition black heavyweight vinyl
o 44 tracks from the 2025 sci-fi RPG
o Each disc covers one of the game's major factions
o Art Nouveau-inspired artwork
o Widespined outer sleeve
o Printed inner sleeves

Obsidian Entertainment, Xbox, and Laced Records present the official vinyl release of The Outer Worlds 2 Original Soundtrack, a sanctioned audio record of Arcadia's most influential systems, ideologies, and approved listening experiences.

The specially mastered tracks span three LPs presented in deluxe Art Nouveau-inspired packaging. The collection captures daily life in the colony-where progress is monitored accordingly, optimism is responsibly distributed, and deviation is resolved through established channels.

Volume 001: Truth, Justice, & Dispute Resolution introduces the sound of arrival of the Earth Directorate. Sweeping orchestral themes and restrained electronic textures underscore exploration, investigation, and the reassuring sense that Arcadia's instability is both anticipated and accounted for.

Volume 002: Wireless Free Arcadia represents Auntie's Choice at peak efficiency. Bright melodies, big band swing, and relentlessly cheerful compositions promote comfort, productivity, and sustained consumer confidence. Freedom is included. Continued satisfaction indicates proper use.

Volume 003: Mental Enlightenment & Refreshment pairs the Protectorate and the Order of the Ascendant. The Protectorate asserts control through ceremonial authority, rigid rhythms, and formal arrangements devoted to discipline, doctrine, and public order. The Order of the Ascendant follows with colder, more abstract compositions focused on empirical certainty, controlled experimentation, and outcomes unburdened by sentiment.

Composed by Oleksa Lozowchuk, Antonio Gradanti, and Jim Bonney, the soundtrack of The Outer Worlds 2 blends cinematic scoring, period-inspired styles, and sanctioned cultural messaging to reflect a colony guided by ambition-and the systems entrusted to manage it.

With the second chapter of MAXI MAXIMAL, Leicht Matrose SIRS continues a DJ focused approach to reconstruction, taking timeless disco, synth pop and balearic moments and reshaping them into extended, more playable versions built for flow, space, and long-form mixing. This is not about rarity or obscurity, it’s about clarity. Not digging for forgotten gems here but refining familiar material into its most functional, immersive form. Anstatt sich auf ihren Lorbeeren auszuruhen, machten sie sich direkt im Studio an die Arbeit und nahmen das auf, was schließlich zu ,Frozen Charlotte" wurde. Bunny Lee - Creation Of Dub LP

King Tubby and Producer Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee are intertwined in the birth of Dub Music. After discovering a mistake that made a ‘serious joke’ (more of which later...) they went on to release the first pressings of this new musical genre namely ‘Dub Music’. Tubby’s vast knowledge of electronics and Bunny’s vast catalogue of rhythms would lay the foundations of what today is taken as a standard... the Remix / Version cuts to an existing vocal tune.

Osbourne ‘King Tubby’ Ruddock was born in Kingston, Jamaica on 28th January 1941 and grew up in the High Holborn Street area of downtown Kingston. He studied electronics at Kingston’s National Technical College and also on two correspondence courses from the U.S.A... When he had qualified Tubby began repairing radios and other electrical appliances in a shack in the back yard of his mother’s home. His work in the early days included winding transformers and building amplifiers for Kingston’s Sound Systems. Tubby built his first Sound System in 1957 playing jazz and Rhythm & Blues at local weddings and birthday parties. His reputation as a man who knew and understood both electronics and music grew steadily and as the sixties drew to a close. Tubby purchased his own basic two track equipment. He installed this alongside his dub cutting machine, a homemade mixing console and his impressive collection of Jazz albums in the back bedroom of his home at 18 Dromilly Avenue which he christened his music room.

Tubby and Striker were at Treasure Isle Studio’s one day while Ruddy from Spanish Town was working with the engineer Byron Smith....

“Tubby and myself was talking when Ruddy was cutting some dub but Smithy (engineer) made a mistake through we were talking and forgot to put in the voice. It was two track recording in those days. Ruddy said ‘No Man! Make it stay! and so they cut the rhythm. When I went over to Ruddy’s that Saturday night a dance was in progress and when they played the vocal to the tune... then he said we’re going to play ‘Part Two’. They never called it ‘Version’..and then he played the rhythm track. The song was a catchy song and everybody started to sing along and the deejay started to toast so everything went down well. On Monday morning I went up and I said ‘Tubbs the mistake we made was a serious joke. It mash up Spanish Town! The people went wild. So you have to start to do that now ‘cause when the man put on the ‘Part Two’ everyone start singing this song. It played about twenty times. I said you try Tubbs!’...Well the next Saturday night now when Tubby strung up down the farm U Roy said he’s going to play ‘Part Two’ but Tubby did it different now. He started with the voice then dropped it out and let the rhythm run and then he brought in the voice in the middle and from there Tubby started to get really popular.’’
Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee

Dynamic Sounds upgraded to sixteen track recording in 1972 and Tubby purchased, again with the help of a deal brokered by Bunny Lee. The old four track equipment and the MCI console from their Studio B. The four tracks now gave him far wider scope to work with and he began to create a new musical form where the bass and drum parts were brought up while the faders allowed Tubby to ease the vocal and rhythm in and out of the mix. It was only a matter of time before Tubby’s dub plate experiments began to make it on to vinyl and the first ever long-playing King Tubby releases would feature a collection of his mixes to a selection of Strikers rhythms. So please sit back and enjoy this historic set of sounds, mixed by King Tubby and Mr Prince Phillip Smart and another set of scorcher Bunny Lee rhythms.

British trio The Xcerts return in Summer 2026 with their sixth album, i think i want to go home now. Recorded at Beehive Studios, the record’s direction crystallized with the track "do it to myself," marking a return to the band writing together in one room. The album emerged from an "exceedingly hellish" period involving family loss and broken relationships, mirroring the trauma behind their 2009 debut. While the title began as a childhood joke about sleepovers, it evolved into a poignant exploration of "home" as both a refuge and a heavy heart, delivered with a defiant, invigorated energy.

”What Parts & Labor have figured out how to do, in a way no one else really has, is to make noise anthemic.” —PITCHFORK “Visions of disaster sound more optimistic with every album.” —THE NEW YORK TIMES “Parts & Labor is … creating rock albums that everyone who cares about rock music should own.” —CHICAGO TRIBUNE ”Part psychedelia, part noise, part all-out rock... exhilarating stuff.” —THE GUARDIAN ”East Coast art-punk with a 21st-century overhaul.” —Q ”A joyous explosion of sound.” —MOJO After a 14-year hiatus, prismatic noise-punk fireworkers Parts & Labor, a beloved institution of Brooklyn's '00s underground, re-emerge with a double-drummer lineup and colossal double album. The 79-minute Set of All Sets (July 10, Ernest Jenning Record Co.) is an expansive, blown-out gush of apocalypse-pop that imagines utopias and confronts the overwhelming weight of the infinite. Their first album since 2011, Set of All Sets finds the band re-energized, rebooted and expanding their punk-kosmische, matching their skyscraping melodies and squelching electronics with hypnotic rhythms and frenzied tumbles of percussion. Parts & Labor co-founders Dan Friel and BJ Warshaw are joined by the simultaneous battery of drummers Christopher Weingarten and Joe Wong — asynchronous members during their critically acclaimed four-album run on indie rock titans Jagjaguwar. The power trios that made 2007's breakthrough Mapmaker and 2011's swan song Constant Future have merged into a single four-piece, at once a brand new vision, a clamorous continuation and a recapturing of the deafening sound of their "final" two shows in 2012. With eight weaponized limbs from two veteran drummers, Parts & Labor surges forth with rhythms inspired by Tanzanian singeli, ecstatic free improv and the motorik of vintage krautrock. Friel and Warshaw beam with the most majestic and triumphant melodies of their career, windswept cascades of bubblegum Boredoms and Big-Music-gone-hardcore.

Dark Wings marks a shift toward a looser, more collaborative sound for Mason Jennings, recorded in an unconventional studio space built inside a design workshop with drummer Scott McPherson and engineer Aaron Featherstone. What began as a single track evolved into an 11-song collection shaped by ongoing sessions, spontaneous collaborations, and a rotating cast of musicians. The result is a warm, full-band record that leans into texture, instinct, and the energy of capturing music in the moment—an inspired departure from Jennings’ more solitary recent work. Vinyl pressing limited to 500.

  • 1: BABY YOUR PHRASING IS BAD
  • 2: A WOMAN OF DISTINCTION

A master class of shimmering, surrealistic '67 British psychedelia that is widely considered a holy grail of the genre and currently fetches huge prices in the collectors' market. 'Baby Your Phrasing is Bad' boldly rides the surging psychedelic wave that was about to crest in London that summer with swirling fuzz guitar, a spiraling solo, and a hazy, spaced-out vocal.First-ever legit reissue. Caleb Quaye only released one single in the sixties under his own name, but what a record it is! Released on Philips in June 1967, 'Baby Your Phrasing is Bad' boldly rides the surging psychedelic wave that was about to crest in London that summer with swirling fuzz guitar, a spiraling solo, and a hazy, spaced-out vocal. On the other side, 'A Woman of Distinction' is only fractionally less freaky with treated vocals and a short but gracefully-executed guitar solo. Contrary to hearsay, rumors and guesswork, it can be confirmed that Elton John did not play on the session. However, shortly afterwards, this same core lineup, with Caleb producing, recorded an album with Elton, "Regimental Sgt Zippo", a superb psychedelic pop work that remained unreleased until 2021.

First time double-cassette reissue of 1987's double LP opera rock by Spain's legendary punk band Eskorbuto. "Los demenciales chicos acelerados" is a political satirical work against any kind of dictatorial regime. "Los demenciales chicos acelerados" is Eskorbuto's fourth studio album, originally released by Discos Suicidas in 1987. It was their most ambitious project, a double LP rock opera in the vein of "Quadrophenia" by their beloved The Who. It tells the story of an unscrupulous young man who wishes to achieve power at all costs, stepping over everyone and everything in order to do whatever he wants politically. In the end, he falls due to his ego and is betrayed by those around him. Hence lines such as "crowds are a nuisance", "I'll come unscathed out of the attacks planned by my image consultant" or "shouting in front of the scum". In 1988 band members Iosu and Juanma narrated the album's concept and story on a Radio Euskadi show, the Basque Country's public broadcaster. This satirical political plot also explains the controversial sleeve art, Eskorbuto were equalling the unprincipled politician of their rock opera with the Nazis and Franco's dictatorship. It's a conceptual record that attacks any kind of dictatorial political regime. The original sleeve caused some trouble, to say the least, with its combination of Nazi photos and the Spanish flag on the back accompanied by the words "Of national interest". lthough "Los demenciales..." came out on Discos Suicidas, in typical Eskorbuto fashion the band stole a copy of the master and sold it to the Twins label, which also released it a few months later with new cover art.The album contains new versions of a few previous tracks such as 'Ratas rabiosas' and 'Enterrado vivo' plus the studio version of 'Más allá del cementerio'. For the recording the band enrolled keyboardist Aitor Amezaga, who would also collaborate on their next album.
