The Louisiana native teams up with Producer Jesse Dayton (Rob Zombie,
Supersuckers) and a taut power trio, firing twin barrels of sharp songwriting and

and the Dirty with revelatory anthems about embracing the modern moment and

Musing on the writing process, Jad explains "I feel a need to do music and do song writing. It's something I really miss when I'm not doing it. There's a certain amount of tranquillity that's obtained from the fact that you can be working on songs each day. I think you use that certain portion of your brain that is otherwise not used. I kind of kind of prefer using it than not using it." Half Japanese currently includes Jad with John Sluggett, Gilles-Vincent Rieder, Mick Hobbs and Jason Willett, a veritable who's who of DIY indie culture. 'Jump Into Love' was recorded at Tempo House, Baltimore, Russian Recording, Bloomington Indiana, Studio de la Trappe, Donneville France and la Casamurada, Tarragona Spain. The album was mixed by long time Half Japanese sparring partner Jason Willett at his home in Baltimore, Maryland. Along with Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck and 7L, MC Esoteric is probably best known as 1/3rd of the acclaimed trio CZARFACE. Before creating the comic friendly hip-hop supervillain, Eso developed and unleashed another fictional anti-hero that bolstered his music, and that character was dubbed EGOCLAPPER. You could view Egoclapper as Czarface's predecessor. Esoteric's legacy as a leading vanguard of Boston's underground rap scene extends far beyond CZARFACE, AOTP, and recent collaborations with MF DOOM, it leaps across multiple decades of records both solo and in collaboration with 7L. So now, Eso's imprint Fly Casual Records is proud to present this sterling reissue of his 2007 solo debut; the twitchy, punchy, eccentric Egoclapper. Not only has this record never previously been released on vinyl, but it is now presented on exclusive transparent blue wax.

Formed when four jazz students at the University of Auckland bonded over their shared love of the pop-punk sounds of their youth, The Beths bring new energy to the genre. This 5-song debut EP, a deliriously pleasurable statement of purpose, comes crammed with enough blissful hooks to carry through most bands' careers.

Listeners for whom the tag 'New Zealand indie rock' brings to mind the Flying Nun sound of bands like The Clean and The Chills may be surprised to find Warm Blood's five unstoppable tunes landing closer to artists like Slant 6 and The Breeders. Archetype called upon Granville Sessions MPC don Giuseppe 'Zippo' Falcone for a selection of
samples. After some deliberation and delay these were then fully recreated with live instrumentation, played largely by Ed Koral (another Granville alumnus and multi-instrumentalist); plus the help
of Berlin-based sax and trumpet players Christoph and Yannick.

Cocktail and power-bossa vibes meet shots of clavinet-funk in the new single by Milan-based producer Larry Manteca, a relentless creator of soundtracks for imaginary films in various genres – from the erotic to the spaghetti western, and from crime to zombie-horror.

Manteca's debut on 7" vinyl could only have happened under the aegis of Four Flies Records, whose team went and hand-picked two of the grooviest tracks in his bulimic output, both recorded in 2015 for the sci-fi/erotic-themed album Mutant Virgins From Pluto (the title says it all!).

"Ufo Bossa" is a delicious, uptempo bossa-jazz number cast in an ultra-lounge style and spiced up with references to Les Baxter's and Martin Denny's exotica, as well as to pop/erotic sci-fi soundtracks like Bob Crewe's Barbarella, with the added bonus of Yasmine Zekri's sexy scat singing. On the flip side you have "Intergalactc Porno Scene", a typical poliziottesco theme where clavinet and flute interweave into a super-funky groove, before synths come in and send us into erotically-charged space orbit.

35th anniversary release of Liege Lord's seminal metal album "Master Control". Liege Lord are a staple of the United States power metal scene for a reason – all three of their albums; Freedom’s Rise, Burn to my Touch, and Master Control, are undoubtedly classics of the genre. It exemplifies the best features of the genre; aggression, speed, catchy vocals, varied riffs, pounding drum and bass, blistering solos, and a strong production to tie it all together. Interesting tidbit, "Master Control" was engineered by Terry Date (Overkill, Pantera, White Zombie, Slipknot, Deftones and more)

UK jazz dance hero Paul Murphy teams up with BBE Music to deliver his first compilation on the label: a blazing selection of up-tempo jazz titled ‘The Jazz Room’.
Lauded by none other than Gilles Peterson as “the original messenger of jazz who found almost every dancefloor classic”, Paul began DJing in 1970s London. His passion and unique playing style placed him at the epicentre of an emerging jazz-dance scene in the city, popping off in spots like The Horseshoe (aka Jaffas), The Wag, The 100 Club, The Blue Note and The Electric Ballroom, where he founded the now famous ‘Jazz Room’, after which this album is named.

Kavinsky died in 1986 in a car accident, at the wheel of his Testarossa. He reappeared in the skin of a zombie in 2005, for the release of his first EP " Teddy boy " on Record Makers.

Teddy Boy marks the entry of Kavinsky on the French electronic stage. "Testarossa Autodrive" makes the unanimity and forges the artistic print of the artist, Mr Oizo / Quentin Dupieux will make a remix. It follows this EP which Kavinsky will enter into the "French Touch" and will begin to be known, in particular with the amateurs of the worlds.

Victoria Bergsman hatte es nicht geplant "Another Year" zu machen. Die Taken By Trees-Sängerin war mit der Arbeit an ihrem eigenen Material beschäftigt, als der Vorschlag aufkam, Coverversionen von Songs des Zombies-Frontmanns Colin Blunstone aufzunehmen. Das Projekt sollte den 50. Jahrestag seines ersten Soloalbums "One Year", eines häufig unterschätzten Klassikers, feiern. Am Ende wurde es einer emotionalen Hommage an einen der Lieblingssänger von Bergsman. Victoria Bergsman ist es nicht fremd, Coversongs aufzunehmen. Ihre einzigartige, bezaubernde Version von Guns N" Roses "Sweet Child O" Mine" wurde 2009 sogar zum Soundtrack der John Lewis-Weihnachtswerbung. Ihre Stimme war schon immer eine der großen im Indie-Pop-Genre. Viele kennen ihren Gesang von Peter, Bjorn and Johns Klassiker "Young Folks" oder als Sängerin der schwedischen Band The Concretes. 2008 begann sie eine Solokarriere unter dem Namen Taken By Trees. Ihre Liebe zu Blunstone ist noch älter. Als sie in den späten 1990er Jahren mit ihren Concretes-Bandkollegen durch die Plattenläden stöberte, entdeckte Bergsman Colin Blunstone erstmals als Künstler. Seitdem hat er ihre Musik beeinflusst und ist seit langem ein fester Bestandteil ihrer privaten Plattensammlung.

This limited edition vinyl includes numerous songs by Italian composer Stelvio Cipriani, the man behind the superb soundtrack of Poliziottesco movie La Polizia Sta A Guardare (1973) whose main theme was reborn in 2007 on Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, multiple scores for Spaghetti Western movies starring Tony Anthony, as well as a Nastro d’Argento award for best score for The Anonymous Venetian (1970).

Also found on Pieces are compositions by Carla Maria Cordo who scored Joe D’Amato’s gorefest Absurd (1981) that some might know as Anthropophagus 2, Monster Hunter, Horrible or The Grim Reaper 2 - a movie so shockingly violent it became one of the Video Nasties of the UK and was successfully prosecuted under the Obscene Publications Acts in 1984.

Lucio Fulci’s frequent collaborator Fabio Frizzi (responsible for the music of classic horror movies Zombie aka Zombi 2, L’Aldilà aka The Beyond, City of the Living Dead aka The Gates of Hell and the list goes on) also makes a special appearance with the sexy « Cocktail Molotov ».
