The A Side is a rework of “Save me Dear” and "Just a Friend" done by Friss.
The B-side is a rework of “Old to the New” done by Deejay Irie.

The second installment in the SEMPLATE series arrives with force, presenting "Clones" — four-track EP by British duo Evasion & Conman. Run of 200 copies on transparent red / black splatter vinyl. Across the record, Evasion & Conman navigate the spaces between drum and bass, jungle, and breaks, crafting a sound that is both raw and futuristic.

The journey begins with A1 “Closure”, a heavy workout at 165 bpm, driven by pounding drums and a sparse, stripped-back propulsion. On A2 “Nashi” at 147 bpm, unveil perhaps the most lush cut on the EP — a rolling jungle track rich with textured breaks and atmospheric washes. Flipping to the B-side, B1 “Acid Reflux” sits at 140 bpm, swirling with eerie synths and snarling bass that push into darker territory. Finally, B2 “Clones” fires off at 170 bpm, delivering a vision of futuristic broken drum and bass: fractured rhythms, stark bass hits, and cybernetic touches.

Presenting the second vinyl release of Mauna Prasãda featuring its owner Delazar. mauna (मौन) refers to “silence” and prasāda (प्रसाद) refers to “essence” or "grace". So it's the essence of silence or the grace of silence.

The record is crafted for after-hours vibes or warm-up sessions, featuring a low BPM and a rich, dense energy that makes it ideal for late-morning performances. It seamlessly guides your mind through a series of synths and acid sounds to keep the momentum going. With deep basslines, melodic progressions, and intricate layers, it invites emotional exploration while also getting your body moving.

Following on from the sell-out ‘Folktronic EP’ , Crying Outcast resumes its descent through the soil with the Turf Step EP, the next chapter from Miles J Paralysis. Dialling further into the crevices between dubbed-out energy, murky house, and slow-motion ritualism, this four-tracker feels like a call from the belly of the land. Rooted in a shared sense of groove and disorientation, the four tracks move in different directions, laced with broken vocals, worn-down textures and a haze of echoes. Spanish producer Larsson delivers a deep and hypnotic 4-tracker for Fuxbau Records, marking his vinyl debut on the label. Written in the rural village where Larsson grew up, the EP carries a sense of groundedness and clarity. Created in his parents' home, surrounded by nature and far from urban distraction, the tracks reflect a setting where ideas unfold organically. The result is a tightly cut selection of groovy, rolling techno - stripped back, hypnotic, and full of tension. That contrast between calm surroundings and high-impact club energy runs through all four tracks: stripped-back yet detailed, functional yet full of soul.

Dutch house giant Dennis Quin drops four fresh house cuts and is the second artist to release on Haven Trax. Four tracks that suit peak moments and early morning afterparties.

Studio Batsumi Returns with Ya Hu Ra — A Deep Listening Journey Through Analog Soundscapes.

London-based label Studio Batsumi returns with its second release, Ya Hu Ra, a four-track EP. Blending analog warmth with organic textures, the record includes four raw cuts that moves from broken beats and hypnotic melodic house on the A-side to downtempo, tribal rhythms and ambient soundscapes on the B-side.

Written and recorded between London and Paris from 2020 to 2025 by Federico Bigonzetti and Maxime Obadia, the project also features Cameron Cullen and DJ Himitsu (Enharmonics) on Kirtan (A2). The EP blends field recordings from Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, crafting a sound that feels both intimate and vast.

The concept behind Ya Hu Ra was developed by label cofounder Marta Paccagnella, a study in sound archetypes where each track represents a different symbolic state: initiation, movement, trance, return. Whether on the dancefloor or in a living room, this release offers a rich and immersive listening experience, balancing club instincts with introspective detail.

Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life erschien 1983 als Soundtrack zum gleichnamigen Film – und ist nun zum ersten Mal seit Jahrzehnten wieder erhältlich, diesmal als rote Vinyl-Edition.

Die Platte ist ein wilder Mix aus Sketchen, Songs und absurden Zwischenspielen – darunter „Every Sperm Is Sacred“, „Galaxy Song“ und das schräg-romantische „Penis Song (Not the Noël Coward Song)“. Ergänzt wird das Ganze durch Bonus-Dialoge, Soundeffekte und Auftritte von Michael Palin und Terry Gilliam, die eigens fürs Audioformat eingespielt wurden.

Zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum des Films erscheint Monty Pythons legendärer erster Soundtrack in einer neuen, umweltfreundlichen Edition – als 1LP auf Gold Nugget Vinyl.

Mit dem herrlich absurden Titel The Album of the Soundtrack of the Trailer of the Film of Monty Python and the Holy Grail erschien das Original bereits 1975. Die LP enthält eine Mischung aus Filmszenen und eigens produziertem Studio-Material – darunter eine fiktive Kinoeinführung im „Classic Silbury Hill Theatre“ sowie der „Marilyn Monroe“-Sketch, geschrieben von Graham Chapman und Douglas Adams (Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis).

Ein urkomischer Meta-Soundtrack, der Monty Pythons anarchischen Humor perfekt auf Vinyl bannt.

Crazed Behaviour's second vinyl release features Volruptus, the Alien Boogie Commander, with his electrifying EP Overload. For the first time ever, this incredible 1974 recording by Joe Truss and composer Michael Kamen (who would go on to score Hollywood blockbusters like Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, and Robin Hood) is getting the proper release it always deserved.

Nearly all original copies were destroyed by the pressing plant after being pressed at the wrong speed. A second run of just around 50 copies was quietly made — and then it vanished into obscurity. Until now.

The B-side? An unreleased funk track, salvaged from a reel containing the soundtrack of a never-released film — a forgotten gem brought back to life.
