In 1983, Chateau, a San Francisco based boogie funk band, won the KRE Radio Hot Fun In The Sun Battle of the Bands in Mosswood Park, Oakland. As a prize, they received $5000 (approximately 8 hours) of studio time and a pressing run of 200 45s.Chateau included Alan Ross on lead vocals and percussion, singer Damara 'Candy' Stepney, and Kevin Dailey who sang and played saxophone, bass, and guitar.

Melvin Jones was on horn and keys, Dennis Knepper played keyboard, Frank Lemon played drums, Lemon's cousin Michael Clark played rhythm guitar, Doug Hearne played guitar and Bill Ortiz (from Santana) contributed trumpet parts.Chateau only released one 7-inch single in 1984, but to this day 'Feelings' is, arguably so, one of the most sought-after West Coast slices of funk.Jerome Derradji and Past Due Records are proud to officially reissue this incredible slice of boogie. Horse Driver Record’s debut release focuses on 3 Brooklyn Heroes, that first saw the day of light in 1983, alongside one of the most prolific producers to ever grace our planet.

This record takes the listener from the east coast all the way to LA to solve the infamous coast battle of the nineties in one single 45rpm record.

On the A Side the listener is invaded by the rawness of the legendary fusion of these heroes with their original producer that carries the double 18th letter as his initials.

Brooklyn duo Fundido team up with Philadelphia's Universal Cave to press their first physical release titled ‘Paradise Tempo’, a love letter to dance floor music that sits in the cross section of the tougher sounds of the city and the softer sounds of the balearic and the backwoods.The A side kicks off with a flawless downtempo mix from California based Dirty Dave and Alex Pasternak, who find a rare cover of the Cathy Denis classic and refurbish it to perfection. Next up is ‘Emotional Jungle’, a jazzy midtempo weapon led by a massive saxophone hook and edited to optimum club efficiency by NY based Nick Stropko. LA via Serbia’s Masha Mar unearths extremely rare gem ‘Take Me to Mecca’ and reworks it into a dreamy midtempo journey that carries both a children’s choir vocal and a middle eastern synth melody effortlessly across a foggy dance floor. And closing out the A-side is the wonderful ‘Charlie’s Vision’ from Universal Cave, a spooky AOR tinged cosmic trip that is only available on this vinyl pressing.The B Side leads with balearic beach party stomper ‘Amor’ from Fundido themselves; complete with Spanish vocals, lofty piano jamming and a contagious growling bassline. Next up is ‘Sex-O’ from Seoul man Tucan Discos, who reworks a tribal classic into a hypnotic and seductive club mix; followed by ‘Freak Estilo’ from Spain’s Ritmal Astral boss Orion Agassi who offers a bumping freestyle breaks mix with an addictive r&b vocal hook. Last but not least, the ‘Be Careful Operator’ edit from Miles Felix aka Sisserou closes down the function with a block party jam swimming with jazz, swing and soul.When asked what visual imagery they had in mind for Paradise Tempo, the prompt given to artwork maestro Ray Fernandez was ‘salt of the earth utopia’ and ‘working man’s paradise’ … and Ray delivered exactly that. CZARFACE - Wu-Tang founding MC Inspectah Deck and veteran Boston duo 7L & Esoteric - isn't concerned with the glitz and the B.S. that modern consumer culture is pushing. And neither are the group's fans. In 2013, the trio appeared relatively unassumingly with their self-titled debut, which was chiefly produced by DJ 7L and included guests ranging from Ghostface Killah and Cappadonna to Vinnie Paz, Action Bronson and Roc Marciano. The soon-to-be acclaimed group found out quickly that there was a groundswell of hip-hop fanatics thirsting for the lunchpail, lyrics-above-all-else rap they fell in love with in the '90s. Several pressings of the album on CD, 2-LP and even cassette later, they are back and ready to up the ante. This time around the group is the same, but it's fair to say that all three men have stepped up their game. We knew how we felt about the last album, but weren't sure how it would be received by listeners,' explains MC Esoteric. But people really responded to it, even more than we had hoped. We know exactly what lanes we are cruising in and what weight class we are fighting in for Round 2.' Inspectah Deck adds, Czarface is like the Danger Room for the X-Men, I can use all my weapons on there. When I'm in Wu-Tang, I have to come a certain way because we have a certain style of fan, when I'm here doing the Czarface projects, it allows me to actually be an MC, it allows me to actually just spit...I love that. I love when i can just spit freely and just be an MC.' The fighting analogy - whether drawn from pugilism or '80s wrestling, both which figure into Every Hero Needs A Villain - is an apt one, considering the unrelenting lyrical attacks that Deck and Esoteric unleash on track after track, each trying to one-up the previous verse. Best of all, it is friendly camaraderie, based around a loose theme of renegade mutant MC talents running wild. DJ 7L explains, All three of us are influenced by comics, sci-fi movies, TV, wrestling. Czarface encompasses all of that, and it helps with the visuals as well.' On the production side, 7L shows yet again - as he did with the group's debut - that he remains a formidable yet underappreciated musical force, constantly providing hard, funky and alternatingly ominous backdrops for the assembled MCs to use as lyrical luge paths. If that wasn't enough, it's all iced with a ridiculously intricate and beefy 70-plus page, hardcover CD casebook with lyrics and extensive artwork by Gilberto Aguirre Mata (El Ultimo Codice) and L'amour Supreme, and with Death & Abduction,' a comic written by Esoteric, and an explosive, comic-book-inspired cover by L'amour Supreme (Mishka NYC).

Sometimes you hear a sound which ruins you and you remain chasing the echo that floats heavy, dubby, but with sharpened edges. Funky breaks under low ceilings. 'Time Codes' is made for the longer nights.

Conjured up on his arsenal of machines, French artist Lostsoundbytes provides six tracks of heavy, dubbed out rhythms combined with swirling textures and blood-curdling soundscapes. Also featured is a stellar remix by Warzou, preserving the track's dubby atmosphere whilst cranking it up to a more club-friendly pace. Limited to 100 copies.

Journeys are never just about distance. They stretch time, reshape perception, and demand transformation. With its latest vinyl split EP, Standard Deviation presents four tracks by Nastya Vogan and Phase Fatale that serves as a vessel for tracing displacement, memory, and the liminality of return. These melancholic yet powerful techno cuts serve both the concrete dance floor and moments of intimate self-reflection. Two artists--Nastya Vogan and Phase Fatale--approach Kyiv from different trajectories, but they both keep returning to the city. Vogan, a Ukrainian musician and resident DJ of Kyiv, and Phase Fatale (Hayden Payne), Berlin-based producer, Berghain and Khidi resident and founder of BITE Records, share a longstanding musical friendship. They've played B2B sets at K41 and Vogan, appeared on BITE's ''Shedding Skin'' compilation in 2023, and they share a vision for music selection, from aesthetics to philosophy. Vogan's 'Transitioning Territory' and 'This Is Not a Love Song' unravel the psycho-geography of transition. The first track captures the 24-hour journey to Kyiv as a rite of passage where 'time seems to fold; you are profoundly present yet paradoxically far from the world you left.' In this suspended state, memories surface and ordinary life recedes as the train's rhythm becomes its own meditation. Her second track explores Lacanian limerence--consciously falling for something not fully known, filling absences with personal projections as a way to discover what lies within oneself. Phase Fatale's contributions capture movement and distance with mechanical precision. 'Kekkai,' takes its name from the Japanese word for boundary, echoing 'respect my borders' ethos while reflecting on crossing into wartime Ukraine. The term also suggests a protective force field in Buddhist thought--much like Kyiv's current aura of resistance. 'Neosyazhna Rosa' (Unreachable Rose) honors Payne's Ukrainian grandmother Rose, weaving family history into his present connection with Ukraine. Both pieces balance melancholy with light, their sound palette of lush pads and rhythmic breaks crafted with K41's dance floor in mind.

German duo FJAAK remain one of techno's most distinct and uncompromising acts. Their new four-track EP is a raw, intense journey that feels more like a series of live jams than polished studio tracks. This release, FJAAK012, fully embraces their signature analogue sound, delivering four powerful tracks designed to own both big and underground stages and the most demanding dancefloors on the globe. The EP opens with 'Inside Out', a stripped-back groove loaded with industrial energy. It blends breakbeats, jungle influences and hardcore licks, fusing genres and eras while keeping that unmistakable FJAAK intensity front and centre. Next, 'Rekorder' delivers intricate beats with a raw, live-jam energy, dropping rigid sequencing for pure groove. Its coarse percussion and shifting melodic layers create a dynamic flow packed with attitude and character. Flip the record and 'Don't Give A F' steps up the pace with racy rolling grooves and relentless drive. The track's multi-genre beats and piercing analogue tones build a warehouse-ready sound that commands attention. Closing the EP, 'Leave A Message' is a special, one-of-a-kind slice of groove-heavy individuality, standing out with its truly unique sound. It combines hard-hitting rhythms with raw, textured layers and sharp transitions that keep you moving from start to finish. Based in Berlin, Felix Wagner and Aaron Robig have crafted their sound since childhood, pushing boundaries since the late 2000s. Known for their rebellious spirit and hardware-only live shows, they've revitalised the club scene with electrifying performances and DJ sets. In 2024, their genre-defying album FJAAK THE SYSTEM merged UK breakbeat, techno, d'n'b, jungle and more, featuring collaborations with Modeselektor, Skee Mask, Red Eye and Spandau20 co-founder J.Manuel. It marked a bold new chapter for the duo. Now, in 2025, FJAAK build on that momentum with fresh music, global tours, and expanding label rosters. They continue to challenge club music norms and maintain their place at the forefront of electronic music innovation.

We are excited to unveil our debut vinyl release, marking a milestone in our journey. This exclusive record features cutting-edge techno tracks crafted by two Irish artists-Dylan and Luc-who have been regular visitors in our Dublin-based studio.

“0101”from label owner Orbit , is definitely too short. Just after you finish this one, you’re gonna want more of this groove. Nothing is extra at first sight, but at the same time it’s one of the “toolest” tracks, you’ll hear this year so far.

“One Zero” by Kos is another piece from the B-side – a slower, buzzier, and a bit more serious one.

“Walking Bottom” by Luschn has the usual for his production overdose. In a good way, of course. Another slow-cooker just needs a good soundsystem for its full development (prepare yourself for some damage in front).

And we’re gonna finish with another jam from the label owner Fib and Лісопилка from Kyiv – Lisovskyi and his “Gallbladder” with all that squelching and some more buzz.

After a digital EP on Tresydos and a debut vinyl release earlier this year on Beau Mot Plage, Luke Seager is quickly establishing himself as a promising new figure on the Paris electronic music scene. With a sound shaped by house music, minimal aesthetics, guitars, and cinematic film samples, his productions reflect a rich and eclectic palette.

His new EP, released on Chat Noir Tools, continues this trajectory, offering a refined blend of textures and grooves. The record also features a remix by Pagenty, adding a fresh perspective to Luke’s original material and confirming his growing presence in the scene.

Cataleya reach double digits with a very special cover of a Soulful House classic. Coflo freshens up 280 West’s Love’s Masquerade for modern audiences with the help of Canadian vocalist CEE. Their sparkling cover is backed by mixes from Vick Lavender, DJ Spinna and more from Coflo. Coflo’s Classic mix has the vibe of the 90s mixes, whilst Vick turns the track into a glorious synth addled bumper. Spinna offers his own version, where sturdy beats, vocals and free flowing keys combine. This is a fantastic update of a classic!

'Epiphany' is an album by composer and arranger Vince Mendoza, released in 1999, it is appearing here on vinyl for the first time and features the London Symphony Orchestra and seven jazz soloists, including John Abercrombie, Michael Brecker, Peter Erskine, and Kenny Wheeler. The album consists of eight original compositions by Mendoza, ranging from the lyrical "Impromptu" to the rhythmic "Barcelona". The music is a blend of classical and post-bop, with influences from show tunes and Spanish folk music. Mendoza's orchestrations are subtle and evocative, creating a rich and varied sonic palette. The soloists interact with the orchestra in different ways, by blending in, contrasting, and often improvising over the written parts. This prefund musical journey is a testament to Mendoza's creativity and versatility as a composer and a conductor.

With the Behind You EP, Preesh presents a refined selection of deep, percussive cuts that speak in low tones and slow burns. Carefully restrained and rhythmically precise, each piece explores subtle tension, layered textures, and a sense of space that invites the listener in rather than pushing out.

Introducing Fleur Sauvage: A New Chapter Rooted in Emotion and Community

The idea for Fleur Sauvage first took shape in 2022, quietly evolving and shared only with a select few. It began with a desire to give new life to the spellbinding improvisations experienced at La Nature—those rare, unrepeatable instants that move us deeply and stay with us long after the sound has faded.

In the spirit of that beginning, the label will open space for a variety of releases: expect intimate solo works, carefully curated compilations, and other sonic offerings from artists close to our he(art).

More than just adding a new label to the world, our purpose is to grow with our community. Community is everything. At the end of the day, what matters most to us are the relationships we cultivate—with artists, supporters, collaborators, and the many spirited souls who help us create these rare and radiant gatherings.

Katatonic Silentio – Live at La Nature 2023
Captured in the immersive cocoon of the Hypnose Room during the 2023 edition of La Nature, this debut release on Fleur Sauvage is a raw transmission of Katatonic Silentio’s improvisational live ritual.

Split into four parts across two 12” records, this work moves between experimental abstraction, textured noise, and cinematic ambient. Tension runs like a thread through each piece—sometimes humming beneath the surface, sometimes rupturing into visceral sonic peaks that leave you breathless. Deep low-end pulses and granular ruptures twist through fleeting moments of stillness, creating a sense of instability that is both electrifying and intimate.

The recording documents more than a performance—it holds space for something elemental, unpredictable, and deeply embodied. As always with Katatonic Silentio, the sound is not just heard—it is inhabited.

In 2018, Glonti started collecting LPs of Soviet-era Georgian composers at Tbilisi’s “Dry Bridge” flea market.The records mostly consisted of classical and chamber music released on Melodiya, the singular, state owned record label of the USSR. It was through this process that the idea of Recollection was born, as Glonti aimed to create an album that would utilize samples from his growing collection.


Recollection III-IV marks the second in a planned series of 7” releases, each built from Glonti’s expanding archive of Soviet-era recordings. The artwork by Dmytro Nikolaienko (Day Night) once again reflects the utilitarian aesthetic of Soviet-era record design.
