The “Time To Shuff” EP was the first ever release from UK deep house pioneers BRS (British Rhythm Services) in 2000, originally on Cyclo records.

Situationism Records are excited to be able to re-issue this timeless classic and sort after EP from BRS …26 years later and we have lovingly repressed on vinyl and emulated the original artwork.

At Curated By Time, we’re heading back into the archives once again, this time revisiting Aretha's Reign by Harold Heath.

Originally released on Sensei in the early 2000s, the three-track EP stands as a great example of the UK tech house sound of the era, built around solid grooves, crisp drums and understated production.

Now reissued on Curated By Time, Aretha's Reign returns to the dance floor just as relevant as ever.

Jan Kincl, a Croatian producer, DJ and live performer with releases on BBE Records, Far Out Recordings, Sonar Kollektiv, and Get Physical, returns to his own Cycle Records with "Lights Out", the label's sixth release. Written and produced at Cycle Studio in Zagreb, it arrives in Main and Alternative mixes. The remixes come from Trinidadian Deep, a deep house producer and DJ mentored by Ron Trent, with releases on Neroli, Vision Recordings, Toto and Makin' Moves, as well as his own Native Bush - Many Moods of Music imprint. "An appropriate title. This is definitely a tune you want to hear when you closes your eyes on the dance floor, the vibe gets deep and you the lights go down." - said DJ Kemit. Intergalactic Gary called the record "Deep, atmospheric and emotional", while DJ Lady D summed up the contrast at the heart of the release: "Love the original, gives classic house vibes and TD offers a modern deep take." With Picture About You, Recut opens a new chapter, blending the heritage of house music, acid textures and underground electronic culture into a contemporary vision for today’s dancefloors. Rooted in the essence of club culture, the EP explores hypnotic grooves, evolving patterns and the timeless dialogue between the DJ, the sound system and the crowd, where emotion, movement and energy become a universal language. The title track, “Picture About You”, reflects Recut’s artistic identity through the lens of his personal history and family roots. An important part of this story comes from his uncle, known as Mr. Steve, who in 1975 founded one of the pioneering independent radio stations in Southern Italy during the early years of independent broadcasting. His connection with radio, disco culture and the first generation of Italian clubs embodied a spirit of discovery, sharing and musical exploration that continues to shape Recut’s approach to music.

Musically, “Picture About You” unfolds through a hypnotic and emotional groove, blending old-school character with a contemporary perspective. A timeless club track where past and present come together in Recut’s own musical language. “Hey Jack” is a powerful dancefloor weapon driven by unstoppable grooves, hypnotic acid lines and captivating arpeggios. Built for peak-time moments, it pushes the energy forward with a relentless rhythm designed to ignite the crowd.
“Subwave” takes the journey into a deeper and more massive dimension. Driven by powerful low-end pressure, evolving dynamics and explosivetransitions, the track builds tension throughout its progression before releasing its full impact on the dancefloor. Closing the EP, “Neon Flux” delivers the final impact: fierce, electric and uncompromising, a track designed to push intensity beyond the limit and leave a lasting impression. Sean and Bohm’s Swedish–Dutch collaboration EP is a tribute to their shared love for the raw grooves of Chicago and Detroit house, with a subtle New York twist woven throughout. Across four carefully crafted tracks, the duo moves between shadowy, deep synth-driven atmospheres and brighter, more uplifting cuts built around classic organ sounds. Each track reflects a true joint effort, blending their styles into a cohesive yet varied release that nods to tradition while keeping things fresh on the dancefloor.

Electronic mainstays and longtime collaborators Steve Bug and Stefan Braatz return to cult NYC label Nu Groove with the vinyl edition of their four-track EP, Circles. Showcasing a refined blend of new deep house, acid and underground club sonics, the EP opens with ‘Circles’, featuring the Chicago legend Virgo Four whose vocals bring a timeless energy to the record. A driving Beat Mix follows, transforming the original into a tougher, more DJ-ready cut. On the flip, ‘Nu Acid’ dives into raw machine funk and hypnotic pressure, while ‘Thiz Mood’ closes the EP while highlighting the duo’s mastery of tension and rhythmic detail. Rooted in the spirit of classic house while sounding firmly contemporary, Circles EP is another essential addition to the Nu Groove catalogue.

Over the past months, Demuja’s sound has been moving into deeper, more dub-driven territory. With his new album, "Demuja Presents Dubmuja", he ushers in a new era: one shaped by grooves, hypnotic rhythms and a lot of reverbs and delays.

After years of shaping dancefloors worldwide and carefully curating the sonic and visual identity of Up The Stuss, Dutch favourite Chris Stussy presents his most expansive and personal statement to date with his debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten...’. Landing on 3rd April, the album unfolds across three interconnected chapters - ‘Lost’, ‘Found’, and ‘Forgotten’ - each revealing a different side of his creative world across 19 tracks while remaining tethered to a singular wider vision.

At its core, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten...’ is an exploration of creative freedom. Visually and conceptually guided by the image of a kite, the album reflects movement, perspective, and balance. Floating freely yet always anchored, the kite mirrors Chris’s approach to music: unrestricted in emotion and imagination, but grounded in groove, craftsmanship, and intention. It’s a symbol that naturally extends the Up The Stuss identity; pointing skyward, embracing openness, and encouraging curiosity.

The ‘Lost’ chapter opens the album by giving new life to music once left behind. These are tracks written across different moments in Chris’s journey, ideas that never quite found a home until now. Rather than relics of the past, they emerge re-discovered, refined, and fully realised. ‘

Found’ represents inspiration in motion. Sparked by collaboration, digging, and shared creative exchange, this chapter captures the moment when ideas connect, and colour floods the sky.

The album closes with ‘Forgotten’ - a nod to the deeper cuts, the B-sides, and the moments that reward patience. This chapter is for the heads and diggers; tracks that may not demand immediate attention but reveal their value over time.

Rafa Santos continues the Mate label's fine tradition of quality deep house excursions with a well-formed new 12". Just one original features and it's the A-side beauty 'Our Journey', an unhurried groove that is happy to wallow in soft piano chords, with icy hi-hats strewn through the mix and the main focus left on a sax line that rises and falls, sings and cries, all while a nagging vocal loop adds extra pain. Atlanta house hero Kai Alce drops an NDATL remix that brings more bump to the drums but keeps the emotional edge of the original. Class.

Soul II Soul's classic gets the Cinthie treatment. The Berlin based DJ, producer and label owner behind 803 Crystal Grooves, Collective Cuts and We R House, and the mind behind the influential Elevate record store, turns her attention to one of British soul's iconic collectives. Missing You, originally released in 1990, gets stripped back to its raw emotion and rebuilt for the floor. The Club Mix retains the original's emotion while driving it with low-end and a peak-time arrangement. The two dubs go further; raw, tool-ready cuts built for DJs.

dubbed-out Balearic trip with Rhodes, strings and elastic bass for longer sets. “Feel The Dub” goes deeper with bass up front and tasteful vox, while “U Can Dance 2 Jazz” closes with jazzy chords, a sophisticated sax line and a garagey lift

Chicago’s finest, Chez Damier’s “Untitled E.P.” gets an essential reissue for the first time in over five years. Originally released in 1993, this timeless piece of dance music still stands the test of time, sounding as fresh today as it did over 30 years ago.
