Having changed the face of electronic music with his hard-edged and uncompromising but brilliantly persuasive sound, Gesaffelstein returns with 10 original compositions created for the motion picture soundtrack of new thriller Maryland, which also comprises three classic tracks from his discography.

Pressed on double 180-gram heavyweight vinyl, housed in screen printed gatefold and inner sleeves with one of his musical scores printed on X-Ray paper, this beautiful vinyl edition is limited to 1000 copies.

* Jon Gurd's Birth Right EP is the first material from the Portsmouth based Techno producer in more than 2
years since his ventures on Octopus recordings, 8 Sided Dice and Quartz. The EP therefore indicates an
audible step change not just in the approach to production but also in the mindset and emotive feeling
behind each texture and layer. Having emerged unscathed from a traumatic family related drama Jon
communicates a tortuous and re-evaluated life message across all 3 tracks, and is dedicated to his brother
with a hidden meaning conveying, Tomorrow Is - Promised - To No One'.

* Dissecting the EP further the educated are blessed with field recordings, analogue rumbling and modular
synthesis exiting from almost 24 months of lab driven experimentation. No real process has been applied or
extant formulae followed and the EP's resounding success is that this now exudes what Jon feels' innately
rather than what the industry wants, therefore the journey, endless noise making and experimentation gives
a balanced and exciting offering. Jon comments seriously my process for producing this has been all over
the place, literally stumbling on shit, slipping over my own creative vomit, workflow went out the studio
window on day one'.

* Having spent two years asking himself why he makes music, I think on first listen of Birth Right EP we will all begin to empathise why. Remixes kindly provided by Messrs Dave Clarke and Ancestral Voices (new project from Liam Blackburn formerly Indigo / Akkord).

* A long time-friend and recording partner of Alan Fitzpatrick, as well as one third of Mister Woo with Dave from Reset Robot, Jon Gurd is best known for his work on the likes of Octopus Recordings, 8 Sided Dice and Quartz. Abundant with field recordings, analogue rumbling and modular synthesis, his latest signing to Derelicht is a result of almost 24 months of lab driven experimentation, and marks an auspicious return from a musical hiatus that stemmed from a personal tragedy. From the off, 'Tomorrow Is' is a driving piece of techno complete with sinister undertones and menacing atmospherics, meanwhile 'Promised' focuses on a low-slung groove as tantalising synths operate on top. The last original, 'To No One', then exhibits a deeper vibe with ebbing pads and spectral chords. Dave Clarke's decadent rendition of 'Promised' ups the tempo whilst demonstrating commanding kicks, until Ancestral Voices, the new project from Liam Blackburn (Indigo / Akkord), strips back the beats of 'To No One' for a subdued subterranean workout.

Optimo Trax 16 is a various artists EP featuring tracks from Glasgow, London, New York & Edinburgh.

First up is Glasgow dj, Beta with his debut release "Endless Plains" a broken percussive, spine tingler. 100% emo.

Next London's L/F/D/M who had the first release on Optimo Trax returns under the modified moniker Love's Flaccid Disco Muscle with something a little different. "3am at the Aqua Disco" is bass heaviness with an almost exotica-style lead line. Unique and glorious.

Side two kicks off with New York's Alex Burkat (now relocated to Philadelphia) with an 8-minute depth-charge, "Culture Full Circle" that features a mutated sample form a legendary reggae track. One to get lost in.

The EP closes out with Modini (aka Neil Landstrumm and Alan Parley) with "Ghost Seducer": bass, dub and bleeps 21st century style.

Tasty Treats, another side project of the multi-talented Ronald Burrell dropped this 4 track EP way back in 1993 on the cult Citi label out of NYC.
As expected the tracks contained within have all the facets of that magical "Burrell sound"; healthy doses of Soul, sleaze, deepness, late night atmosphere and that solid, no nonsense NY/NJ House attitude, for the heads, the dancers, the all nighters and the freaks! This is pure Shelter/Garage joy!
The Burrell brothers back catalog is just ridiculous in terms of releases, styles and quality control and this EP sits comfortably up there with some of their classics. An all round solid EP for all true House music lovers regardless of area code or geography!
%100 legit re-issue, re-mastered and brought back for the summer 2015 flex - Don't snooze!

Zaquoir alias Matthias Groß is a producer and musician currently living in Leipzig. After sending us more than 10 GIGABITES of great music, we sat down together and tied a selection of his really eclectic styles of production together into one LP, creating some sort of showreel created in the timespan of over 15 years.

Zaquoir himself sees the record as a reminiscent mood of a donkey in the Sardinian sun and describes the record as a trip in itself, allowing the listener to traverse the lines of various acoustic landscapes.

The tracks on the LP where produced in six different places, including a historic house in the centre of Vilnius, the artist residency "Blumen" in Leipzig, a French-German art association and a village in Northern Bavaria.

2015 ist das Jahr des neuen Albums von Alex Bau, das Ende April seine Definition von modernem, intelligentem Techno mit einem düsteren und zugleich auch organischem Touch präzise definiert. Nach 5 Jahren quasi überfällig ist es definitiv an der Zeit, daß einer der am meisten für ihren Sound respektierten Technoproduzenten nach mehr als 100 Produktionen und Remixes auf szenerelevanten Labels wie Chris Liebing`s "CLR", Techniasia`s "SINO", dem englischen Technoaushängeschild "Sleaze Records", dem legendären Harthouse oder auch kürzlich auf Sven Väth`s "Cocoon Recordings" nun erneut ein Techno-Statement in Form eines Full-Length-Albums zu setzen.

Und genau hierfür kam nur eine Plattform in Frage: Alex` eigenes Label "Credo", das vor allem in den letzten beiden Jahren mit seinen eindrucksvollen Releasaes mehr als durchgestartet ist.

2015 will see alex baus new album 'musick' to be released end of april showcasing his definition of slightly dark shaded, organic sounding and intelligent modern techno. A clear statement, free of hi-res artistpics or diverting elements, just the music in a very pure and straight way.

after 5 years it seems to be more than overdue that one of the most respected producers throughout the technoworld delivers a new full-length album after far more than 100 productions and remixes on well established labels like chris liebing`s clr, technasia`s sino, uk top notch label sleaze records, legendary harthouse or most recently also synewave and sven väth`s cocoon recordings.

anyway... it was clear that there just one spot on the label-landscape for his new longplayer: credo, his very own label which was kind of outperforming throughout the last year.

hile it may seem as though it's been a quiet year in the studio for Brooklyn-based DJ/Producer Greg Schappert (aka Donor), his first full-length album entitled Against All on Chicago-based Prosthetic Pressings, will prove otherwise.

This 10-track release is a tour de force of formidable intensity and suspense and Donor wastes no time creating an ethereal realm right from the start. By taking a deep dive into a dystopian world full of distant transmission like voices, expressed through field recordings taken in and around New York City, Donor successfully paints a picture of what could be his unsettling vision of the future. While it may be difficult to explain how this album progresses throughout, there is something below the surface tying everything together, leaving us with a feeling of despair in that the world does not end how it is likely to be perceived through this beautiful or haunting, yet sophisticated, soundtrack. Alien invasions, civil war, post apocalyptic mayhem, call it what you will, Donor sets the stage for an unsettling vision of the not so distant future that can be heard in his thought provoking debut LP.

Donor's time spent overseas living in countries like Spain and Japan, his love for Birmingham Industrial Techno and early Dutch and Detroit Electro, combined with his upbringing on John Carpenter films, have all contributed to Donor creating his unique, yet recognizable sound.

Top quality reissue of the original 3C Records release of the hugely in-demand 'Respect' 12' from electric violin virtuoso and academic Dr John Blair. Originally released back in 1983, this floor filling boogie rap bomb features production from the legendary Roy Ayers who expertly brings to life Blair's incredible musicianship. The Doctor drops a cool positive vibe rap on Side A but it's the instrumental on the flip that's the real fire losing the rap in favour of some insane violin soloing. Seattle/San Francisco based Techno label, From 0-1 issue "Time Dilation", a 12" vinyl/digital EP by label director, and co-owner Milkplant (Justin Pennell) of the San Francisco Bay Area. Andrei Morant and From 0-1 co-owner Sone join in as remixers. Including an endless groove and two locked grooves, this piece of vinyl is meant to be as utilitarian for the vinyl DJ as possible. 'Dimension 4' starts off the EP with a classic big room percussive Techno vibe, closing in an endless groove. Following is Andrei Morant's absolutely punishing treatment of Dimension 4, a tearing lead, and searing percussion point to the main room. Two locked grooves, one percussive, the other synth based close out side '0'. On the flip side Milkplant's 'Spherical' reps a tight "future-retro" vibe; elements of old Motor City Techno dominate with a bit of grit to keep it dirty. Sone dials in a perfect toned down, more expansive and hypnotic interpretation of Spherical showcasing slowly evolving filters and modulation fit for the wee hours of the morning. 'Plasmic' is included only as a digital extra in this release- tough, noisy, and a little tripped out with a bit of swing to keep them on the floor.

Scuba Death is Ricardo Donoso's alter ego. With more of a focus on analog sound, percussion, sampling, and location recordings, there is an organic undercurrent on Scuba Death recordings that isn't as prevalent in his solo work. This music is rich in atmosphere while still tethered to the deeper ideas that Donoso often explores in his work. Treatises on fear and death­anxiety, the underlining thematic framework for the project, run rampant throughout these claustrophobic electronic passages, and teeter on the edge of being oppressive. Nitrogen Narcosis marks the first full length and strongest statement in the Scuba Death repertoire after the privately issued, ruthless 'Demon Seed' twelve inch back in 2011. The album alternates between surprising lethargic dance inflections all nestled between 75 & 100 bpm, the normal resting heart rate for adults, and the more conceptual, numbness­inducing pieces like '50­-70 Meters' and 'Nociception.' Sequencing plays an integral role on Nitrogen Narcosis as the listener is suddenly thrust into the darkest reaches of the ocean after dark alley grooves are sucked into an aquatic abyss. For a project named after Donoso's near­drowning experience in the South Atlantic when he was younger, there's an impressive amount of reflection & vulnerability present - the field recordings that permeate throughout the album were captured at the same location the undertow caught hold of him that bright Summer day 20 years prior. An inner battle between paranoia and euphoria is played out in well­conceived, precision sonics on Nitrogen Narcosis as Donoso reminds us to look back, break through the surface and go deeper.

Optimo Trax is an offshoot label of Optimo Music for tracks aimed at DJs/dancefloors. Yes, we know there are too many record labels already, but we felt an overriding desire to start another one as so much music that didn't seem quite right for Optimo Music (i.e. music that was specifically designed for dancing) kept coming our way. Michele Mininni is from Southern Italy where he says people are not interested in his type of music so he was forced to reach out to Glasgow where it turns out some people most defintely are. Citing his influences as kraut, post rock, new wave and electronic amongst others, this is his debut release and most accomplished it is too. Lowering the tempo somewhat compared with previous OT releases, Tupolev Love is a sub 100bpm cosmic trancer while Telekomdisko raises the tempo and heads off into sun drenched space territory. The EP is completed by Michele's fellow countrymen, Boot & Tax's great acid-inflected remix of Tupolev Love.
