The Crossroads arrives on the heels of “Syrup Sandwiches” (feat. Joey Bada$$), the fourth lead single released by Cordae ahead of today’s official album release. Previously, “Saturday Mornings” (feat. Lil Wayne), “Summer Drop” (feat. Anderson . Paak), and “Mad As Fuck” were released along with accompanying music videos. An official album trailer was also previously shared on Cordae’s YouTube channel last month. The Crossroads integrates the four lead singles into a cohesive 16-track album containing even more stellar collaborations from Juicy J, Ty Dolla $ign, Jordan Ward, Ravyn Lenae, and Kanye West.


Cordae’s inspiration for The Crossroads comes from his feelings of quite literally finding himself at a crossroads in his own life. Through the album, he conveys his conviction that one single decision doesn’t have the power to change everything, and that while there may be hard decisions to make, there is never truly a “wrong” choice.

The album has already had a viral moment online in the UK with the features being tagged on to the iconic Abbey Road crossing during release week. "

Trueno is the result of the exploration of two lovers of the unusual, the experimentation, and the noise. The product of the meetings between Martí and Oxo during various sessions recorded in 2024 in Oxo's private studio in Madrid.

Martí provided his modular synthesizer, and DIY sound generators and modifiers. A set of parts that transform electric signals into audio and deconstructs them to the smallest grains. Through synthesis processes, and the use of the sampler as an instrument, the sound is destroyed, constructed, and manipulated, generating complex sounds and structures, both rhythmic and stochastic.

Oxo is a sound engineer and experimental musician. He provided all the necessary machinery for recording and mixing and a constant creative suggestion, facilitating the process of capture, breakdown, editing, and mixing in real-time.

After twenty years of playing intensely as a recognized musician and sound artist, Martí has recorded his first reference, an LP that can never be performed, but can be listened to permanently.

LA native Anenon returns with a highly anticipated new album 'Moons Melt Milk Light' on Tonal Union, bearing his most personal, expressive, and arresting works to date. Anenon is the ongoing solo studio and live project of Brian Allen Simon, whom since 2010 has released multiple albums and EPs to critical acclaim, including the highly revered 'Tongue' (2018) and 'Petrol' (2016).

'Moons Melt Milk Light' is direct, efficient, and unwavering in its immediacy. Anenon departs from the electronics of previous works, and embarks on a reductive, almost entirely acoustic approach consisting of piano, tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, and field recordings. All of the music was improvised with everything recorded as either a first or second take with no edits. Any layering happened fast and in the moment, and yet the sonic architecture of the whole feels both planned and refined.

Am 28. Februar 2025 machen Stereolab sieben Studioalben erneut als 2LP-Formate erhältlich. Seitdem tourte die Band mehrmals durch ganz Europa und erreichte Millionen von Streams. City Saints haben sich einen Namen gemacht für ihre "take no prisoners "-Attitüde immer auf "High Voltage" und ihren eingängigen Refrains. "Explosiv!" ist da keine Ausnahme. Das Album kann als liebevolle Hommage an die Heimatstadt Göteburg der Band verstanden warden. Sowohl in den Texten als auch durch den musikalischen Einfluß der Göteborger Punkszene der späten 70er und frühen 80er Jahre sind die neuen Songs dazu passend wieder in Ihrer Heimatsprache aufgenommen worden. Portland-based ambient architect and far afield sound technician Graintable, aka James Cooke returns with his debut outing on Music To Watch Seeds Grow By and his fourth in the R$N stable; 'Blue Flax'. Following his acclaimed and sold out cassette releases 'Herons', 'Universal Ash' and ‘The Rain In The Trees’ on Ransom Note Records, this new collection sees Cooke delving deeper into the intersection of natural processes and liminal organic electronics.

'Blue Flax', the resilient flowering plant celebrated for its delicate blue blooms and medicinal applications, is native to the Pacific Northwest - the region Cooke calls home. This plant has long grown on the ancestral lands of the Wasco, Klickitat, Warm Springs, Cayuse, and Umatilla tribes. Its connection to this landscape underscores the album’s themes, weaving together ten intricate ambient pieces that reflect the plant's dual nature of part healer, part object of wonder. Recorded during the transitional hours of dawn and dusk in his Portland studio, Cooke’s soundscapes capture both the meditative aspects of watching plants grow and the gradual transformation of organic matter into usable forms. The centrepiece of the album Cerulian FIelds, reminds of the early morning light, those inspiring hours before the rest of the world wakes and the first shoots break through the soil into the new dawn. It’s a beautiful crystallisation of what is Cooke’s most comprehensive collection of meditative compositions to date.

Es war 2003, als "Fire", das Debütalbum von Electrix Six aus Detroit quasi aus dem Nichts erschien, um weltweit die Dancefloors zum Beben zu bringen. Hitsingles wie das ikonische "Gay Bar" oder "Danger! High Voltage!", zu dem gerüchteweise Jack White persönlich Backing Vocals beigesteuert haben soll, laufen noch heute in den Clubs und Indie-Playlisten. Zum 21sten erscheint jetzt eine remasterte Version von "Fire" auf Vinyl und CD. Die CD wird außerdem fünf Bonustracks enthalten. "Fire" wurde zwischen 2002 und 2003 in Michigan aufgenommen mit ergänzenden Arbeiten in den Londoner Abbey Road und Olympic Studios. Bereits die erste Single "Danger! High Voltage!" schlug medial ein. Pitchfork schrieb über den Song: "it drops a hard beat, announcing itself with taut wah-wah guitars before exploding into fuzztone and horns while singer Dick Valentine duets with the White Stripes" Jack White". Die Folgesingle "Gay Bar" stieg in die Top 5 der britischen Single-Charts ein und wurde von Q und Kerrang für das "Video des Jahres" ausgezeichnet. Charlie Charlie (the Swedish duo of Chords and Bella Boo) have been long-time admirers of Mondag, ever since their ears first met the melancholic splendor of Sad Soup. When it came time to create Save Us, they had one request: a sax solo from Kristian (of Mondag fame). A beautiful idea, but as the fates (and studio schedules) would have it, the horns never made it onto the album.
Fast forward, and what began as a missed opportunity has now come full circle. Mondag, still taken with Save Us, took matters into their own hands and offered up a remix – a shimmering, unexpected rework of a track that already carried so much weight. Charlie Charlie obliged. And, because there’s no such thing as too much of a good thing, Bella Boo herself offers a tight and nimble edit, while Gerd Janson drapes the track in an ambient mist for those more horizontally inclined.

The Local Moon (East Berlin 1987/88) The name The Local Moon originated from an intimation by the oriental jester Nasreddin that every city had its own moon. This idea did not go without a certain local colour in the bipolar frontline city of Berlin; from an astropolitical view, its divided sky never saw a full moon, the light conditions were ideologically broken. From the black light of those years emerged The Local Moon. René Le Doil and Ronald Lippok took wings like two crows from a pigeon’s nest when quite suddenly in 1987 light entertainment permeated East Berlin’s Offground and the two musicians were hired for the New Romantic revue New Affair. Before that, Le Doil had been involved in the Stattgespräch fashion spectacle and in Allerleirauh, the “thing of light, space, sound and leather”. Lippok had been the drummer for Rosa Extra, one of the earliest punk rock bands in East Berlin. Released for the first time on vinyl, ‘Brat and it’s completely different’ is the reworked version of ‘BRAT’ which reached number 1 on the UK’s official album chart, and includes the number 1 single ‘Guess featuring Billie Eillish’.
