An awe-inspiring piece of music; Maceo and Gabriel have pulled out all the stops in creating this anthemic masterpiece. A sure fire dancefloor destroyer! The original is also deftly remixed by Barnt and by North Lake.

The A Side features North Lake's infectious deeper remix whilst the flip features Barnt's epic revision of the original. Both of which create fantastic versions of the original version, taking it off into new stratospheres. Another great single from Ellum, who seem to be going from strength to strength.

No Static Automatic is proud to announce the new EP from UK Electro legend Phil Klein under his Mental Note alias. Titled “Batteries Not Included (Brain Sold Separately),” this release marks the dynamic follow-up to the acclaimed 2020 debut “Voices In My Head (Noises In My Pants).”

Few authentic Electro producers from the UK can wear the badge ‘legend’ with the same level of justification as Phil Klein, aka Bass Junkie. Active since the late 80s, Klein has tirelessly shaped his distinct vision of Electro, both as a solo artist and through storied collaborations with icons like Dynamix II, Keith Tenniswood (Radioactiveman), and Si Brown (Dexorcist). As a DJ, remixer, live act, and the driving force behind the seminal Battle Trax label, his influence is woven into the fabric of the genre.

With essential releases on labels including DMX Krew’s Breakin’ Records, Andrea Parker’s Touchin’ Bass, and Billy Nasty’s Elektrix, the Bass Junkie sound seamlessly bridges the old-school beats of Electro’s origins with a potent, borderline-industrial edge. As noted by Andy Barton of Bass Agenda: “From funky to ferocious, Bass Junkie’s discography is a must-have for anyone claiming passion for the genre – influential, individual, and infectious with every beat.”

Now, as Mental Note, Klein continues his exploration of electronic psychedelia. The new EP, “Batteries Not Included (Brain Sold Separately),” is a four-track expedition through the Electro cosmos:

Polizei” returns in a special picture disc reissue, available in record stores from January
30, 2026.

Juan Atkins returns as Model 500 with I.D.L.E., a transmission rooted in Detroit's original machine language. The package expands with two reinterpretations from different corners of the electro-techno continuum. DJ Stingray pushes the track into high-velocity orbit, sharpening the rhythms into a relentless futurist propulsion. Per Hammar joins Craigie Knowes for his label debut ‘Sidewinder’ EP. 4 rolling tracks built to maintain and elevate dancefloor momentum. Per Hammar’s production mastery is distilled into these monstrous club jams with every element tailored to serve the rhythm and keep you moving. This record is varied yet coherent package of house, tech-house and minimal flavour; from the rolling bassline on Sidewinder, the minimal chug of Viper, the euphoric uplift of Afterglow, to the thump and swing of Mono Boy. From the submerged chords and playful percussion of the A side title track to the stripped down, dreamy late night drive of the Lesterr Interpretation on the B side, this record stays close to the floor.

"Receiver Objects Without Sender (R.O.W.S) is a collaborative project between the late, ever-enthralling Eletun Selona and Martinou. R.O.W.S was conceived as an open, exploratory outlet for the two artists over several years. It became a space to lean into heavier, more textured techno and dub influences, while still grounding their shared instinct for house. The LP release 6.05 for St Odes is a collection of some of the many finished and unfinished collaborative projects left in the wake of Eletuns passing in 2024, finished and cared for by Martinou over the course of the past year, as a means of coping with the immense sorrow."

2024 Repress

Random Factor's 'On The Air' EP is a hugely sought-after classic by those who know. It came on Ralph Lawson's ever-reliable 20/20 Vision and now, as it turns 25 years old, he has decided it is the right time to get it remastered and reissued. 'On The Air' is first up on this fine EP from Carl Finlow and it has serene synths that bring to mind Detroit techno soul over pulsing bass and slick drums. 'Lockdown' has a raw vocoder vocal over punchy drums and twitchy synth stabs and 'Undercurrent' is another weapon that has more than withstood the test of time as it bumps along on funky drums and is overlaid with more playful synth patterns. 'Disconnect' is a crunchy and 8-bit closer with pixelated synths and screwy acid lines. Superb.

For the follow up release Amsterdam legend RDS delivers four heads down and effective and lanky cuts on the Nesreh label. Hailing from Amsterdam, with a slew of releases under his belt on labels such as Undersound, De Lichting, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Jamming Is Life. Mastered by Isabel Schroer at Olo Mastering.

We travel back to the early days of proper Tech House during 2003. Picture the scene, in Online Studios, Croydon, London UK and Evasive label boss teams up with his friend Simon Copleston (Iteration X).

Following on from the success of Timecheck by Iteration X, Rob & Simon create this new collaboration to fuse their distinctive production sounds together as one unit under a new moniker 'Rob & Si'. The word 'classic' get's bandied around a lot when talking about certain records, artists, labels etc but rarely is it truly justified. In the case of the monumental slab of NYC deepness that is 'I'll Be Your Friend' we feel the tag is genuinely justified. Originally released in 1991 on the RCA label the track has been one of house music's most enduring anthems. Literally one of the deepest tracks out there, it's combination of Owen's vocals paired with the stellar production techniques of Def Mix's David Morales (and THOSE drums) is such a heady combination that the record crossed over so many scenes and to this day remains an evergreen staple in DJ's of all persuasions bags. Featured here we have all the original mixes (with the exception of the shorter radio edit) in their original forms. The record sounds as fresh as it ever did, the sort of track that never dates and will always fit into a set, the very definition of a classic.

Moving shadowy into 2K26, presenting the latest addition to our EYA catalog ~ Secret Powers EP by Colombian artist Samuel Jabba

Evasive are back on track with this stylishly smooth three track 12", Mistaken Identity, Pursuit of Bliss and Restless are the first three offerings from The Inhabitants (Rob Pearson & Kate Smith). With this their debut release as a duo the pair deliver us some fat, futuristic, Detroit meets South London Tech House. Rob & Kate are currently in the studio working on more material so a follow up E.P is imminent.
